Well, last week at LOC we had one 'For the Girls' so this week it's the boys turn! Think of the guys in your life and create something for one of them. Mainstream or LOC it's up to you!
Our Sponsor this week is Rick St Dennis and I've used the 'Freddie Fullmoon' image for my card. My DP and the 'Little Spooks' sentiment are from the DCWV Eek-a-Boo Stack. The film strips and gate die cuts where made on my Cameo.

12 Days of Creepmas Day 11 with Rick St Dennis
Welcome to the 12 Days of
Creepmas! This is a blog hop run by the girls at Smeared Ink
and you will find the Blog Roll on my side
bar for the duration of the hop. If you have just arrived at
me and want to see what it's all about visit Terra (the hostess) at More Smeared Ink and follow the rules to be in with a chance to win! If you are hopping, you should have arrived here from Black Dragon and Teresa is your next stop!
Today I am sharing the reverse side of my Creepmas Fat Page for the Smeared and Smudged Swap for December. I have used the Creepmas Girl image from Rick St Dennis, coloured with Promarkers and fussy cut. I've used a technique that I learned during the 31 Days of Halloween blog hop from a post by Paper Whims. The technique involves spreading Dylusions inks on a craft sheet and placing the paper onto it to transfer the pattern. I've printed a sentiment using Word on the PC and my corner die is from Memory Box. I've finished with a black ribbon.

Craftwork Cards Country Charm Papers
Tonight I have been having a play about with some papers from Craftwork Cards recent 4 Day Deal on Create & Craft TV. The deal was 4 mini paper pads and a few other bits and I've used the Country Charm pad this evening.
The first card I've made uses an image from Rick St Dennis - Strange Doll - available at his Zibbet shop. I have coloured the image using Promarkers and coloured pencils and edged the papers in Warm Honey DI. The faux stitching was added using the fine nib on a black promarker. The small heart die cuts are from the Die Cut pad included in the deal.
I will enter my RSD card into the following challenges -
Sparkle and Glitter with Rick - Progressive Challenge September
A Creative Need - September Texture/Pattern
My second card this evening uses an image and sentiment from Create with TLC. This is for a current progressive challenge they have going on at their blog. I have coloured the vintage house using promarkers and pencils and again used the Country Charm papers. I've edged them here with a pearlescent pink small Brilliance ink pad and finished with some layered die cut flowers also from a previous Craftwork Cards wreath kit.
Thanks for looking!

Well, this is a first for me in a while! This is a just for fun, Sunday afternoon lazing in the craft room post! Over on the Kit and Clowder Facebook Group, there are some celebratory challenges going on and I am sharing my entry for the Rick St Dennis Colouring challenge. I have grabbed my freebie - Zephyr McBroom and coloured her up with Promarkers and coloured pencils for this challenge.
I have used brand new JilliBean Soup Papers called 'Owloween Stew' and lots of black card for matting. The layout is from the current Sketch challenge at Polkadoodles and the embellishments are from my stash. I've finished with some Peacock Feathers DI around the image and card edges.
I will be entering this card in the following challenges:

Challenge #9 at A Step in the Dark - Anything Goes/Steampunk
I am loving being on the team at A Step in the Dark! Fabulous teamies, fabulous sponsors and fabulous images and a chance to get my dark side on more often. Today is no exception and this fortnight we have 3 sponsors for you... so I have three projects to show you!!
First up is the first time I have worked with the Oddball Art Co. and hopefully not the last time - the images are just the perfect mix of cute and creepy. I have used the Fairy Bat Girl Image No 69 and coloured her in promarkers. I have used a background paper from an old set by Hot Off the Press and finished the card with some diecuts and a sentiment sticker from Pebbles inc.
I will enter this card in the following challenges -
Oddball Art Co Challenge - Non-Traditional Hair Colours
Little Red Wagon - Girl Power
Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Wonderful Wednesday
My next creation uses Jarrod by Rick St Dennis - this is a Steampunk image and that's the optional twist at this new challenge. Again my trusty Promarkers have been used with some Vintage Photo DI to age the background of the image. I have used Graphic 45 Steampunk Spells papers with dies from Tim Holtz and Joy Crafts.
I will enter this card in the following challenges:
7Kids College Fund - Anything Goes with Dies
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
Finally, The Stamping Chef are also sponsoring us this week and I have used a new image called Bungle Bunny. My paper is Authentique (I think!) and I've added Black Soot DI to the image and some die cuts to finish.
I will enter this Stamping Chef card at the following challenges:
The Stamping Chef - #44 Anything Goes
Inky Impressions - #174 Anything Goes
Scrapper's Delights - #30 Anything Goes
Thanks for looking!

