Valentines at Crafty Purple Frog

Hey Peeps!

Just a quick note to show you my DT sample for the Crafty Purple Frog Challenge. I`m off to Røros with my girls. We are having a all girl weekend without hubbys and kids, celebrating yet another 40th birthday. So this is going to be so much fun.

I have made another mini card using the pyramage sheet called Field of Poppies. Available here. Sorry about the bad bic. I was in a hurry to get it finished. I will take a new one on sunday, when i get home.

CAS at Phindy`s Place

Hey sweet crafters!

We are ready with another challenge over at Phindy`s Place. This time we want to see CAS cards. For those of you that doesn`t know what CAS stands for, it means Clean and Simple. This means we don`t want to see much embellies or too many layers on your creation. The vocal point has to be the image.

For my card today i have chosen to use an image called Cupid Bubbles and is available right here. He is just soooo adorable. I just love these Phindy images because they are so great to colour. For me this challenge is sooo difficult because i looove to put a lot of embellies on my creations. I really stink at doing CAS cards. I think i might have gone a bit overboard with this one but i couldn`t help myself, lol. Sorry about that, lol.

 

The colours i have used are:

Skin:

Vanilla, Saffron, Oatmeal, Tan, (sunkissed pink for cheeks)

Hair:

Cocoa, Pastel yellow, Buttercup

Other colours:

Red, Pastel blue

I have used papers from a Norvegian company called PapirDesign. I think they are truly gorgeous.I have also put some glossy accent on the hearts to make them look a bit glasslike like real soap bubles.

Cupid Cutie in black and white

Hey Everyone!

It`s soon to be weekend, and we are ready for a new challenge over at Phindy`s Place. This time we are going for creations in black and white. It is allowed with some colour in the image though.


For my creation this time i have made a round card. And i really like the way it turned out. I think the image is soooo cute. It is called Cupid Cutie and you can find it here, in Phindy`s online store.


We are doing some exciting changes over at Phindy`s Place. The first friday each month we are having Phabulous Phindy Phriday! This is an anything goes challenge, BUT you MUST use a Phindy image to enter, and you can make anything you want. You can also combine it with as many other challenges as you want. Isn`t it exciting?


So now you have plenty of time to make a creation for the first in every month. We really look forward to see a lot of Phindy creations.

Hos Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge har jeg funnet denne skissen som jeg har brukt til kortet mitt. Som noen av dere kanskje har fått med dere så er dette en av mine favoritt utfordringsblogger og jeg prøver å være med så ofte jeg kan.

At Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge i have found this sketch that i have used for my card. As some of you might know, this is one of my favourite challengeblogs and i try to make a submission as often as i can.


Jeg har brukt to av Linnie`s digi-bilder til dette kortet. Det ene er det store hjertet som jeg blåst opp og deretter har jeg montert de to søte kaninene med 3D-puter oppå hjertet. Jeg har også punchet ut en hvit kant som jeg har limt fast bak hjertet for å få det til å vises bedre. Her har jeg brukt en Martha Stewart Doily lace edge punch. Bildene er fargelagt med ProMarkers.

I have used two of Linnie`s digi-images for this card. The first one is the big heart which i have enlarged and then added the cute bunnies on top of it with 3D couchins. I have also punched out a white edge that i have glued behind the heart to make it pop a bit more. I have used the Martha Stewart Doily lace edge punch. The images are coloured with ProMarkers.

Kortet mitt denne gang er laget ved hjelp av skissen fra Fussy and Fancy. Jeg har endelig klart å få tak i Fairy flora papirene fra Prima og de er sååååå fine. Så derfor ble det et kort med et par av disse papirene. Den store blomsten kommer fra The Girls Paperie og resten av blomstene kommer fra Kort og Godt. Bildet er fargelagt med ProMarkers.

This time my card is made by the sketch provided by Fussy and Fancy. Finally i have managed to get the hold of Prima`s Fairy flora collection and it is soooo nice. So this card is made by a couple of these. The big flower is from The Girls Paperie and the rest of them are from Kort og Godt. The image is coloured with ProMarkers.

Roseknoppene kommer fra Kort og Godt. Disse har jeg brukt distress ink på for å få den fargen jeg var ute etter. Fargen er aged mahogany.

The rosebuds is from Kort og Godt. On these i have used distress ink to get the colour i wanted. The colour is aged mahogany.
