How much purple goodness can you get in one card? I just love how Stacey, over at Crafting Adventures (of a left-handed blonde), uses such vibrant colors. Her cards just scream, "Adore me!!"
Lisa, from the MayzyArt Design Team, has recently posted this great tutorial using a MayzyArt stamp. It's got some good hints on color combinations for skin tone. Check it out!
I have been looking forward to this week like you can't believe. This Thursday I'm off on a little vacation! Just some relaxation and a chance to catch up on my reading, but it should be just lovely. (Don't worry- it won't interfere with the delivery of your stamps!)
Also, I will be announcing the first MayzyArt Challenge this Saturday! I'm so excited and I know my DT is, too! I hope you'll all be participating!
First off today I have a pretty get well card from Maggie's Cat House. I like how it looks just a little bit washed out, just like poor Xandra! I know I'd feel better getting a card like this, if I were feeling icky!
Because we can never get enough of the lovely Xandra, next there's a pretty card from Amy over at Paper Craft Planet. You can't go wrong with sparkly, right?
Lastly, a really fun card from Copicaddicted. Isn't the bit of flowers and feathers a great touch? And such a perfect sentiment for Molly and BooBoo!
I am very excited to introduce to you the very first MayzyArt Design Team. I had so many amazing people apply, it was an extremely difficult decision. I want to thank everyone who applied!!
And now, in no particular order, the MayzyArt Design Team...
Jo Ann
Hi everyone. My name is Jo Ann and I am a happy
Stay-at-home Mom to my son who's 6 years old and a wife to my husband,
Joseph. I was born and raised in the Philippines but after marriage, I
came to San Antonio, Texas. I love almost all kinds of crafting...Creating
gives me a sense of fulfillment knowing that I give my best in everything I
do. After my son was born, I got into Scrapbooking to document my son’s
growth. Shortly after, I saw a magazine on Cardmaking and I was
hooked. I collected every tool available in the market, taught myself on
different techniques and started giving only handmade cards to friends since
2007. My biggest fan is my son who stays beside me each time I have a
project. I love it when he says, “Mommy, you made the most beautiful
card, ever!” I love my family and thank God for them everyday…
Mom to two wonderful adults, and a house full of animals - two dogs and
two
cats. I started scrapbooking 14 years ago and love to learn new
techniques. When Copic markers first hit the market I resisted ( for a
whole 2 months ), but temptation called and a new addiction bloomed! I
have completed both of the certification levels with Copic, and enjoy
sharing my
passion for coloring in classes and online. When the opportunity came
to
join the design team at Mayzy Art stamps, I jumped at the chance to be
part of
an exciting new challenge blog, and am so excited to join the other dt
members
and be part of this new adventure.
I have been rubber stamping since 1994 and started using digi stamps
sometime in 2010. I love working with them. I mainly color with Copics
but will break out my colored pencils and even my watercolors once in a
while. I love coloring and designing cards. I am married to my husband
of almost 30 years who supports my paper crafting addiction and just
smiles about all the stuff *cough* I mean supplies I have. I am
so excited to be part of Mayzy Arts design team and hope to inspire
many.
Hi!
My name is Darlene Lyons and I live in Ayr, Ontario. I am a SAHM
blessed with two beautiful girls Abigail and Hailey and a wonderful
supportive husband Todd, who gets the addict I've become since being
introduced to scrapbooking five years ago. After having my girls, I
needed some "me time" so I dabbled in all types of paper crafting, and
loved spending time with others who share the same passion for it.
After spending more time at the table than my girls colouring, I needed
to find an adult excuse to colour, which I found in Copics!! The only
thing I like more than creating is buying the things "I need" to
create! LOL With the encouragement of some close friends, I started a
blog at the end of this past year and haven't looked back once.
My name is Lisa and I live in Leicestershire in the UK with my husband
and
little pooch. I have been making cards since January 2010 and love
everything
about it. I don’t think I could ever get bored of making card and tags.
My card
making style is clean and simple. I’m not a big fan of using a lot of
embellishments on my cards. I am, however, I huge fan of patterned
papers and I
love to colour my stamped images!
I didn't have a creative bone
in my body until I decided I needed something keep me out of the cookie
jar. Short story even
shorter...I found card making in March of 2010 and a few months later
discovered copics and that's all she wrote...full blown addict to all
things copic, paper, digital stamps and rubber stamps! I didn't get
brave enough to start blogging and showing other crafters my work until
last June, but I'm so happy I took that leap and discovered the world of
blogging. I live in the beautiful Rocky Mountain state of Colorado
though I'm a born a bred Midwesterner. I hope everyone will enjoy
playing along with us and will enjoy these amazing digis even more.
I am always so impressed by the amazing things that you guys create using MayzyArt Stamps! You come up with things that I would have never thought of as I drew the images. Let's take a look at some examples, eh?
I'm having a lovely day and am listening to Alice Cooper at full volume. Woohoo for days off! As promised, here are some more gorgeous cards made by you all.
As the successful Mayzy Monday sale winds to an end, I'm happy to finally post some new stamps. Just some fair warning, posting may be a little slow this week as I am also putting a lot of time into some side projects. No spoilers but you'll appreciate these in the long run. ;-)
Today I'm unveiling the Expecting Mothers set, with three individual stamps or a discounted three-pack. We have Mama Leah, Mama Mina and Mama Yoga.
I have one more card to post tonight. This one is truly delightful with its whimsy and swirls. Created by Kevin of McCrafty's Cards. Check out his stuff!!
Wow, have I got a lot to share with you today. First and foremost, I am super excited to announce that the Digi Dancers five pack is now available in my shop! I didn't think I'd have that completed until the weekend! Disco seemed to be a big hit, so I hope you'll like the rest just as well.
I love, love, LOVE the newsprint background! Seeing cards and projects that folks make using MayzyArt stamps just gives me warm tingles all over. You guys are awsomely amazing and I'm sending out big smooches to all of you!!
I was finally able to update the shop this morning before heading out to work. For those interested, I have a 9 to 5 working as a counselor at a local college which shall remain nameless. I'm on the phone a lot, so that's when I do most of my stamp designing.
Today I posted numbers 4, 5 and 6 of my Cirque du Digi collection. It was, in part, inspired by the Natalie Merchant music video for "Kind and Generous." I absolutely loved it back when it first came out and the image of her as the human cannonball was really what drove me to draw all six of them. Check out the stamps below and, if you'd like to see the music video, go here: http://youtu.be/rdG618TMc5E
Also posted today was little Lorelei. I will be using her myself to make a birthday card later this week.
And I will leave you today with another beautiful card by the tremendously talented Lisa of Paper Craft Bliss using the 'Looks Like Rain Xandra' stamp.
