Introduction Day 5......... Layering Spring Blossom

 Hello crafty friends!

Happy Saturday!

Welcome to the Final Introduction, Day 5. Today, I am featuring Layering Spring Blossom, which has three layers.

I took a textured CS to showcase the magic of this pretty spring blossom layering stencil.

First, I placed the first layer of a larger-sized floral image stencil on my textured navy blue CS and inked it with Glacier white pigment ink. Then, I placed the second small floral image with leaves stencil and the third one with dots using the same white pigment ink.

Again, I placed the first layer & second layer stencil and inked up the floral images using crushed olive and rustic wilderness distress oxide inks for some colors to pop.

The sentiment is from the Flower Power #10 stamp set. And placed this panel on a textured cream Card base.

Introduction Day 3....... Stencil - Ink & Flip Delightful Diamonds

 Hello crafty friends!

Happy Thursday!

Welcome to Introduction Day 3 at Uniko Blog. Today, I am featuring the Ink & Flip Delightful Diamonds stencil.

This is done using this unique stencil and two inks. The stencil is super simple, and you can get many different dimensional looks.

First, I placed the stencil on my white panel and used one ink to color the shapes using a blending tool.

Lift off the stencil, wipe, and clean it. Then flip it over and color the other half of the shape to create a diamond with another ink. I wanted more dimension to the diamond's shape, so I again rotated the stencil and inked some overlines in white space using the same uncharted mariner DO ink.
I added the heat embossed sentiment using Wow silver bells embossing glitters from the new Butterfly Serenade stamp set to a strip of teal CS. I added some hearts from the Balloon Bash stamp set using silver metallic pigment ink. To embellish this card, I added a few enamel-shaped dots, perfect for Masculine cards!

See, it's super versatile and you can create more designs from this stencil with different colors!

Kindly check out more inspirations at Uniko Blog today, along with other DT members' Blog posts.
See you tomorrow for more fun!

January 2025 Release - Introducing Day 4... Ink & Flip Layering Flower Stencil AND Simply Said Blocks Occasions Clear Stamp Set

 Hello everyone!

Happy Friday!

Welcome to Day 4! Today we are introducing the new Ink & Flip Layering Flower Stencil and Simply Said Blocks Occasions Clear Stamp Set which can be used for many occasions.

I love this stencil and how easy it is to make a card with a big impact! It is an innovative and creative stencil that can be used to build a flower using a rotating technique!

I chose three distress inks for the stencilling. You can vary the amount of ink and the pressure you put on the brush to achieve the various inking effects you want from lighter to dark.
First, I started using shaded lilac DI through the stencil and rotating the stencil to create various color effects using the same ink.

I overlapped my second flower stencilling using picked raspberry ink.

Again I overlapped my second flower by using the villainous potion DI to create the third flower.

I liked the variation of colors and interest this stencil brought! Sometimes, you have to experiment and try things.
It was fun to play!
I hope you definitely love this stencil and create something soon! You can find more inspirations here.
Thank you for visiting and come back for the fourth reveal tomorrow!

Brand Ambassador Inspiration: Mixed Media Christmas Tree Trio

Hello everyone!

Happy Thursday!

Recently I was going through my stash and rekindled my interest in Silver glitter paste. Because of the paste opacity, a thin layer makes it more opaque and visible the underneath color. Talk about the drama!

So I thought it would be the perfect use for a new stencil release Christmas tree trio recently at Uniko.

It looked complicated but was easy to make.

Here are step-by-step instructions with pics:

On a white panel, I placed my Christmas Tree trio stencil and drew the outlined trees one by one as shown in the above pic.

Once again, I put my stencil to ink my solid outlined tree using mowed lawn DI in between all these trees one by one.

It appeared like this as shown in the above pic.

I ink-blended the rest of the space using forest moss, crushed olive and mowed lawn DI. I outlined my trees using a green acrylic marker for more interest.
Now it's time to decorate my trees and the background. I added some confetti using DI.

I used my beloved Posca white pen for snowfall in the sky. Stamped the sentiment from the Pure Florals Poinsettia stamp set. To finish it off I wrapped a thread around the trees.

Hope you all enjoyed this!
Happy crafting!

Brand Ambassador Inspiration: Stencil Christmas Cards

 Hello everyone!

Happy Saturday!

Today I am on Uniko Blog with some Christmas in July inspiration cards. I have fun making samples with MOD Background Builder Circles. I really like how they turned out!

