You Got A Friend In Me ... Toy Story Inspired Card for Lawn Fawnatics Guest Designer....

Hello everyone! Happy Monday!!! I am super HAPPY to be guest designing once again for the awesome Lawn Fawnatics Challenge Blog. The fun continues with this challenge, it is a three-week challenge. The theme is Interactive Cards. There are so many ways to create, and add interactive elements to your cards!! Lawn Fawn products make creating these types of cards super fun!!!

As you can imagine my family and I are huge Disney fans. I was inspired by the Toy Story movies and by two previous cards I had created before for these cards. These are based on Toy Story 1 and 2.

I used the awesome Magic Iris Die to add the interactive element to the first card.
I started by adding Salty Ocean Distress Ink to the backgrounds of "Andy's Room". The idea for this card is that Woody is reading Buzz, Hamm, Rex, Jesse, and of course the little alien a western-themed story. The Magic Iris opens up to reveal a sheriff's office in the wild west.

The stars for the background are from the Shadow Box Card Theatre Add-On set. I die cut them several times until the room looked the way I was hoping it would.  I added a bit of Mustard Seed Distress Oxide ink to give them just a little bit more color.

For the wood floor, I used the lightest wood color printed paper from the 6x6 Petite Knock On Wood Paper Pad from Lawn Fawn.  The howdy sentiment is from the Stuck On You stamp set. I heat embossed it onto red cardstock then added it to the card.

I had lots of fun coloring these little characters. "Woody" is from the Screen Time stamp set. "Buzz" is from the Out Of This World stamp set. "Rex" is from the RAWR set, "Hamm" is from Hay There, and the little alien is from Beam Me Up.

For the inside of the card, the scene is inspired by "Woody's Round-Up" tv show fromToy Story 2.
The idea is that as he is reading them the story he is imagining the scene from his show with the little critters. And the theme for Woody is "you have a friend in me"... That is the theme of this card.
I adore how they are all unique and yet they are great friends.

I used the Build A House die to create the Sheriff's office. I used the Stitched Woodgrain Backdrop die to die cut a piece of brown cardstock to create the wood walkway for this fun town.
I used the Stitched Mountain Borders to create the mountains for the scene, the hills are from the
Slimline Stitched Hillside Borders. I added Distress Ink in Rusty Hinge and Gathered Twigs to the mountains and hillsides, along with the base of the card.

For the third card, I used the awesome new Large Slimline with Sliders dies. The theme for this card is Pizza Planet. The You're Claw-some, How You Bean and Sweet Smiles stamps were perfect for this theme. The little mason jar of stars and the planet filled gumball machines are both shakers. The spaceship claw slides back and forth trying to get one of the adorable little aliens.

I hope you enjoyed this fun set of cards I created to share with you. I can't thank you enough for all of your support and encouragement! I am very grateful to have had this blessing of being a guest designer for the Lawn Fawnatics blog. Praying you all to have a wonderful and blessed day.

YAY!!! Guest Designing for Lawn Fawnatics!!!!

Hello everyone!!! Happy Monday!!
I am soo EXCITED...yes this call for all caps for the word excited, lol!!!
I am beyond grateful, happy, and honored to be a guest designer for the
It is such a blessing and a prayer answered!!!

As you may know by now I am a huge fan of Lawn Fawn.
I love their products. I always have so much fun creating with their stamps and dies.
For challenge #79 the theme is Interactive Cards.
This was such a great challenge for me to be part of.
One of my favorite types of cards to create are interactive ones.

I created a shaker pivot pop-up card. I truly had a blast creating it.

I began by die cutting the Stitched Pond Die four times,
the largest rectangle from the Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables die set four times, the pieces for the pivot pop up from the Pivot Pop-Up die,  the Stitched Wave Borders, and the mountains from the Shadow Box Card Mountain Add-On.  On one of the stitched rectangles that will be going on the inside of the card, I used the smallest circle from the Lift The Flap Circles dies to create an interactive window for the treasure chest. I also used the Stitched Woodgrain backdrop die to die cut two pieces of kraft card stock, from those I die cut four frames using the smallest frame from Say Cheese, Again.

