Inky background - 

• Mopped up ink - oxides picked raspberry & crushed olive
• Stencilled - dots in crushed olive
• Stamped text & splats (some 2nd generation)
• ink - watered down a splatted

Flowers - stamped with Altenew beautiful Day set

fussy cut then coloured using same inks as background and raised on foam pads.

I'm late posting this as I lost track of the day's, bank holidays for you!!! I must say a big thank you to Marlene for the reminder.

Vintage Roses

Good Morning,

I've been having another play with my Altenew stamps and a bit of masking

I inked the edges and used the same ink to add a few splatters which I added glossy accents to.

I started with a piece of white card which I applied strips of different coloured inks to using  dusting brushes. I then stamped my Altenew "beautiful day" flowers and leaves in VersaMark and heat embossed in white. I stamped part of the sentiment and cut part on the cameo

It's a Beautiful Day!

Good Morning,

Been having a play with my Altenew stamps I brought a while ago.

I'm definitely going to use them again.

Altenew beautiful day flowers & leaves were stamped with a black outline then 3 coloured layers added for flowers and 2 for leaves. All were cut out leaving a small white border and arranged onto card using foam pads to give dimension. The sentiment, from the same stamp set was then stamped directly onto the card in black. I was pleased with the outcome some decided to make another one.

This time I stamped the images with versa mark and heat embossed with a fine white powder. i then added the layers in yellows and pink memento inks. Sentiment is from the vintage florals set & stamped in black. A glittered butterfly was added for a bit of sparkle. 

Don't know which colour combo I like best.

Ring a Ring of Roses

Fabulous theme this fortnight at 

Moving Along With The Times

Ring of Roses

She really would love to see roses but any flower will do

I covered the card base with Dainty dots embossed paper on a purple base and added some paper cut on the cameo to 2 corners. Organza ribbon was then added with a piece of purple card with rounded corners was added using foam pads. Altenew roses and leaves was stamped using memento ink pads, cut out and arranged onto a white round die cut with a sentiment stamped in the center.

Dream Valley - Summer Colours

Good Morning everyone ,

The new theme over at 

Dream Valley

Summer colours

So I had a bit of a play  with this beautiful image and some memento & distress inks.  I painted  the image  with the inks adding water and  to give a sort of watercolour effect . I was quite pleased with how it turned out for something that was quite quick to do.
