Celebrating Multiple Intelligence - Because Your Child Smart in More than One Way!

Hello mommies. I've very interesting topic to share today. Have you ever heard about Multiple Intelligence? Hmm..actually I pun baru je berjinak-jinak dengan theory ni since I've started to handle program through Blooming Years Academy. One of our latest program was about Multiple Intelligence. Very interesting topic to understand about our children.

Among many things we are learning and reinforcing in today's classroom especially with our current education system, the idea that we are intelligent. Howard Gardner has come out with his Multiple Intelligences Theory where we are smart in all 9 areas. Some of us might be more developed in some intelligences areas, and others will be more developed in other areas.

So how does the theory relate to our children?

Cara pendidikan kita sejak dahulu sampailah sekarang, bnyk menekankan aspek cemerlang dalam academic (brain smart) sebagai perkara penting yang mesti ada pada kanak-kanak. They have to be excel in academic in order for us to consider them as smart children. Whereas, every child is different. They are smart in different way. They might not be smart in academic, but they could be very good in musical or interpersonal or maybe a body smart type of children. As parents, it is so important for us to understand about our children. Anak-anak kita lebih cenderung ke arah category yang mana supaya kita lebih bersedia untuk memberi sokongan dan pendedahan yang betul. Bukan semata-semata menekankan aspek academic sebagai pengukur aras bagi setiap anak-anak kita.

Mummies Day Out With Philips Avent..

Hi lovelies! Time is so limited skrang ni, ok try to make use this 1 hour break to finish the entry. =) Anyway, anyone here big fan of Philips Avent? *sambil angkat tangan sbelah lagi* Owh yes, same here! I'm a big fan of Philips Avent. Those my loyal readers here *hugs kisses*, you all mesti aware that I used lots of Philips Avent stuffs for my breastmilk storage as well as for solid foods storage and blender. Well, I'm so happy that my review on Avent Via Cup being used widely *eh eh ada lah jgak* by the Avent resellers to sell their products. One of it check here! And this is my original entry =)

Back to the topic. So when I received invitation for Mummies Day Out With Philips Avent, yes I know I will not miss this. And so lucky it was held on weekend. Great job Philips! That was my first time to bring along my sister Najmi *aka Che Mimi* to blogger event too. Since dia tengah breastfeed and stage to provide solid foods to her darling munchkin, ok lebih sesuai. Mommy skrang tengah cuti sementara sebelum start balik jaga baby *errkkk bila ek*

Event was held at Hilton Hotel, PJ. Not so far from our house using Federal Highway *reason I accept the invite too hehehe* The 4 hours event, was a very short event yet very fruitful sessions for all mommies. Mmg best sgt!

The event started with talk given by Ms Indra Balaratnam who is a Dietitian Consultant.

She spoke on good nutrition during pregnancy as well as during breastfeeding. Will share on detail on this topic soon. *yea being a while mommy nadia tak cerita pasal bf kan =)*

After about an hour talk, its time about the Avent product introduction by the spoke person from Kinderjik, official distributor for Philips Avent. 

 Good new for bf mommies! Avent just newly launched their electric breastfeeding pump recently. Very nice color *ya its purple*, very convenience for mommies as it come with single and double pumping, and with battery as well. Bunyi pun tak kuat. The price pun quite reasonable! Check it out at store and their website as well.

And the last session for the event was cooking demo by Chef Marina. Why shud they have cooking demo? Because it is very important to provide healthy foods for the family specially for small kids. As working parent, its so much important to have gadgets that will help us to shorten time spent at kitchen. With the above gadget, pretty sure we will have more convenience time with our family. yeay! Owh tell u what, mmg syok habis tgk Chef Marina masak, in half an hour, she can cooked rice, meatballs and sauce, and siap buat dip lagik! Visit her blog for healthy recipes. She also encouraged to get our kids involve during food preparation too. *hmmm weekend boleh lah kut hehe* The lovely boys Emmir and Adam tengah help Chef Marina buat meatball. So cute =)

[Blogger Session] : Philips myBuddy Launch Event

The other reason that make blogging is full of fun when I was invited to attend blogger events specially related with children or parenting. It always full of information session which can help to improve and adding up parenting tips and info about children stuffs. I have attended Philips myBuddy launch event recently which also dedicated event for bloggers. And that event I tell u, was among the coolest event ever attended. Thank you so much for the opportunity and invite by Philips Malaysia! *sending kisses* You know why?? Because the event was held at the spa. More, the bloggers who were the mommies blogger  *to be exact*, were given chance to pamper ourselves at the spa too. Cool isn't it! *sangat sangat okeyy* Super great idea! Knowing most mommies with super limited time *tahun ni takde chance pergi spa lagi*, this chance would be the great opportunity for us to pamper ourselves besides the launching session of myBuddy product too.

The launching event was held at Ozmosis Health & Day Spa, Bangsar.

A very cosy spa with Balinese concept. 

We also had great chance to mingle around with bloggers before the event started.

So happy to meet up few blogger friends too..

The event started with greeting by Ms Linda Lam, Senior Marketing Manager of Philips Lighting followed by the product introduction by Mr Philips Teh.

Our cookies baking mission for Eid 2013..

You'olls perasan tak iklan Planta kat tv sempena Ramadhan and raya tahun ni? Tag line "Seikhlas Kasih Ibu,  Setulus Sentuhan Planta" tu..Ada sekali tu, Adam datang kat I, sebab lepas tengok iklan tu la, requested me to bake cake and cookies for him. Alolo siannya. Memang I tak pernah baking kat rumah, sb peralatan takde, mommy takde oven nak..huhuhu. *pastu mommy tengah menabung nak beli my dream mixer kitchenaid tu, yg belang comel betul lah kahkah* But I promised him, we will do baking together at Omma house k. Selalunya bila balik raya, kalau sempat mmg I buat cookies lah at my parents house. Senang semua complete. Mmg fun kalau dapat buat cookies for raya, selalu tolong my mom buat biskut raya since kecil. I know the enjoyment to bake with my mom, so I would love to share experience with my kiddos too. *although dah dapat rase macamane haru nye bila nak siapkan cookies with small kids hihihi*

Tak sangka, a week before we all balik Terengganu, dapat invitation for Bengkel Amal Kuih Raya dengan Planta kat Mydin Mall USJ. Happy sgt. There were few more bloggers with their kids as well, were invited to make cookies to distribute for anak yatim at Rumah Anak-anak Yatim Al- Nasuha. It was a fun event indeed, sambil buat amal *walaupun tak seberapa* and paling penting dpt baking with my kids! Tercapai cita2 Adam..