Next, I added color to what would become my island. I die cut the maze onto the ponds using the
You can do that step after you add color,
I did it before so I can see what areas
I would like to be green and which areas were going to be brown for the sand.

I used Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, and Pine Needles Distress Oxide inks for green areas of the "island". I also used those colors for the mountains in the pivot scenes. For the base that would be seen of the islands, I used Cracked Pistachio and Peacock Feathers. For the sandy areas, I used Gathered Twigs and Ground Espresso Distress Inks. For the ocean areas, I used Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers, Blueprint Sketch, and Chipped Sapphire. Then I spritzed the layers with a bit of water, which is always lots of fun.

Next, I colored all of the images I would be using to create the islands, the underwater, and pivot window scenes. One of the things I love to do is go through the stamp sets and choose the images that will create the scenes that I am hoping for.

I used various sets, I will have them listed below. I used Copic markers to color these in. My favorite go-to combinations. For the green areas, I used G94, YG17, YG23, YG03, and YG01. For the brown areas, I used E49, E47, E44, and E43. For the yellow areas, I used Y19, Y08, Y11, and Y00.

I hope you enjoy the cards I created to share with you and hope you feel inspired to join us for the challenge, can't wait to see what everyone creates!
Hoping you each have a wonderful and blessed day.

Lawn Fawn Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs Theme...

Hello and happy Friday everyone!!
I am stopping by to share a fun card I created using lots of Lawn Fawn goodies.
I was inspired by the current Lawn Fawnatics challenge:

I can tell you that the cards the design team and all of the amazingly talented crafters out there have been creating are out of this world!!! There is endless inspiration!!!
As you know I am a huge Disney fan...and I would have jumped at the chance to create another Disney themed card for this challenge, but to be honest I wanted to try a different theme.
One of our favorite movies to watch is Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs.
I thought it would be great to use that theme for this challenge.

I began my card by going through my Lawn Fawn stamp sets to see what images I would be using.
I adore the new stamps from the newest release. The taco from the Year Nine set and the mini food images from the Plan On It: Meal Planning set were perfect for this theme.

I also had to use the Magic Picture Changer and Add-On Die sets for this card.
I LOVE this new interactive die!!!
I am hooked!!!

This truly was an easy and fun card to create!!
Lawn Fawn has a tutorial available for putting the Magic Changer together and it is super simple!!

I hope you enjoy the card I created to share with you today.
Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by!!
Wishing you a wonderful and blessed day.

Wishing You An Unforgettable Day...

Happy Thursday everyone!
I am stopping by today to share this set of cards I created inspired by
the current Lawn Fawnatics challenge. The theme is What Is The Weather?

For my cards, I used the adorable Elphie Selfie stamp set.
I intended to create a pull-up scene one showing a rainy day and the other a sunny one. Instead, I turned them into two separate cards.

I used Copic markers to color the images in.

To create the scene for each of the cards I used the Lawn Fawn Puffy Cloud Borders, Grassy Borders, and Simple Stitched Hillside Borders dies.

I added Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Inks to the hills and grass.

For the cloudy sky, I used the Lawn Fawn Hippo Ink along with the Puffy Clouds Border Die to create the background.

For the sunny sky, I used Broken China and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inks.

I hope you enjoy and feel inspired to create.
Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by!
Wishing you a wonderful and blessed day.

Lawn Fawnatics What's The Weather Challenge?

Hello and happy Monday everyone.
I am stopping by today to share a card I created using
lots of Lawn Fawn adorable images.  For my card, I was inspired by the previous
Lawn Fawnatics challenge (love the colors from the color challenge) and the current challenge which is: What's The Weather?

I began by coloring my images in using Copic markers. The sweet little flower girl image is from the
Easter Party stamp set. The flowers are from the Gleeful Gardens, and Fairy Friends sets. And the sun is from the Out Of This World and the clouds from the Starry Backdrops set.

The sentiment from the Some Bunny stamp set is one of my all time favorites!!

I added Distress Ink Oxides to the backgrounds.
I used Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, Picked Raspberry, Seedless Preserves and Wilted Violet.
I also added a bit of Spiced Marmalade.

This was such a fun set to create. I hope you enjoy.
Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by.
