Hi everyone,
It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "School/Study Related".
The summer holiday is over and that means it's time to go back to school (or work). Even though it's not of this time anymore.... (I know, I'm old ...), I made a blackboard background with Distress Oxide Black Soot and Iced Spruce. The chalk like effect of the Distress Oxide is perfect and to get a little bit of green into the mix I've used some Iced Spruce.
Out of Washi tape I made a few books. I adhered them down on some cardstock distressed the edged with a black Big Brush marker and cut them out indiviually. With a little bit of Barn Through Distress Paint, I've put some red accents onto the books. For the word "back" I've used the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Alphabet stamp set with white embossing powder. The apple is from the Simon Says Stamp Dancing Fruits stamp set. Unfortunately, the coloring of it hasn't got recorded. I've colored it with Distress Oxides and Distress Inks.
