shapes in the middle.

First of all I am so chuffed
my card was picked by the random
number generator
over at Papertake Weekly!

*Happy claps* LOL

Right back to this next selection
of cards from the last few days.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This card is using
Lisa's sketch over at
Sketch & Stash.
The new stash is the birdie stamps.
The ribbon is new from Crafty Ribbons,
but the ovals is using fiskers cutting thingy
that I just can not get the hang of at all!
I have a nice new blade, the right mat,
(Thanks Kath!)
but nope.
So I draw round the holes
in the template sheet
and cut them out!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Next one is also a challenge card,
can you tell I am
on holiday from work this week?

Sugar Nellie have a sketch by Marlene
and have the added girlie theme if you want it.
Well I am not sure she is feminine
but she is a girl!
I love this wee Gothic Girl !

After being all messy with chalk inks
I just wanted something clean & simple.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Creative Card crew want
and easel card.
And my sentiment means
I can enter it in
A spoonful of sugar
who want
good luck or best wishes.
Anyone for Anya want flowers.
I have punched out parchment
instead of velum this time.
They looks so much softer.
This card is using Tash's Sketch
over at Oh Alice!
And Tash wants daisies on the card.
So there are in fact daisies
on the card.
The beautiful Lace was a gift from
my lovely mate Amanda!
No puppy photos today.
Camera they are on is flat!
Hope you are all well.
much love Teen
Crafty Ribbons # 5 Muddy Paws
I loved the new Challenge from
Crafty Ribbons
Muddy Paws
Here are the items I am sending off.
I know you might have seen this photo before
but this is Poppy's best friend Brodie.
She loves him !!
I have used Pink & Blue "woof " ribbon
for boy & girl dogs.
The pink & blue paw print ribbon
combo is ment to look like a heart.
The brads are from Poppicrafts.
I stamped bigger paw prints in pink
and smaller westie paw prints in blue.
Now being a dog lover.....
I was tempted to just do
doggy themed makes....
but along with "woof" ribbons,
there are lovely meow ones too!
I haven't made an altered CD in ages.
The decoupage papers are paper nation.
And lastly my fave make!!
a wee box using green & blue ribbon
with rub on dog pictures on white card.
and when you lift off the lid.....
a glittery wee surprise!!
I maybe should have done 4 dog paws
as Man's best friend os four legged...
but they wouldn't fit!
The arty farty thought of using Poppy's
dog treat box and biccies as photo props
did not go un-noticed.....
Thief!!!
*sigh*
Andrew is going to get this to the post office tomorrow.
It is all boxed up ready to go.
I am back in bed with yet another
cold chest lurgy type thing.
Poppy keeps bringing me things....
like her toys,
socks,
clean washing,
her dog lead,
the bag of dog poo bags
Cupcakes mmmmmmmmmmmm!
Due to stuff and various things going on
I have been really getting these
Crafty Ribbons Cup Cake challenge cards posted here.
They are at last on their way to the guys at Crafty Ribbons.
You get a lovely selection of the ribbons they want you to use
and I love playing with ribbons as you know so it was a win win situation!!
Here they are.....
This one I am not sure about.
I love the ribbon flowery thing I made with wee bits of the ribbons in the kit.
The backing paper was a freebie from a magazine this month.
The Happy Birthday bit is a lovely thick ribbon from the ribbons I was sent for this challenge.
This one I didn't like as I was making it, but now love.
the cupcake is made from textured card stock.
I put the icing and the paper cake through cuttle bug folders,
the bottom one is actually my Christmas tree one.
The candy squiggles are chopped up zigzag ribbons from the kit.
The candles were made from wee bits of ribbon, glitter glue & liquid pearls.
I should have put the I love cupcakes ribbon over a wee bit
as I have hidden the cute wee heart on it.
Lastly, I know I have shown this card before,
But I love Sammi's beautiful wee fairy girls.
This wee cutie is Angelique!
I think I need to go get some breakfast....
all this talk about cupcakes is making me hungry!
recharge!
Been a busy and tiring week but its the weekend
and I am on annual leave next week so time to recharge
and get some fun stuff done!
These are a few cards from the last couple of days......
The first one is was an order from a lady at work.
She wanted a card and her request was for one that....
was funny,
for a man's 50th
he lays brick driveways....not sure why she told me this fact it didn't help!
he looks like Richard Fairbrass from Right Said Fred.
oh and he used to be a male stripper........
so this is what she got.....
She and all the other secretaries loved it!
Thank goodness!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Next is a card for a friends Birthday, that sat in my bag until today so will be really late on getting to her!
Not my usual colour combo but her fave, so that's why I did it!
It is my take on A spoonful of sugar's sketch by Debbie.
I turned it on its head so that Daisy was facing the right way.

And lastly is my take on Friday Sketcher challenge this week by Jacqueline

It is a request from someone else at work for her computer loving brother.
well thats me.....Brodie is on his way round to play with Poppy dog.
I have a few more cards to post but haven't sorted that post out yet!!!

Crafty Pad # 9

15th Feb Challenge on The Crafty Pad is to follow a Recipe of:-
a Faith image if you have one please use it,
something torn/ripped,
2 brads and some ribbon.

:) You may include other elements if you wish but your card must have these basic ingredients. ;)
There is as always, a wee prize.

Well you seen my sneaky peak!
Wish I had a pair of pins like that!!!

Mind you, I wouldn't mind her waist either!!!!

I do love this shade of green, has to be my fave colour just now.
The paper is a double sided 12 inch sheet from my local store.....
but I canny mind who by!
The felt flowers are paper mania.

Come on over and join in with us,
see the other fabby DT's creations!

friday things

It's been a busy week.
I am more tired back at work
than I thought I would be.
Have done no crafting all week till today.

This card is for a friends Birthday next week.
and is my entry in the Magnolia V's Stampavie
colour challenge.
They are looking for cocoa, sage, white and pink.
The green layering is not quite sage
but the leaves on the Elf are.

The masking effect was following a "How to...."
By Natalie on NG Cards.
Thank you Babes!

The leather effect cord on the tag
was from a tag on a bag of loose tea leaves !

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have layered up the made by stamp
that I got from the Lovely Sammi,
and used it on the back of all my cards.
This next card is also for a friends Birthday,
several of my friends have Birthdays this month.
It is being entered in Cute Card Thursday
who are looking for Metal items on your card.
It has sliver shimmery coloured card
in two pieces of layering.
A metal hanging embellishment.
And two cat themed metal brads,
& three pink metal brads on the cat's square.
It's my take on Janina's sketch at JCBC.
It has a bow on the sketch but
I wanted to use this hanging embellishment.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And lastly is a card for my Dad.
It's not his birthday till next month,
but I used a sketch from Sketch & Stash. #3
The stash is my Sugar Nellie stamp ~ Macbeth
and the new thing I used were distressing inks.
This is my first time using them to colour.
I need to practice a bit more with them.

Hope you have a lovely weekend.
love Tina xx