Rick St Dennis at Crafting By Designs
I am delighted to be hosting the new challenge this week at Crafting By Designs! We have the amazing Rick St Dennis as a sponsor this week and I have chosen the theme of 'Hats'. Now this doesn't mean you have to make a hat... although you could if you wanted! Rick has some fabulous images of ladies in hats from decades gone by and I thought it would be great to see the team use some of those hatted ladies.
I have used one of Rick's images that I won from I Brake for Stamps last year through a Blog Hop Competition. She is called Wicked Wanda and I have coloured her with Promarkers in colours to match the Graphic 4 Steampunk Spells papers which I thought would be fabulous with her! The 'Something Wicked this way Comes' motif is cut from one of the 8x8 papers. I have used black pearlescent paper for layering and matt black card for die cutting. The bats are from my stash. The Scaredy Cat and Weather Clock are both Tim Holtz for Sizzix Alterations.
I will enter this card in the following challenges:

Skeletons and Secrets at PunkyouGirl
The PunkyouGirl challenge for July is 'Skeletons and Secrets' and I am here today with my midway project for the challenge! I have used an image from Rick St Dennis which you can find in his Zibbet Shop here! The image is called 'Smilin Joe Skull with Roses' and I have coloured him with Promarkers.
I created the background for the card using background stamps from the Smeared Ink 'Quoth the Raven' set, these were stamped in Versamark and heat embossed with clear powder. I then covered the card with Fired Brick, Faded Jeans, Vintage Photo and Black Soot distress inks creating a resist effect with the stamps.
I have added two Spellbinders die cut spiders. The top border is the 'Twigs' On the Edge die and the bottom border is the 'Graveyard' On the Edge die both from Tim Holtz for Sizzix. The card is finished with a black ribbon.
I will enter this in the following challenges:
Fairytale Challenge - #96 DigiStamp super challenge
Sister Act Card Challenge - #66 Anything Goes
Charisma Cardz Challenge - #15 Anything Goes

666 The Number of the Beast!
My hubby is a huge Iron Maiden fan and when I saw the name of the latest challenge at Haunted Design House I knew I had to play along. But it went further down my 'to do' list as the week went on and with only a few hours to spare, here's my card for the challenge!
I have used the Beastly Paper Pack from Delicious Doodles and the Rick St Dennis image 'Amulet'. The main image is coloured using Promarkers with extra detailed added using my WH Smith blendable pencils. The image is fussy cut and mounted on black pearlescent paper. The sentiments are printed from Word and inked with Fired Brick and Black Soot.
I printed out the rams head background paper and sections from the two other papers in the pack. On the background I used my Promarkers and blew on the thick end of the pen to create a splattered effect in various colours. I've done the same on the 666 spirals. The rams head in the corner, sentiments and '666'paper behind the main sentiment have been tinted/edged with Fired Brick and Black Soot DI too. I've added some black web ribbon to finish.
The more I look at the card photo here - I wish I'd cut down the '666' sentiment a bit smaller but I didn't want to lose the font! And it's too dark here now to take another photo!
I will enter this in the following challenges:
Haunted Design House - 666 The Number of the Beasts
613 Avenue Create - #78 Anything Goes
Ditzie Digi Designs - Anything Goes
Lacy Sunshine - #36 Anything Goes
The Corrosive Challenge - #202 Colour me Happy (I love my Promarkers!!)

