12 tags of 2016 - december

Hi everyone,

This is the last tag of the 12 tags of 2016! Can't believe that another year has passed. I'm so glad that Tim does the tags every year, and hopefully he will continue this tradition next year. It's been a blast! The mixing of techniques from previous tag is such a great idea. Love to mix and match them. This months tag also has fabulous techniques.

Collaging isn't really my thing, because I'm just not good at it, but I love to challenge myself a bit, and this tag has given me one. I chose different colors, I chose the blue wintery color scheme.

Even on burlap Distress Crayons, works I'm totally impressed with this product. For me it's the product of 2016! I need to use more colors, and experiment with more techniques. That is a challenge for 2017!

12 tags of 2016 - November

Hi everyone,

This time I'm really last minute with the 12 tags of 2016 for this month. With only 19 hours on the clock. Tim has again made an amazing tag based on the Rub Resist technique of May 2013 and the Dimensional Coloring technique of November 2015.

I chose a very colorful palette of colors, because I wanted to use the beautiful botanical rubs. I love the spring and summer and I was inspired by a beautiful warm sunny day in Paris. I had trouble with the rubs, because if I accidentally touched with the sheet on the already applied rubs,  and I pulled it back some of the rub came off in certain places. But I love the look it gave me. An additional distressed look.

12 tags of 2016 - October

Hi everyone,

It's time for the 12 tags of 2016 for the month of October. Tim has made a fabulous Halloween tag, it amazing! Love that Frankenstein Monster Mask.

For the background I used the collage sheet of Materialize Paper Pack. I've made a collage of my own by cutting some pieces out and collaged them once again. I still haven't mastered the use of the Crazing glue...

I chose this mini crazy bulldog (thanks, Cathie!), colored it with Distress Reinkers and placed him in the cage.

12 tags of 2016 - September

Hi everyone,

As usual, for me it's time for the 12 tags for me at the end of the month. This month get to play with Yupo. During CC103 I had another brand  of Yupo paper, and some techniques didn't work. Like this one. Meanwhile, I have purchased the Ranger Yupo, and it works like magic. Yippie!

The background of the tag is almost completely covered by the Yupo, but it was fun to do the Paint Patina technique again.

With the Yupo I had a lot of fun, I'm so happy that this time it worked a lot better after my fiasco with the other brand of Yupo. Didn't think there was much difference between the brands. But now I know that it was not me ;) ....

12 tags of 2016 - August

Hi everyone,

End of the month  it my Tim time, and this August tag is really a combo of amazing techniques. The Brayed Stain of July 2013 and Frameworks of April 2014. Is it really been that long that I've done those techniques?! Time really flies!

Frameworks dies are amazing, but I use them not a lot. It really gives the project such a cool effect. I'm so happy that Tim chose this technique!

The Brayed Stain is actually a technique that I only used to 12 tags, at least that I can recall. Love that it made it's come back for this tag. The edges have I done with Distress Crayon black soot. That's a technique that will come back many times! LOL!
