Yeah yeah yeah ini memang dreams come true. Dah lama aku angan2 nak tengok FF live depan mata. Ini band aku follow dari awal hingga sekarang. Tak dapat tengok NIRVANA (R.I.P) dapat tgk former line up Dave Grohl & Pat Smear pon jadilah.

Macam tak percaya, balik check kat FB ramai dah "tag", bukak web FF memang konfem, bukak sistic absolutely konfem. Tengah berkira2 budget ( tix bus, tix show & misc ) ingat ujung bulan ni baru dapat beli tiket. Dah ada 2 member nak join sekali. Insyallah moga dipermudahkan urusan. AMIN.

Alasan utama untuk menonton filem ini adalah bukan kerana Scarlett Johansson tapi penulis & pengarahnya; Cameron Crowe. Ditulis berdasarkan memoir Benjamin Mee dimana ianya mengisahkan beliau & keluarganya membeli sebuah zoo yang hampir bankrup dengan menggunakan semua duit simpanan mereka & membina semula zoo berkenaan. Emm menarikkan ? lagi satu citer ni citer pasal binatang2, pasti aksi2 nakal, lucu & comel menarik perhatian. Lagi satu sountrack filem ni ditulis oleh Jonsi anggota group post-rock dari Iceland, Sigur Ros.(kena masuk list cd yang bakal dibeli 2012 ni ha5)

Metallica Already Planning Ways to Make Fans Forget 'Lulu'

Metallica's collaborative release with Lou Reed, Lulu, doesn't come out until October 31, but the metal moguls have already started their next album, the follow-up to 2008's Death Magnetic, bassist Robert Trujillo told Gulf News.

"We've been busy writing and recording," Trujillo says. "We've got a couple of new songs we have been working on the past couple of weeks. The writing process for the new Metallica album has begun. We've been in the studio with Rick Rubin, working on a couple of things, and we're going to be recording during the most of next year. We've got a lot of work ahead of us."

Depending on who you believe, Metallica's joint effort with the former Velvet Underground frontman could represent an unintended consequence of media democratization, the latest experimental indulgence from a band perpetually at war with itself, or an unlistenable dartboard for music criticism. Regardless, its distended riffs and vinegary poetry appear unlikely to resurface on another Metallica album. "For me, personally, Death Magnetic was the launch pad for the next record," Trujillo says. "This is the beginning of something very, very cool."

In the meantime, you can stream Lulu here. Loutallica kick off a string of European TV appearances on November 8 with a performance on the BBC's Later... With Jools Holland.

Dulu masa tgk kasut sneakers nike tu memang berangan jer..agak2 ada tak kasut tu kat masa depan. Akhirnya Nike lancarkan kasut tu NIKE MAG. Aku suka giler ah yippie.. Pearl Jam: Rarities, Live Songs on Doc Soundtrack

Now this is reason to celebrate Pearl Jam's 20th anniversary: The veteran Seattle band just released the official tracklist for their soundtrack to Twenty, a documentary film about the quintet directed by Cameron Crowe (Almost Famous, Singles), and it's loaded with goodies.

Split over two discs, the Twenty compilation features 15 live recordings (on disc one) and 15 B-sides, demos, and rarities (on disc two) that spans the band's career. It's scheduled to drop stateside on September 20, the same day the documentary premieres in movie theatres nationwide.

Before the movie and soundtrack's release, a book featuring a foreword by Crowe as well as interviews with Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young, and Dave Grohl, among others, will drop on September 12.

Among Twenty's special treats is "Crown of Thorns," a track originally written and performed by Mother Love Bone, the late '80s Seattle band that included future PJ bassist Jeff Ament and guitarist Stone Gossard. Recorded at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on October 22, 2000.

update : Krist Novoselic Leading 'Nevermind' Tribute Show

With the twentieth anniversary of Nirvana's Nevermind next month, bassist Krist Novoselic is leading a tribute concert in Seattle on September 20. According to local radio station 107.7 The End, Novoselic will be one of the artists to perform the full record and will be joined by bands like the Fastbacks, the Long Winters, Visqueen, Campire OK, Valis (featuring members of Screaming Trees), and others to be announced soon. Dave Grohl will most likely not be joining — he's scheduled for a Foo Fighters show in Cleveland that night.

The event will take place at the Experience Music Project's Sky Church. Tickets, which are available here, will cost $15 for members and $20 for non-members of the museum. In addition to the show being a celebration of the record, it will also raise money for Susie Tennant, who worked with the band at labels Sub Pop and Geffen and is currently battling cancer.

As SPIN previously reported, Universal will release a deluxe reissue of the record on September 27. The set includes a remastered version, alternate mixes, live recordings, and studio rarities, including the Devonshire Mixes — the album as originally mixed and produced by Butch Vig.

For the first time, 1991: The Year Punk Broke will finally make its debut on DVD on September 6, 2011. All footage has been fully restored with audio re-synced and remastered in uncompressed PCM stereo under the supervision of Sonic Youth.

Filmed a month prior to the release of their breakthrough album Nevermind,1991: The Year Punk Broke also includes footage of Nirvana unknowingly on the cusp of leading a massive cultural movement as they performed “Smells Like Teen Spirit,“ “Polly” and “Negative Creep.” Also featured is Dinosaur Jr.’s live versions of “Freak Scene” and “The Wagon” and Babes In Toyland’s brutal performance of “Dustcake Boy” . 1991: The Year Punk Broke is also packed with 65 minutes of bonus material, including the previously unreleased featurette “(This Is Known As) The Blues Scale” featuring over 40 minutes of additional live footage of Sonic Youth performing “White Kross,” “Eric’s Trip,” “Chapel Hill” and “Inhuman” plus a rare Nirvana performance of “In Bloom.” Other extras include live rough cuts of “Mote” and “Flower,” the original movie trailer, and “Broken Punk” — a 2003 panel discussion Sonic Youth’s Thurston Moore, Steve Shelley and Lee Ranaldo, Dinosaur Jr.’s J.