Left of Center 'Use Metal' with Rick St Dennis
Today is the very last fortnightly challenge at Left of Center.... watch this space!!! The theme for this fortnight is 'Use Metal' and we are delighted to be sponsored by Rick St Dennis.
I managed to enter last month's new challenge on the Sparkle and Glitter with Rick blog from Rick St Dennis and as a reward for doing so, had the joy of receiving the You're A Winner - Nyner the Little Monster image to use for this month's part of the Steampunk Challenge. So this is a bit of a double post!
I had a blast colouring up this little monster using my Promarkers and then added Vintage Photo, Mowed Lawn and Black Soot distress inks to the background and edges of the image.
I have used the Do Crafts Chronology papers for the background of the card and edged them with more Black Soot and Vintage Photo DIs. The black gears are Tim Holtz and the card is finished with black sticky pearls. The metal element to the card - although it could be a LOC entry! - is a brad in the bottom right corner. This says 'happy' on it and I have a few of these with different words that have been in my stash for a while - if anyone knows who made it, please let me know!!
I will enter this in the following challenges -
Sparkle and Glitter With Rick - Steampunk Progressive Challenge
A Step in the Dark - #4 Anything Goes
Time4Scrap - #41 Anything Goes

Steampunk Peg!
I have another quick card for you today. I got this fabulous Rick St Dennis image from his Randi Dandi line at I Brake For Stamps as a prize during the 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop last year and love her! I've used her a few times and thought that she would be perfect for the current Progressive Challenge over at Sparkle and Glitter The RSD EDT Blog.
I have kept the card simple, the challenge is almost over and I didn't want to miss it! (This has been on my to do list all month!) I coloured her with Promarkers and inked the edges with Black Soot. I have used Graphic 45 Steampunk Spells papers (8x8 and 6x6) and layered them up with black pearlescent paper. The Cogs are from a Tim Holtz Sizzix Bigz Die and the senitiment is Craftwork Cards (layered on a cog!).
I will enter this card in the following challenges:
Sparkle and Glitter With Rick - Steampunk
The Corrosive Challenge - #200 Celebration Anything Goes
Crafty Creations - #284 It's All About the S - (Steampunk Theme, Steampunk Spells papers)
Paper Pretties Wednesday Challenge - #312 Masculine
The Paper Shelter - #160 Make it Manly

'Thank You' at Crafting by Designs
The fabulous Rick St Dennis is our sponsor this week at Crafting by Designs where our new theme is 'Thank you'! I have used the cute little Tworki image that you can find at Rick's Zibbet shop online.
I've coloured the image with promarkers and added Mowed Lawn DI to the edges of the image. I've layered up some papers from my stash with dark pink card. I've used a Cheery Lynn corner die and Die-namics swirl die to embellish and finished with a Craftwork Cards sentiment.

Steampunk Challenge at PunkyouGirl
Time for a new challenge at PunkyouGirl and this month's theme is Steampunk!
I have used the Steampunk Peg image by Rick St Dennis available at I Brake for Stamps.
I have coloured her up with Promarkers and gone with a turquoise and orange colour scheme to match my Graphic 45 Steampunk Spells 8x8 paper pad that I used for the background. I love this paper and haven't used much of it so thought I'd just get in there and start cutting! I've layered the elements with black pearlescent papers and die cut some cogs from the same paper. I finished with some black head pins and rolled roses with black Stickles for a sparkle.
Thanks for looking, I hope you'll join us for our dark themed, Steampunk challenge!

