Snowy The Snowman

Allison's challenge this week is snowmen and hopefully I have managed this one just in time!
The snowman and snowflakes are Linda Luckin Design stamps. I stamped the snowman in black stazon and coloured his scarf and hat with water colour pencils. I then added some dazzling diamonds from stampin' up. The snowflakes are heat embossed in enchanted gold. Background paper was embossed with a cuttlebug embossing folder.

White Birdy

Allison's challenge this week is to stamp in white! I 've had this white stamp pad for ages but never really used it so this was a very good chance! I added a sticky acrylic gem thingy for the eye. Ribbon, ric rac braid and a charm are the finishing touches.

Words of Wisdom!

Allison's challenge this week is "words, words, words" so this gave me a chance to dust my favourite quote stamp off again. The background and butterfly are PaperArtsy stamps I have just got and this has been my first chance to play with them. The butterfly has a pretty bindi body and of course I added some ribbon - well I had to cause I put tape there to stick the vellum!!!

Flower

Allison's Challenge this week is "Flowers" so here is mine! Part of the challenge is no ribbons - how cruel is that??? So I used no ribbon Not Sure I stamped the flower with Olive Green Stazon and added stickles to the vase. I used gems to brighten it up. I could only use two colours so picked green and pink - dunno why cause they are an odd choice really but it seems to work!

Bookmark Box

Allison's Challenge this week is "All Boxed Up" so I made a box. I took 5 chipboard coasters and coloured them with a Pool dabber and a copper dabber around the edges! I then stamped each side with blue stazon. I then punched holes around the edges with my crop-o-dile. Brown ribbon was then threaded through the holes (boy that was a struggle!) Then I finished it off with some acetate butterflies!

Burnt Offerings!

For Allison's Challenge this week you had to burn part of your card Shocked but me being a real coward I couldn't. Allison had added a link to her blog showing how to burn using inks - well how to make it look burnt then! So I did that instead! Much safer Smile So I inked the stamp with distress inks then went round the edges of the tag with my scissors to make it look raggy (I can't find my edge distresser anywhere!) Then I inked the edges with Vintage Photo Distress ink. The text was added with the vintage photo ink too. I then added eyelets and grungeboard which was inked in pink. A dragonfly brad finishes it off.
Took me a whole week to get this far.

Clearly Pretty

Allison's Challenge this week is to use acetate. So I made an acetate cover for this card. I stamped with brown stazon and added stickles over the leaves. I then covered the card with Martha Stewart paper and stamped the quote. Another appearance by my sparkly acrylic blobby spots. Unfortunately the acetate doesn't show up very well but it really is there - honest!

Something a Little Manly

For Allison's challenge this week we had to download some manly men! I did this and chose a manly fisherman!! I coloured him in with Marvy Le Plumme pens. I then used papers from a Lisa Bearnson kit for all the backing papers. I embossed a distressed piece of card with a cuttlebug embossing folder. I finished it all off with a happy birthday and a large brad.

Hang in There!

Allison's challenge this week is "no colouring!" So I stamped this rubbadubbadoo stamp with versafine vintage sepia (the temptation to colour him in was immense!but I resisted!) I then embossed some gold card with a cuttle bug embossing folder. I added some spots to a prima flower and fastened it in place with a pearly brad. I added a photocorner that I cut with a sizzlet die colouring in the swirl with an inkssential pen and added a tiny gem. How did the ribbon get there?? Open Mouth

Spanish Lady

Allisons challenge this week is to use one of the

Girls of the world clip art images! So I printed them out and chose the spanish lady.I masked her so only her dress would pick up the stamped flowers . Then I coloured the rest of her with watcolour pencils.I made her fan sparkley with stickles and finished the card of with my old faithful ribbon and a couple of brads.

Background Coffee

I thought I'd have another go at Allison's Challenge today - this week it is "playing with backgrounds." So I used my Italian poetry stamp from hero arts and stamped it with versafine vintage sepia. What else could I put with all that italian writing other than coffee? So I stamped onto some white vellum with my impression obsession coffee stamps and stamped a quote then I backed all the pieces onto holographic mirri card . I finished it all off with some brown ribbon, brown brads and a silver wire swirl!

Scrappy

Allison's challenge this week is to use up some scraps - so that is exactly what I did! I rummaged through all my scraps of paper and card for nice pieces I could use. Then it was the turn of the desk for all the little bits the stamp is a new one but I had stamped the image earlier to try it out. I could actually make thousands of card just using scraps Lol

Dotty!

Thought I would have a go at a different challenge today! So while I had the fairy stamp out I thought I'd make good use of her.
This challenge is called "Dotty!" from the "Allison's Suggestive Sunday Challenge"
I used Hero Arts dotty stamps to make all my backrounds then added a dotty ribbon with a dotty buckle. I then embossed some holographic mirri card with a dotty cuttlebug folder. Part of the challenge is to add dots with a gel pen so I made the fairy dotty too!
Another part of the challenge is to pierce a hole so I did and put a dotty brad in it.
I hope it is dotty enough!!!!!
