Princess seeks frog..

I just received this oh so cute frog and quote from Scrolls Work Stamps and couldn't wait to play with them, so I made this card using Emma and a crown stamp which are also both from Scrolls Work.
The background is inspired (again) by Jo's fantastic article in the 10th birthday issue of Craft Stamper Magazine. I used a white crayon to scribble over white card and then coloured the card with Worn lipstick distress ink using cut'n'dry foam. I started inking from the inside to the edge to give a faded out effect. I am entering this for Rainbow Lady's make your own background challenge.

wee witch

I guess there will be quite a few Hallowe'en challenges around this week but I didn't think I was going to bother until I came across Gothic Arches "wee witches" theme. I couldn't resist.

I also fancied having another go at the background I accidentally created on my heart piece, but this time I decided to incorporate the bandana technique to tie in with Saturday workout's theme.

As I have used the word Magic on this piece I will also enter it for Rainbow Lady's Magic and mystery theme

All of the stamps and the collage image are by Inka

the theme at Rainbow Lady's challenge is ribbons, so I thought I would post this ribboned fairy wand that I made for Carrie's birthday

baby heart hanging

Rainbow Lady's Challenge this week is to use board. I have had some mountboard left over from a large project (a 3ft high gingebread man) which I have been using. I used some to make my fairy door, and I used some to make this heart. I free hand cut the heart from the mountboard and painted it with gesso. I also cut the B and painted that with blue and white.

This is for my little sister who's baby bay is now 8 days overdue!
