Poppy & Blue !

Dog class last night .

Poppy-dog is in love with a handsome Border Collie called Blue.

He is only 18 months old so only a month older than Pops.

They were more settled yesterday evening's at dog class.......
which is much better than them capering and mucking about
like they have done for the last two Wednesdays since meeting each other!!!

They still like to snuggle and Blue nibbles her ear!
Then my darling lady like dog stands on his head!!!

Blue's owner said that he doesn't bother with other dogs ,
he avoids them and that is so not the case with him & Poppy-dog!

But now cuddle in and lie beside each other, with paws crossed!

Very sweet!

Its cute to see them interact, they are both spayed so no puppies will result in this frolicking!

Talking of cute.....this wee Fairy is Princess Amber another wee cutie drawn by Sammi.
I am entering it for ABC Challenge which this week is R is for Ribbon,
I love the butterfly ribbon, I got it in the craft shop I go to card class in. It is so pretty!

This one is a house mouse image that I got from Chrissie ! Thanks babes!
The house mouse blog's challenge this week is All about Christmas.

I am also entering it for Cute Card Thursday which this week is snow or snow flakes.
The snow flakes on the red card is done with gold ink and takes ages to dry.
I ended up with some smudges on the brown base card so added more smudges to it.

flowers, flowers everwhere .....with given love

I love flowers..... they seem to be everywhere just now, which I am happy about.

Flowers on cards.

Really enjoyed making these two cards on Tuesday night at card class in Sally's shop.

The first is made with hearts cut out on pearlised card and was fiddly and frustrating.

But the card it made was very pretty,
and just what I needed to give to my Lovely mate Emma.
It's hard when someone you care about is hurting over the death of a much loved friend.

HUGS.

Emma we are here for you, you have been such a great mate to me.
If I can do anything to help then just let me know....

And the second one is more of a fun card.
A cute purple and yellow daisy combo.

Looks very simple on the outside.

And then you get the pop up surprise when you open it.

And lastly.....I just love this fairy stamp and she looks right at home on this green background.

Then today when Emma, Belle and I went to get our veggies from the stall in the field I saw these....they are a little wilted due to being car, but have perked up after a drink.

They are just beautiful! They have all the colours in my kitchen ....

Then we went to a local small garden centre....

How sweet are these wee chrysanthemums and are pink and white all in the same pot!
They are tiny wee flowers!
This Echinaechia was just stunning! I am planning one for the garden !
Its flower head was the size of my palm!

It was just lovely wandering around the garden centre, they have such amazing plants,
and they are so healthy.

But the reason we went there was I have been looking for something special.

I wanted a rosemary plant for Emma.
not only is it her fave herb to cook with, Emma loves the plant for its look and smell.

It is also for remembrance.....

"There's rosemary; that's for remembrance.
Pray, love, remember."
~Shakespeare, Hamlet

"Rosemary has been a symbol for remembrance since ancient times.
It has been used as a symbol of love and remembrance at both weddings and funerals,
as well as a number of other ceremonies.
For newlyweds, its a symbol of fidelity and a promise not to forget the vows they made that day; for loved ones who have passed on, a symbol of love and a promise not to forget the impact they had on your life and the memories that you shared with them."

And so ....I bought it for Emma, remberence for Deb.
Emma will always remember her and the joy that she brought to her life.
Not that she needs a plant to do so.

But I love plants, and I love the fact this plant will live on and give Emma joy.
Right now thats important for my friend.

post 2 of 4 ....3 challanges in one card.

I have enjoyed reading blogs this week...and nearly didnt get any challenges done at all!

but this card is sort of a three in one card....

Chrissy's Friday fable was a gypsy theme.....
Thursdays challenge needed things with bling.....
and the ABC challenge was F for fairy.....

I rather like the image and will use that again in a few ideas I have.

dance like no ones watching...

Once again I really enjoyed Chrissy Friday fable
The quote I have always loved, but shamefully never knew who said it.

Dance like no one is watching,

Sing like no one is listening,

Love like you’ve never been hurt,

Live like it’s heaven on earth.

Mark Twain

But here is my take on that!

I never ended up with a card like this one.
The ribbons make extra dimensions to her tutu.

I think I might also enter it for the ABC challenge
It is "E is for....Embellishments
Hope you are having a lovely weekend,
hugs
Teen xx

new things and chocolate cake!

I have had a lovely weekend.
Spent last week with Hubby as Pops recovered,
been saving my pennies and got a few nice new things in shopping trips this weekend.....
I am a very lucky lassie!
I love this fairy stamp, and Emma kindly gave me some stamped images of her,
but I saw her in Sally's shop and just had to take her home with me!
I love her to bits!
She lives pride of place on my new stand to use to photograph cards...
I KNOW ITS SAD!!!!
Don't judge me! we all have weird habits!

My little dragon fly was bough in a fair traid shop while in Aberdeen.
You don't see how pretty she is here, but she is lovely!

this huge spoon with a hook on the back and flat base for scraping is a jam spoon!
So are you getting the feeling I have strange ideas about goodies?
My hubby makes the nicest jams I have ever tasted.
And his parents are coming to see us next Sunday, after stopping off at fruit shop and taking us request berries, so we will be making jam baby!

Talking of what my hubby makes....check this out!!!!

This was to help cheer Emma up.... I would share it with you....

But Emma ate it all!
Only joking!
You don't want to believe half the things you read about her!!! Honestly You don't
Unless I write them!

Love you Emma babes!

And my last goodie....well my lovely lovely Hubby bought me a cuttle bug for my birthday,
well its for that, and Christmas, and easter, and thanksgiving and any other holiday that I think requires a gift for months to come!
I spent the afternoon playing with it at Emma's having a shottie of her many die's and embossing folders!
All in all a good few days!
