Sweet!

I have two cards from Tuesday's card
class to show you this evening.
The third one is for someone
who reads my blog and I don't
want them to see the pic before they
get their cards.

I love acetate cards!
Blue and white is such a lovely
colour combo.
The white stayzone ink
doesn't show up so well.

The stamp was such a beautiful script.

Creative Card Crew want colours of your country,
well blue & white are colours of the Scottish flag.
My Time to Craft want some embossing.

Next is a twisted easel card.
I am going to turn it into a birthday card.
I quite liked this fold,
but it was a real faff to try to
get a good clear picture of it.

Next using a sugar nellie
cotton rabbits stamp to make
a wee pen holder using a recyled syrup tin.

Allsorts want us to recycle something.
Well this was a syrup tin once upon a time,
Totally Gorjuss want us to do something
as you like it.
This had my fave Sugar Nellie stamps,
gingham ribbon, home made
flowers that I love to make & involves recycling
and pink and purple are a fave colour combo of mine...
so that is just how I like it.

Happy Birthday Becca,

Our niece Becca celebrated turning
20 this week.
We spent a lovely day with her in Aberdeen
where she is in her second year
of training to be a sick kids nurse.
I am so very proud of Becca
and can not believe how
grown up my baby niece is....



Anyway......

I stamped the brown bag
and popped loads of goodies in it.
This is the wee photo book I made her.

baby boys and girls.

Two quite busy cards today.
The first one is for a dear friend
who had a baby girl called
Willow.
I love the beautiful photo
of her precious wee girl.

The crafty pad want something girlie.

The second one is for a girl at work
to give to her son who will
be one this week.
She asked for an A4 card,
and this is my first card this big.

I loved the backing paper but tried
to keep the rest of the card simple
so it wasn't too fussy,
the mum loved it,
but I am not sure about it at all.

I am entering it at Allsorts
who want a card for the boys this week.

Birdies & puppy dog tails

Lots of photos.....
only two cards,
and a wee felt flower.
But doggy updates are included.

My first card is using
my new Martha Stewart punch.
I am entering it in
Scrapbook sisters Thank you Challenge.

I didn't want this to be too
fussy as the wee birdies papers
are made using basic grey scraps
that are a bit busy.

Next card is for a friend I hope to see tomorrow.
I am loving my new punch,
and can see it being used a lot.
The back ground paper is basic grey again.

Cute card Thursday want 1,2,3.
I have used 1 punch,
2 stamps and 3 colours.
Pixie dust want buttons on the card.
Truly scrumptious want pink, brown & green.

This felt flower is for the same person
the card is for.
I made this flower using
tim holtz cutting die.

OK......
It's doggy time!!
This doggy bed is like a wee house
and has two openings into it.
We had to remove it as these two fight
over it, and bash who ever
is trying to get in the house.
They are both too big to fit
right inside it.....
But both try anyway!

They are as like chalk and cheese
in every way.

Our friend broke her ankle
when she fell on the ice,
her wee dog came to stay
with us for almost a week.....
He loves Poppy....
He is not so keen on Bella.
But Bella really doesn't care.....

Gone Fishing.....

This card was made just for my nephew
Billy who turned 13 today,
and he loves fishing with his Gramps.

I had a stick on fishy that I wanted to used
so based the colours of the card
on the same fish.
Went to put it all together.....
and had lost the blasted fish!!!


So...I tracked down the sheet of stickies
that the fish came on....
found the fishing rod and another fish.....
put it in the post and found the
first dashed fish......

it was stuck to my paper cutter!!!!

Don't you hate it when that happens!!!

Over at the secret crafts Saturday challenge
they are looking for buttons and bows.
Well can I tell you,
there is only one bow on this card....
but that footery wee thing took
me blinking ages to tie.....
its on Bunny's hair.....

Does anyone know where I can still get the
wee papermina or similar packs of calendars?
You know the ones you can use on easel cards?

Few cards from me today,
I know, I know....
nothing from me in weeks and then....
well you know the rest !

Was my Mam & Dad's Wedding Anniversary
yesterday and this was the simple card I made them.
The backing paper is a tea green in colour.
My photo's are nae great....but
I am focusing on not stressing over wee things
just now.......

Totally Gorjuss want a card for someone
special....and my folks are special to me.

This card is a play around with new stamps.
I am not sure about it at all.
I think I made a mess of colouring her eyes.
I have a sentiment but dont want
to say who it is for till I get it posted,
and the person recieves it.

Sine this wee sweet pea is a fairy
she is my entry for the following challenges.

but I think they are worth the effort.
I didnt want to do a black a white card this time.
Last few I have sent have been B & W.

new year started.

We spend so long preparing
for Xmas and New Year
and it is all over in a flash!

I made a load of calendars
and only took a photo of one of them!

My pups have grown up fast.
Bella is now 3 1/2 and
miss Bella-boo is 10 months,
she was booked into get spayed
this month, leave was booked from work
and she went into heat on boxing day....

walking is a pest, since she wants to run
and hates being on the lead
all the time while Poppy runs about.
