My Time to Kraft! #435 Colouring on Kraft.

Image
Yes, the new Challenge at My Time to Craft! is Colouring on Kraft. I made an Anniversary card with white heat-embossing and Prismacolour pencils. This lovely bouquet image is Beautiful Bouquet: Ranunculus from WPlus9. So pretty! For bling I dotted quite a lot of Gold Coast Crystal Nuvo Drops around the bouquet. My teamies have left a variety of lovely cards to showcase the technique, do go and see them! Thanks for looking, and stay safe and well. love Mags B x

Dream Valley DT #113 - Use a Charm

Image
Good morning! For the first time in days we have blue skies and sunshine, and everyone seems to be smiling! We have a great Challenge at Dream Valley this fortnight, and it's to add a Charm to your creation. Our sponsor is the wonderful Diane at Di's Digi Stamps she draws the most adorable images! I have quite a few of her images already, and used the cute 'Hedgehog Blossom' to make an Anniversary card: I apologise for the faded photo, the colours are brighter irl! I used Promarkers to colour the Hedgies, and gold glamour dust for the centre of the flower: I chose purples to resemble a Michaelmas Daisy. The papers are a freebie (again!) and they are 'Rose Garden' by Marianne Designs. I used some lace from The Ribbon Girl and a length of purple thread over it. The charm was a RAK from my daughter. I added a Memory Box Breezy Wreath and some butterflies punched with a Martha Stewart punch and then glittered. Go and see the charming creations...

CRAFT DT Challenge #316 Anniversary/Wedding

Image
Good morning, good morning, good morning! Thursday means another CRAFT Challenge and this week the theme is Wedding or Anniversary . This is the 'wedding' time of year, so the theme is very appropriate! We have fab sponsors: Bugaboo Stamps Eureka Stamps I used a Bugaboo image starring the awesome Gus and Stella . This image is 'Deck of Cards.' The sentiment is finished on the inside and reads Marriage is like a deck of cards. In the beginning all you need is two hearts and a diamond. By the end, you wish you had a club and a spade. The papers are from stash, and I used a spellbinders Wonky Rectangle to cut the image. I used little wooden hearts inked in black or red and Glossy Accented, then I added the tails to the spades with a black pen. Have a look at what my CRAFT teamies have created, they will inspire you! Thanks for looking! love, Mags B x

Dream Valley DT Challenge #85 Inspired by a movie, song or book

Image
Hello! Can you believe it's already the end of June????? This year is EVAPORATING! Here we are with another challenge at Dream Valley and it's one that everyone enjoys: Be Inspired by a Film, Song or Book Our super sponsor is the wonderful Crafty Sentiments and a lucky winner will receive 3 Digis as a prize! I used the adorable Sweetheart Bunnies and my song is an oldie but goodie: 'Daisy, Daisy, Give me your Answer, do!' This is an anniversary card for my brother and sister-in-law, who have a tandem. I used Spectrum Noir pens to colour the image. I used a Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Square die to make the mat. The papers are old ones from my 'magazine freebie papers' box, and the yellow ribbon is from Hobbycraft. The sentiment is by LotV and I used another magazine freebie, a labels die, to cut it, and tied a scrap of baker's twine into a bow. In the corners are various coloured stickers from Paperchase, I like how they pick up the colours in t...

LotV and Create4fun challenges

Image
The current LotV challenge is 'Love is in the air.' So I used these adorable bunnies - aren't they sweet? There was no problem deciding on the colours, it had to be Red, White and Blue in honour of The Wedding on Friday. So what did I use? The papers are: Bearly Mine (blue dots), Bo Bunny (red) and Kay and Co (striped) all from my scraps box! The sentiment is also LotV and I covered it with Glossy Accents to give some shine. The flowers are Wild Orchid and the heart border punch is Martha Stewart. I also used a Woodware leaves punch. The sketch is from the Create4fun challenge which I really like, even though I missed the deadline, I think! The card is for friends who have their wedding anniversary coming up. Tomorrow lunchtime I'll be posting about the new Dream Valley Challenge which goes live at 12, but I have to go to Saino's after Church, so my post may be a trifle late. Thanks for looking, and I hope you're having a good weekend! luv, Mags x Promarkers...
