Cards for Guys at Crafting By Designs

Good morning! I hope you are all well! I've been up and down to the hospital like a yo-yo with my eldest son - he broke his arm in a freak fence climbing incident and needed to have pins put in. Hoping he'll be home later today and I can get some crafty stuff done! But first, here's this week's Crafting By Designs project.
Our theme this week is 'Masculine' and I have used the 'Boxing Gloves' image from Oak Pond Designs, one of our sponsors. I have coloured this with Promarkers and pencil and fussy cut the image. My papers and sentiment are from Craftwork Cards. The oval is a Spellbinders die and I've finished with some candi.

Silver and White Challenge at Crafting By Designs

Morning! It's time for a new challenge at Crafting by Designs and this week it's a colour challenge... an easy one! Silver and White is the theme and I have gone Christmassy for my card. I have chosen a Christmas Holly image from Oak Pond Creations, one of this week's sponsors and coloured it minimally with pencils.
I have fussy cut the image and mounted on a silver oval. The card base is a fancy edged card from Craftwork Cards as are the sentiment and bow. The die cut corners are from Memory Box and I've used silver holographic card throughout. I have finished by adding white dots of Uniball Signo pigment ink to the berries and clear Wink of Stella to the white ribbon.

Think Warm Spring Thoughts!

It's blooming cold! So, cheer up and think warm happy thoughts with our new challenge at Crafting by Designs this week. We are sponsored by Oak Pond Creations and I have used their very cheerful 'Sunflowers' image to create a card. I have used a shaped C5 card and highlighted the scallops with platinum Liquid Pearls. The sentiment and papers are from Craftwork Cards - the Tea Dance and Colourwash collections - and I've finished the card with some yellow organza ribbon. The image is coloured as usual with Promarkers.

I hope you can join our challenge this week!
