Love Knots =)

This little neckwarmer have been finished for some weeks... - but here it is! It`s crocheted up with Love knots and Kid Seta Print from Madil Yarns.
It weighs only 11 grams! =)

A Cabled Neckwarmer With mono-made Buttons! =)

I had a little left-over of this yummy yarn - about 63 grams - and decided to make a little gift of it. This little Cabled Neckwarmer in Alpaca With A Twist is going in the mail tomorrow. =)

This is the first project where I use the buttons I made during the fall. I am not sure what type of wood it is - it is collected in my back yard.

The neckwarmer and buttons are both designed by me. *yey*

Finally, I found the time to knit wristwarmers for myself! =)

Not that I don`t have plenty, of course..., but I wanted to make my lovely set in Sublime Angora-Merino complete! <3

In January I knitted the beautiful hat Rose Red designed by Ysolda Teague. I loved it so much I also designed a matching neckwarmer. And for two months now, I have used this set almost every day, while my inner knitter has tried to work out just how I want the matching wristwarmers to look. *lol*

It was obvious that it had to have the big cable from the Rose hat, but that was all I knew... Untill I saw the beautiful Yummy Mummy Wristwarmers designed by Alexandra Brinck, on tesha`s blog and on Ravelry. But after I looked at the pattern, I saw that there had to be lots of changes to make this fit my DK-weight yarn... And I didn`t want the twisted ribbing and the slipped stitches, and the cables were too small... So I ended up using the idea with the two big cables (over 7 stitches) in the middle and the two smaller cables (over 3 stitches) on the sides of the front - and a thumb gusset. That`s it. *lol*

And here`s the result! <3











Not the best pictures, I`m afraid, but they`ll have to do. I put a cardboard-figure I cut out to "fill" the glove in the right wristwarmer - so that you better can see how it looks on the hand. =)
I am quite pleased with them, but if I make another pair, I will make the thumb gusset differently and less enormous... *lol*

PS! It just struck me - is the correct word for these perhaps fingerless gloves and not wristwarmers? They *do* have a thumb... Hm...

Romance in the air? <3

Da var jeg endelig ferdig med nok en bestilling. Denne gang var ønsket pannebånd til å ha under luggen og som skulle være max 6 cm bredt... Jeg har leita etter passende oppskrift uten hell, så da måtte jeg jo forsøke å designe et selv... *ler*

Jeg har aldri laget pannebånd av denne typen før, så det ble litt pussling... Jeg syntes også at 6 cm ble litt for smalt til å dekke ørene, så jeg videt det litt ut akkurat der... *hihihi*

Her er i hvertfall resultatet - så får vi krysse fingre, labber og tær for at det passer mottakeren... *holde pusten*

Frysepinnen lurte på om jeg hadde noe hals-greier han kunne bruke på det iskalde lageret på jobben. Der passer det så dårlig med et lang skjerf... Da måtte vi selvsagt diske opp en litt større utgave av Flette-Thermisen! Har fått flere rapporter i løpet av dagen, om at halsen funker bra som f@en! Da blir man glad! =)

Han har allerede et par pulsvarmere i sort Kauni han bruker hver dag - men nå er det absolutt på tide at han får et par i deilig alpakka, også! =)

My boyfriend was tired of being freezing-cold at work everyday, and asked me if I could make a neckwarmer for him. Of course!! =)

Here is the result - a bit larger Cabled "Thermis" to fit a mans neck, knitted in two strands thin alpaca from Drops.

Pattern: Cabled "Thermis" - my pattern.
Usage: ca. 80 gram alpaca, drops - two strands held togheter all the way - on needle 4mm.
