WELCOME TO OUR HOME!

I am by no means an interior stylist or an interior photographer, so these photos are not the best quality.  But I wanted to give you a peek inside our 950 square foot condo.  We moved here just over a year ago and it's finally beginning to feel like home.  Since I'm home a great majority of the time not feeling too great, I wanted a place that was calming and relaxing and included elements of nature.  I still have several more rustic pieces I want to add and I plan on doing a water color painting and putting up a few more of my photos, but for now I'm enjoying the peace and calm our little home provides.

I'd love to hear you thoughts.  :)  xoxo

Welcome to our home!!

For more of my Instagram photos, you can follow me HERE.  :)

Happy Monday!  Hope you have a great start to your new week.  :)  Just thought I'd post a few photos of our home that I took with Instagram.  I'm having so much fun decorating our condo and it's really starting to feel like home!

When we moved about 8 months ago from a small town and our antique 1918 Craftsman Bungalow, it was a very hard adjustment.  We had lived there for 13 years and had so many beautiful memories (along with some sad/difficult ones, too).  I really love old homes and it was quite a change moving from a big country home into a tiny modern apartment.  I'm still adjusting, honestly, but know there are so many positives to living here.  I have MS so the size is definitely more manageable for me, we have a beautiful view of Lake Washington (I thought I could never love a view as much as I loved the one from our old-fashioned country porch), and there's so many exciting things to do when you're nestled in the heart of a small city!

I'll post more photos soon (and better quality photos than these), but here's a sneak peak of our home so far!  I'm going for a modern/rustic look.  I figured a "modern/rustic" look would remind me of our old home but be updated enough for our new one.  :)

I'd love to hear your feedback if you have a second to leave a comment below!  xo
