stuff and nonsense

I came back and said things were difficult...
which they were
and then I disappeared again.
I am not sure how much time
I will be spending here, as I still
am not crafting much at all.

I have missed you all though!

I am away to go to have a peek
at what you have all been up to,
but need to say, blogger is playing up,
i can get some blogs to open
but cant leave comments....
some things never change eh!

Made a few cards this week.

I am sorry i didn't thank everyone

It was all about the time things
went belly up here.



Not my usual style but I loved making this.
It is a thank you card for a dear friend.

Sympathy cards are not easy,
I tired to keep this one simple.



This one brightened my day
after making the sympathy card.

Crafty Pad #11

Yes for challenge 11 it's .... Do the Twist
......let's see something twisted on your cards..i.e Ribbon, paper anything you like.

And I am so chuffed that my wee pink butterfly is the link button
on Crafty Pad for the butterfly stamps!



I have added twisted wire to my card.
The LOVE sentiment is a shop bought one.
There is again a twisted wire antenna on the butterfly.
And I used some twisted wire on on the verse, which is stamped onto shrink plastic and coloured using my chalk inks.
The back ground stamp was a beautiful new rose and leaf stamp that I received
in a blog candy win from my lovely bloggy mate Chrissy.

2 cards, 5 challenges.

Have managed to make two cards this evening,
while my hubby makes a lovely supper.

I am enter both of them for a couple of different challenges,
this one is Poppy dog with a bonnie pink ribbon and a thank you charm hanging from it.
It moves when you pick up the card.

The first challenge is for Cute Card Thursday #39 this week being hearts.
ABC Challenge is T for three.
So here we have three colours on the card, cream, pink & white. Three hearts, using three different patterns of card, and three brads.





The weeks Challenge on This Thursday is Mistletoe and wine using either images or their colours. So I have gone for green and white of mistletoe and red for wine.
It is using my new Tilda stamp. I love her fancy shoes!!

A spoonfull of sugar is THANK YOU Cards.
So either card will do nicely thank you very much!

Paper take weekly is giving you a recipe to use on the card,


1 ribbon
2 rectangles and
3 small, round embellishments (zooms, eyelets, brads, buttons, gems etc!)



so yeaup.....one ribbon, and two rectangles a cream and a green one.....and three buttons.
I used some wire on the buttons and some fake pearls on the white button.
