This weeks My Time To Craft Challenge is "Zig Zag" so I made a Zig Zag card. I had great fun making this card as! The writing is done with my cricut and the frog is a stamp made by my friend Linda!
This weeks My Time to Craft challenge is "Under The Weather." Here is my card made I must admit with a little help from my son Dom for one of his friends who has been off school ill! A very simple straight forward card but sometimes I think that is the best way!
I had an order this week for 3 fathers day cards for the same father! So here they are. Always difficult to make mens cards but even more so when they are for the same person on the same day!!
This card took me ages even though the person it is made for had sorted and stuck down all the photos all I had to do was scan them and print them off - she had left gaps so I had to work out how to cover them! Anyway after lots of shuffling of tiny pieces of paper this is what I eventually came up with. I like the finished result so I will just have to wait and see if she approves!
I do get asked for some odd things on cards but this has to be one of the oddest! An old battered caravan! Anyway I rose to the challenge and here it is - the colour of the card obviously was dictated by the grubby colour of the caravan. All in all I'm quite pleased with the end result.
On The Funky Fairy Challenge website the theme is green. So I made a very green card. The backing paper is green downloaded from the funky fairy website. Then I printed the swirly pattern also from Funky Fairys onto acetate. I then stamped the quote onto the same patterned paper as the background. The butterfly was also stamped onto the same paper and stickles and a bindi were added. The acetate is then held on with some ribbon!
Yes another one! Last one for now! Birthday card next! This card is made with stickers! But very cute stickers!! Writing was done on the computer - not much to say about it really.
Here is a Christmas decoration I have been asked to make - it matches one I made a couple of years ago. I had fun making it!
I started by covering a piece of mountboard with christmas paper. Then I covered some slide mounts with matching papers. The words were printed on the computer onto acetate then this was made into a shaker box with some snowy white glitter. Two star charms were added to the frames and ribbons for hanging and decoration.
An easy card for an order today for a first granddaughter! I cut the baby face out with my sizzix and then cut it again in white and embossed the clothes and bow with a cuttlebug embossing folder. I then printed the words from the compuer and cut a tag shape on the sizzix again! I finished the card with some fuzzy baby girl hands and a ribbon for the tag.
For Allison's challenge this week we had to download some manly men! I did this and chose a manly fisherman!! I coloured him in with Marvy Le Plumme pens. I then used papers from a Lisa Bearnson kit for all the backing papers. I embossed a distressed piece of card with a cuttlebug embossing folder. I finished it all off with a happy birthday and a large brad.
I get some strange requests for things to put on cards and this time was no exception. A badger ! It doesn't matter how much stuff I have people always find something I haven't got . Anyway I did it I found a cute badger on the computer and cut the numbers with the cricut. The tag is made with a quickutz die. Words are all done with peel offs because I had to hurry up and get the card finished. Actually I'm really pleased with this card
