Punch it out at WhoopsiDaisy

Good morning peeps!

It`s monday morning and we are ready with a new challenge over at WhoopsiDaisy. The theme this time is:
Punch it out. 


For my card today i have used an image from sheet #418. The punched butterflies are from a Martha Stewart punch.


Colours used are:

Skin: Vanilla, Saffron, Oatmeal, Sunkissed pink, Tan
Hair: Cocoa, Mustard, Buttercup
Top: Pumkin, Gold, Sunflower, Canary
Trousers: Rose pink, Baby pink, Pink mittens
Shoes: Cocoa, Caramel, Tan
Background: Grey Squirrel, Warm grey#1, Almond, Satin, Muted pink


Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts as well as the ribbon and lace. All papers are from Bearly Mine Designs. And dies are from Spellbinders and Memorybox.

Below you can check out my new gorgeous chipboard corners which i have ordered from Make It Crafty. I was so surprised when i recieved it. I had anticipated it would take at least 14 days to get it, but the mail service has really done a fast and great job. It only took 8 days from Australia to Norway. 


I painted it with gesso and put on some stickles chrystal. Isn`t it beautiful? Well, i love it anyway, lol.

Make it girlie at WhoopsiDaisy

Good morning everyone!

A new week is in front of us and that means a new challenge over at WhoopsiDaisy. The theme set this time is "Make it girlie"!

For my card today i have used an image from sheet #420, available here in the WhoopsiDaisy shop. This little ballerina is just so adorable. My card is quite CAS this time. I havent used a lot of embellies course i just wanted the pic and the paper to stand out. The paper is so beautiful in itself. It is a digipaper from Astrid`s Artisitc Efforts. I absolutely love her work.


The colours used are:

Skin:
Vanilla, Saffron, Oatmeal, Sunkissed pink, Tan

Hair:
Burnt umber, Shale, Burgundy, Terracotta

Dress:
Twilight sky, Polar blue, April shower

Other colours:
Olive green, Pear green, Winter berry, Lilac, Pink carnation

The papers are from the new Halloween collection over at Bearly Mine Designs. It is called Happy Hauntings. This is a collection with loads of fabulous designs.


For me this is a fairly CAS card. I`ve not used a lot of embellies as i usually do. I think the papers in themselves were so decorative that i couldn`tfind anything to complement them with, so i just had to let the card stay this way, lol.

Spring to life by Hannah Lynn

Hey everyone!

I just wanted to show you my latest creation using a Hannah Lynn image called "Spring to life".  I think she is absolutely stunning! I seem to be in a pastel period at the moment, lol, course i have made a lot of creations lately, using pastels. Maybe it is the bad weather affecting me as i just want to see summery colours.


The colours i have used are:

Hair:
Cocoa, Mustard, Pastel yellow, Buttercup

Skin:
Vanilla, Saffron, Oatmeal, Tan, Sunkissed pink

Wings:
Soft mauve (FM), Purple, Orchid, Bright green, Lime zest, Aniseed (FM) Rose pink, Antique pink

Clothes:
Gold, Sunflower, Buttercup
Other colours:
Umber, Warm grey #4+5, Lush, Emeral green, Cocoa, Slate,

My first KennyK challenge as DT

Hey peeps!

Finally has the day arrived. The new team are ready with a new challenge. As you might have noticed we are no longer the Krafty Girlz. Our name has changed to KennyK`s Krafty Krew. For the simple reason that we have a couple of guys with us. And i`m sure you will LUV their creations just as much as i do.

I am so honoured and humble to get to be working with this amazingly talented team and i hope i can live up to their reputation as awsome colourists. Well...enough rambling, lol. Before i get to my card we have some awesome prizes up for grabs.

Now, over to my very first card for this awesome team.

The challenge set this time is Raise your flag. We want to see the colours of your country`s flag on your creation. As i am from Norway my colours are red, white and blue. Therefor i thought this image was perfect for my creation. It is called Fourth of July and is available here.


The colours i have used are:

Skin:
Vanilla, Saffron, Oatmeal, Tan and Sunkissed pink for cheeks

Hair:
Walnut, Terracotta, Spice, Honeycomb

Outfit:
French navy, True blue, Sky blue, Burgundy, Berry red, Lipstick red


Of course i had to make pins in red white and blue too, lol. All papers are from Bearly Mine Designs and the ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons. Buttons are from own stash. I have also used one of the new dies from Spellbinders called Floral Ovals, available here.


That`s all from me today. I really hope you like my card. I think it is difficult to create something with these colours but i actually think i made it work this time, lol. Or maybe it`s just me hahaha. Well...anyway, i think you have to visit the rest of the team too. I`m sure they are just as nervous as i am. So a little sugar will go a long way, lol. Challenge #88 Pearls and Roses
