Holiday books!

I think I might have drunk a few cups of coffee on holiday! Here a few books I made with the cuffs from the cups!

Villandry

Another coffee cup cuff book! I now wander round looking for different cuffs! This one is from a cafe at Bicester Village! I finished the book off with a gromlet and some ribbon.

Pret Book

I made this book after seeing it on a blogging friends blog - I rushed out for coffee that morning to get one of the "cup cuffs" or whatever they are called - have a look here for her fab inspiration ! I've got a few of these ready to be made now.

Lydia's birthday a few days ago and here are the card and note book I made for her.

Dom's Homework

I know looks odd doesn't it? Well let me explain! Dom did his homework and we wondered how to hold it together and my bind it all just happened to be getting very dusty so we wiped it off and binded the book. Well this is the very first time I have ever used it to bind more than the 5 or 6 holes it makes in one go. As you can tell I'm a little proud of it!

Dreams

I've decided to raid a chipboard box I bought ages ago from QVC - lots of fab chipboard bits and pieces. So here is the front cover of the book that is resulting from the raid. I covered the background in green and silver dabbers then edged it with silver leafing krylon pen. The slid mount was then coloured silver and little flowers and dots added.I then coloured the grungeboard swirl with silver krylon pen and added some chipboard flowers. Just got the other pages to do now!

Inside Book!

All pages made using chocolate ink and a mixture of stamps. Added extras are stickles, inkssentials pen, ribbons, gems and brads!!
