AKA - DO WHAT YOU LIKE

Here's an album from AKA and this one came out in 1970. Great album, some of the songs on this one, hard to believe this came out in 1970, they were so far ahead of their time and their first few albums, this one included, didn't sell very well, so the record company forced them to make more commercial music. Those didn't sell vert well either and their frontman, Ucok Harahap left the band and started the glitter rock band Duo Kribo with Achmad Albar. The rest of the band went on with the name the SAS Band... This album has been re-released a few times but this one, an original copy, is very, very rare.... GET IT HERE Enjoy!

DEDDY STANZAH - GADIS DALAM ROCK

Deddy Stanzah was born Deddy Sutansyah on 14 April 1949 in Bandung, he was a member of God Bless, The Rollies and Superkid, he was a very, very talented musician as you can hear on this mega-rare solo album (which is a promotional vinyl copy for radio stations, this officially only came out on cassette). Years and years of addiction ruined his health, ravaged his lungs and a heart condition plagued him and he passed away at age 51 in Bandung on 22 January, 2001..... GET IT HERE Enjoy!

ACHMAD ALBAR - DUNIA HURU-HARA

OGLE EYES - OGLE EYES

Mega rare album from Ogle Eyes, a 70's band from the city of Malang in East-Java, they had a huge reputation for putting on amazing shows and mainly that was because Micky Markelbach (aka Micky Bentoel or Micky Jaguar) was their singer. They used to call him the Mick Jagger of Malang, and he would do crazy stuff on stage like biting living rabbits and drinking their blood... By the time the band recorded this album Markelbach had already left the band in persuit of a solo career....

REYNOLD PANGGABEAN - PUBER PERTAMA

Here's a cool one.... An album from Reynold Panggabean.... Reynold Panggabean was the drummer in The Mercy's and he was married with singer Camelia Malik with whom he made a lot of dangdut albums. Camelia Malik is the sister from Achmad Albar with whom Reynold was in a fusion band called Tarantula, they mixed dangdut with rock and latin music.... This is a promotional album for radio stations.... Signed, in a Mercy's cover.... Quiet a find!!! Some pop songs, some rock songs and I specially like the song "Luar Biasa" which has a (short) drum solo in it..... GET IT HERE enjoy!

M A T B I T E L - P R O M O A L B U M

Here's a collector's item and a very rare one at that, the promo-album (for radio stations) from the Mat Bitel band from Bandung, active in the 80's and they're still very active, still performing... This only came out as a cassette and even those are quiet rare nowadays... As you can guess from their name they were heavily influenced by The Beatles, but these are all own songs and this is a pretty good album, some psychedelics sprinkled here and there, and yes all very Beatles like. This is a pretty good album and very, very hard to find.... GET IT HERE Enjoy!