Card 1

I created a stencilled panel in the festive Christmas colors using Distress inks lumberjack plaid and cracked pistachio by masking the stencil.

I added the panel to a red color card stock and adhered that panel to my white card base. The sentiment is from the Most Wonderful stamp set. The addition of red pearls enhances the beauty of this card, isn't it!

Card 2

I came up with an idea for a type of pinwheel flower using it somewhere. How would it work initially? The end result is here.

What do you think? Pretty funky Christmas card in rainbow colors! The colors of the pinwheel flowers and the background is created using the Distress inks pine needles, mowed lawn, crackling campfire, carved pumpkin, uncharted mariner, chipped sapphire, picked raspberry, and wilted violet.

The sentiment is from the Season of the Beauty stamp set. The colored rhinestones are added to the center of the flowers.

Go and make some funky pinwheel flowers for yourself. The MOD background Builder Circles is such a fun and versatile stencil, you definitely go for it!

Thanks for visiting today!

June 2024 Reveal, Release, Brand Ambassador Blog Hop & Giveaway!

Hello to all!

Happy Saturday!

Time to reveal the June small new release today. All the products are so versatile with power pack designs created by very talented Bev!

Have you noticed the fabulous new website look.......? If not, visit now; all the latest products are available here!!!

So let's get started with my first card.

I created some dimensional hexagons in rainbow colors using different distress inks. Firstly, I masked the panel to create my design. Adhered my first layer of stencil applied the distress ink and then flipped the stencil, inking the dimensional hexagons one by one. The sentiment is from the everyday spring sentiments stamp set.

Created the diagonal offside stripes in bold colors inking twice. First in salty ocean distress ink and then picked raspberry ink by overlapping the stripes.
The sentiment in the center is from Big & bold Happy stamp set.

For this card, I started by stamping some offset stripes on a white panel. Die cut a butterfly from this.
On my black card base adhered two layered of textured sheets in yellow and soft green. Stamped the pattern using Background blocks linear stamp set in rustic wilderness distress oxide.

Before adhering to the striped panel, I placed a piece of black CS under the butterfly for dimension.
I love you sentiment is from Flower power 9 stamp set. Finished it off with some black rhinestones.

How fun to play and match with some new designs to old ones!
This is what I thought of this set when I opened up my new goodies and came up with this fun idea, beautiful blooms and so whimsical!

First, I created some stripes by a masking technique using background builder offset stripes, and outlined the stripes using a black Sharpie pen. The cat is from Mid-Century Modern Purrfect Day. The blooms are from the Flower Power 9 stamp set and I watercolored them using my ZIG watercolor brushes.
The sentiment and the small hexagon elements from the Bee stamp set and placed some small rhinestones to enhance the beauty of this card!

Now some colorful blooms card using Flower Power 10 stamp set. At the bottom, I placed the scattered polka dots stencil and inked it in jet black ink. Stamped the blooms and leaves, watercolored them all. Added a thin black strip and placed some adhesive half-black pearls.

For my last card, I created a background pattern using the floral images from the Flower Power 10 set. I stamped the flowers and leaves multiple times using the last shadow ink.
Then watercoloured my florals and leaves using ZIG watercolor brushes.
After creating my own background pattern, I adhered that panel to my black card base with matching color stripes. I heat-embossed the sentiment in white from the same set and finished it off with some rhinestones.
Yes, I was oohing and aahing over this for quite some time seeing the result!!

There is a giveaway, be sure to leave a comment on all Brand Ambassador blogs or on any social media for a chance to win the entire release before midnight 7th July 24.

Day1..... Introducing Ink & Flip Geometric Hexagon

 Hello to all!

Happy Tuesday!

I am excited to show the June first release product: Ink & Flip Geometric Hexagon Stencil!

Great combination of Art and Math, the possibilities are endless!

This one may be for me. You can make many patterns using this ink & flip stencil and create a card for any occasion by changing colors, textures, and techniques!

Here is the first idea I had with my first try with the new two-layered Hexagon pattern stencil!

To create my background I placed my first layer of the stencil and applied distress inks. Then, I flipped my same stencil and inked again using a foam brush. In the center, you will get a hexagon. Now I adhered my second layer of the stencil to create a Pattern inside the Hexagon. The bee hive with a bee's knees with a sentiment from the Bee Happy stamp set.

I tried to keep a dimensional look for the guys in your life with my next design.
There is so much to notice in these pieces! The more you did, the more possibilities you saw.....!!

