This DVD also includes Alfonso Brescia's highly entertaining 1965 peplum Conqueror of Atlantis in which Kirk Morris romances a princess and fights a mad sorcerer, robot-men and a bunch of arabs! Conqueror is presented in a watchable fullscreen print. (4/5)

This time Samson Burke plays the Ursus part instead of the usual suspect Ed Fury and a fine job he does. A very entertaining peplum with a pompeus hero with super strenght, a kid hero sidekick, a cunning and evil king, a princess in distress, treason, traps etc. (i.e the same old stuff we never tire of - it's not orginality we're after, right?). Was there a "funny" midget too? I can't remember. Anyway, real fun stuff, check it out if you get the chance. 4/5

No matter what the cover says this is not the 1958 Hercules starring Steve Reeves, but pulp genius Vittorio Cottafavi's fun Goliath and the Dragon (the european Vengeance of Hercules-version, not the US cut) with Mark Forest. 4/5

Fun swashbuckler that must have felt old-fashioned even on it's 1961 release. Pretty violent for this kind of film though. Easily confused with another early sicties italian adventure film called Rampage of Evil (Il Capitano di Ferro) starring gothic horror queen Barbara Steele (let me know if you have that one!). 3/5