Rick St Dennis Sponsoring Crafting By Designs too!
Another wee post from me today. This is also the start of a new challenge at Crafting By Designs and another one sponsored by the fabulous Rick St Dennis! The challenge this week is Anything Goes with a Christmas theme!
I have made a Christmas card using the Happy Elf Snooze image by RSD and used a layout from the Sunday Stamps Challenge Blog. I have used some red and green card, the Sizzix Swiss Dots embossing folder and some strips of Christmas papers. I've coloured the image with promarkers, added gold Stickles to the jingly bells on the image and liquid pearls around the edge of the card. With a little help from my 2yo the dots aren't perfect but I just didn't have time to start again! Please dont hold that against me!
Here is the sketch - I have turned it on its side and added a sentiment.
Thanks for looking! Come and join us at the Crafting by Designs challenge this week for a chance to win images from Rick St Dennis!

Rick St Dennis Sponsoring the Crafters Cafe Challenge Blog!
Hi folks, today's post is for the Crafters Cafe Challenge Blog and what a thrill, this week we are sponsored by the fabulous Rick St Dennis. The theme this week is 'You can never have too many embellishements'! This was a challenge for me, my style has always been very plain and simple and I find it hard to load on the embellies without the card looking like a riot!
I was working with the Creepmas Dark Angel Sauvage image and have made a 6x6 square card. I used Kaisercraft papers and an embossing folder to emboss some clocks onto the pearlescent black card to match the paper. I have added a black web type lace behind the image and some black lace ribbon down the left side of her. I've then layered up paper flowers with buttons, mulberry paper roses in purple and black, a seam binding bow and some black and crystal head pins. There are self adhesive black pearls in the corners also.
The image is coloured using promarkers and layered on black pearl paper. And the sentiment is Craftwork Cards with some dusty concord distress ink to match.
Thanks for looking!
Hope you will join our heavily embellished challenge this week, see you there!

Creepy Halloween at Left of Centre Challenge Blog
Ooooh! It's almost Halloween, not long to go, I hope you have your costumes ready! Today we have a 'creepy halloween' challenge beginning at Left of Centre Challenge Blog and we are delighted to be sponsored by Rick St Dennis and his fabulous array of images.
I have chosen his rendition of the Silent Hill Nurse and kept my card pretty simple. Some designer papers from My Mind's Eye and Vintage Photo distress ink along with a seam binding bow and metal embellishment are all I've added. I reckon the image is pretty freaky without adding extra to the card.
I hope you will join us this week for a creepy halloween, enjoy the night when it comes!

The image is coloured with Promarkers with some Star Dust Stickles to accent the dress. I also added some Dusty Concord distress ink around the edges of the damask paper.

The Crafters Cafe Challenge #31 A Bit Out There...
Time for the latest weekly challenge at The Crafters Cafe Challenge Blog and this week we are sponsored by Rick St Dennis so the results might be a bit different from what you would normally expect at the Crafters Cafe! The theme is 'A bit out there' and I have gone with a Halloween theme - check out the rest of the design team for their take on it!
I had the privilege of working with the 'Warlock' image from Rick St Dennis which you can find in his Etsy shop and I have coloured mine using Promarkers finishing the image with some Vintage Photo distress ink around the edges to match the papers. I have used two papers from the My Mind's Eye 'Lost & Found Halloween' paper pad and some printable Halloween ephemera from Tsunami Rose Designs. The ribbon in the corner is actually a halloween hair bow that I took off its clip - this was a pack of four found in Pound World!
And a wee close up of the Warlock. I've backed everything with pearlescent black paper and finished the card with some black pearls.
I will enter this card into the following challenges -
Cuttin and Stampin Challenges - Halloween
Creative Craft Challenges 2 - Anything Goes #20
2 Creative Chicks - October Halloween
Country View Crafts Challenge Blog - October Halloween
Emergency Crafters Challenge - Halloween
Seema Crafts Challenge - Fall Colours

The Stamping Boutique - Challenge #66 Halloween
Haunted Design House - Dimensional Halloween
Created With Love Challenges - #60 Halloween
Thanks for looking! Why not join us for this week's challenge and show us what is 'a bit out there' for you!
