BIO


The band was formed in 2007 by the former Christian Epidemic guitarist Gábor Borhidi, Bence Hie drummer and Imre Farda (Exodikon) bassguitarist. The band would like to play technical old school Death Metal with the strong influences of the new school Death Metal bands. In 2008 János "deathjani" Tarr (ex-Fetus) vocals and Ferenc Pósfai (Exodikon) guitarist joined to the group. The first Cryptic Remains show took place in August 2008 on a festival called Watch My Dying Days (WMD-days). After the first succes, the band played a lot of gigs in different places all over Hungary, thanks to the invitation of our familiar bands. In the summer of 2009 our first stuff was recorded. The release date is 2010.
After the promo recording, our drummer Hie Bence decided to leave the band so currently we're looking for an experienced new drummer. In the beggining of the year 2010 Imre Farda the bassguitarist left the band too. The new member named László Válent (ex-Fetus). As for the future, Cryptic Remains is plannig to record a full-lenght album and find a new Death Metal maniac drummer.
