DE BOMMELBAND - IN MIJN HART...

Here's an album from Rotterdam band De Bommelband.... Frontman Arjan van Bommel is a good friend of mine and guitar player Marko van der Horst was one of my closest friends, he passed away some years ago and I miss him very much, can't even begin to describe all the adventures I had with him.... They play blues-rock and country songs, all sung in Dutch and they were always fantastic live... Me, Marko and Bommel used to work together in a crazy cafe in Rotterdam called The Rhythm, good ol' times :)

CAT MOTHER AND THE ALL NIGHT NEWSBOYS - CAN YOU DANCE TO THIS?

I never heard of these guys until I recorded this 7" and these guys are pretty damn good. Been reading about them a bit, one of those great forgotten bands from the end of the 60's. They were opening shows for Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin....

ARJAN VAN BOMMEL & DE BOMMELBAND

Got a whole bunch of songs from my buddy Arjan van Bommel who is a singer/musician and the frontman of the De Bommelband from Rotterdam. Me and Bommel and guitar player Marko go back a long way, we used to work in the same cafe many years ago and I actually played drums with the Bommelband a few times.... They play country, blues and rock and their performances are always a PARTY!!!!