I created the geometric Hexagons in shades of brown with 3D dimensions at the center panel using the Hexagon pattern stencil. Masked both sides and applied Altenew peach perfect, dark chocolate, caramel toffee and paper bag ink. I trimmed the extra piece in length and added that trimmed piece using foam tape for the dimension with a Birthday sentiment from the Big & Bold Happy stamp set.
It's got that retro, mid-century look that I love!

The addition of the loop idea came from my dear Bev's flower card and inspired me to add this beautiful flower black ribbon loop. In my opinion, it gives an aesthetic look, what do you think........! Finished it off with some rhinestones.

In the meantime, check out more inspirations by our fab Uniko Brand Ambassadors here:

Brand Ambassador Inspirations - Modern Mid Century Aesthetic background murals!

 Hello to all!

Happy Thursday!

Today's cards are inspired by Modern mid-century abstract designs and are perfect for man cards as well! Uniko has such a great collection!

To create my background, I used rusty hinge, aged mahogany, scorched timber and lost shadow distress inks through Mid century modern shaped stencil.
Then I inked my beautiful blooms III using versafine Onyx black and stamped according to my needs.
The dots are from the Balloon Bash stamp set and I finished it with My Life is Better sentiment.

The second card is in a neutral boho color style!

This card is created using Mid Century Modern Florals stamp set with such beautiful elements.
It looks like a wall hanging. It is in boho style neutral colors. I used rusty hinge, scorched timber, saltwater taffy distress inks along with onyx black ink.
You inspire me sentiment with some black enamel dots finished it perfectly.

Hope you are inspired by both!
Have a wonderful day!

Craft hugs!

Brand Ambassador Inspiration: Background Block MOD Builder stamp and stencil cards

 Hello friends!

Happy Monday!

Today I am showcasing the beautiful stamp and stencil from Uniko: Background Block MOD Builder!

Card 1

This Background Block MOD Builder stamp totally amazed me with its pattern block, so many possibilities. Do you agree with me!!!

I created a Masculine style card in grey tones!

I started with a whole block from the upper side on a white panel and then the lower side using archival jet black ink. Then I filled the Neutral grey color using a Copic Marker in the whole pattern. I adhered that patterned panel to the black base card. Added another white panel with a sentiment I Miss You from the Just Because stamp set. Simply finished it off with some black pearls.

Card 2

The next card showcases the Background Block Mod Builder stencil with the same pattern in multicolored spring gardening. I used only the centre part of the stencil.

The repeating pattern makes it perfect. I used different Distress inks to create the pattern and cut the panel from the center. The sentiment is from the Just Because stamp set and is finished with a few white pearls in the center of the flowers.

Working with these two was so much fun!
Happy crafting!

December 2023 New Release Day, Blog hop and giveaway!

Background Blocks Perspective £6

Stencil - In & Flip Snowflake  £4.25
Copyright Uniko Ltd 2012 - To Date

My first card showcasing Background Blocks Layered Stripes!

Firstly I stamped the Layered stripes in Altenew blush ink on a white CS and heat-embossed all the edges of the CS with Wow Rich Gold Pale Gold EP.
On a piece of vellum paper, I created a bauble in Rich Gold Pale EP using Mid Century Modern Baubles stamp set.

Now cover the striped block with that vellum piece and tie it with a copper string. I matted this onto a Pearl Peach CS.

Totally changed the whole look, so Christmas-sy!

Here is my second card showcasing the Background Blocks Perspective stamp!

I started by stamping the blocks on a piece of white CS and colored it with my Blue color ZIG watercolor brushes.

The next step is to color the faces of the blocks in smokey blue.

The rest of the blocks on the upper side I colored red and the bottom ones in pink color.

I paired it with the Mid Century Modern Christmas stamp set and the sentiment is from the Most Wonderful stamp set. And matted it on my card base along with red and pink frames. Does this block have so many possibilities to play with!

My final card uses ink and flip Snowflake stencil.

I started by inking a square white panel using seedless preserves DI. Then got this beautiful snowflake in the centre with a star design!

I masked some of the panels and applied blushing berry sparkle paste to the triangular parts only as shown in the below pic.

But after removing the masking tape some of the parts get smudged, so I cut this panel into pieces like this.

Inked another panel once again and at the center I created a winter scene using Background Builders Winter Wonderland stamp set.

Adhered those sparkled pieces to the main panel and voila love the result!
