Fashion Wednesday: Geometry

Hej! Jakiś czas temu, podczas testowania stopki z górnym transportem, udało mi się (zupełnie przypadkiem!) uszyć najwygodniejszą sukienkę na świecie :-)

Okej, przyznaję, tego nawet nie można nazwać szyciem. Ale wiecie, chciałam spróbować, czy dzięki nowej stopce do maszyny będę mogła szyć dzianinę. Chwyciłam więc dwie koszulki Oliviera (dziękuję za wyrozumiałość, miły mój!), potem nastąpiło jedno ciachnięcie nożyczkami, jeden prosty szew… i sukienka gotowa! Mogę ją nosić luźno, jak ogromny t-shirt, albo z paskiem. Sprawdza się jako podomka, koszula nocna, albo całkiem spoko ciuch, w którym można wyjść do ludzi. Myślę nad zrobieniem kilku innych wersji - krótszych, dłuższych, z koszulek w różnych kolorach… Chowajcie więc swoje t-shirty, bo mogę się na nie czaić! :-)

Dzisiejszy zestaw (nie licząc sukienki DIY) jest zlepkiem różnych elementów, które ostatnio uwielbiam. Na okulary czaiłam się od marca, naszyjnik wygrałam w konkursie jeszcze w grudniu, torebkę sprezentował mi Olivier, rajstopy w kropki to podarek od Mamy, a buty, jak już Wam pisałam, zostały przeze mnie cudem wygrzebane na letnich wyprzedażach. Wszystko razem tworzy dziwną, ale wygodną i bardzo modenferową mieszankę :-)

Hi! Some time ago, in a completely random way, I succeeded to create the most comfortable dress in the world :-)

Okay, I must admit that it was more a DIY than a real sewing project. In fact, I just wanted to try if I can sew jersey on my sewing machine, so I took two Olivier's t-shirts. One straight seam later, my dress was ready! I can wear it like a giant tee or with a belt. I think about making few other dresses, in different versions: shorter or longer ones, or made of t-shirts in two different colours… So, keep an eye on your t-shirts, because I can try to steal them! :-)

Today's outfit (not counting my DIY dress) is a mix of different elements that I've been wearing over and over again recently. Like my new glasses, or the triangular necklace that I won in a contest in December, or a handbag that I got from Olivier, or tights with cute dots that my Mom offered me. And the shoes that I found during summer sales. It's a fun mix, and a very comfortable one :-)

I send you many hugs and I'm going to search for some dandelions for my rabbit! :-)

Salut ! Il y a quelque temps, complètement par hasard, j'ai réussi à créer la robe la plus confortable au monde :-)

D'accord, je dois admettre que c'est plus un projet de DIY qu'un projet de couture. En fait, je voulais tester un nouveau pied de biche pour voir si je pouvais coudre du jersey sur ma machine à coudre. Alors, j'ai pris deux t-shirts à Olivier (merci !), et un coup de ciseaux et une couture plus tard, la robe était prête ! Je peux la porter comme un t-shirt géant ou avec une ceinture. Je pense que je vais en faire plusieurs, dans différentes versions: plus courtes ou plus longues, ou avec des t-shirts de deux couleurs différentes… Alors, gardez un œil sur vos t-shirts, car je pourrais essayer de les voler ! ;-)

Le look d'aujourd'hui (sans compter ma robe DIY) est un mélange de différents éléments que j'adore actuellement. Comme mes nouvelles lunettes, ou le collier que j'ai gagné dans un concours en décembre, ou un sac à main qu'Olivier m'a offert, ou des collants trop mimi que ma Maman m'a envoyé. Oh, et les baskets que j'ai trouvé pendant les soldes d'été. Alors, c'est un mélange plutôt fun, et surtout très confortable :-)

DIY Monday: Lola Joo's pencil case

Cześć! Ostatnio miałam ogromną ochotę by uszyć coś ładnego i zarazem praktycznego. Z nieba spadła mi Asia, Lola Joo, ze świetnym tutorialem na piórnik :-) 

Moje szyciowe zdolności są na poziomie mocno niezaawansowanym. Patrząc na wprawę, z jaką posługuję się pedałem do maszyny cieszę się, że nie zdecydowałam się na zdawanie prawa jazdy ;-) Mimo wszystko dzięki przejrzystym instrukcjom na blogu Asi udało mi się uszyć naprawdę fajny piórnik! 

Hi! I really wanted to sew something pretty and practical at the same time. Thanks to Joanna, known as Lola Joo, I had no problem with sewing a cute pencil case, since she posted a great tutorial on her blog :-)

My sewing skills aren't great. That's why I'm surprised and happy that thanks to Asia's clear step-by-step tutorial I was able to create a really cute (and useful!) pencil case!

Salut ! Récemment, j'ai eu une folle envie de coudre quelque chose de joli et de pratique en même temps. Grâce à Joanna, connue sous le nom de Lola Joo, j'ai eu aucun problème avec la création d'une trousse à crayons. J'ai juste suivi son tutoriel :-)

Je suis une couturière très, très peu douée, alors j'apprécie le fait d'avoir réussi à créer une trousse comme celle que je vous montre aujourd'hui. Le tutoriel de Joanna est très clair, même pour des débutantes comme moi !

DIY Monday: Skull bag

Powiedzcie, co Modenfer mogła narysować na swojej nowej bawełnianej torbie? Kotka? Kwiatka? Jasne, że czachuncję :-) To silniejsze ode mnie!

Odkąd Pentel podesłał mi zestaw z torbą i nowym (żelowym!) długopisem do tkanin (o tym oraz jeszcze jednym kreatywnym pudełku pisałam już TUTAJ) wiedziałam, że powstanie czachosiatka. Czekałam tylko na chwilę natchnienia :-) Dziś nareszcie mogę dumnie pochwalić się nową torbą! Powstała błyskawicznie. Jak? Zapraszam do lektury!

Okay it's not a surprise that when I had to decide what to draw on my new cotton bag, the answer was simple:  a skull. Not a flower, not a kitten. A skull. I love skulls! :-)

I've got the creative box from Pentel a while ago (I've shown it HERE), with their new gel pen for textiles. I just had to find some free time to customize my cotton bag :-) Today I can finally show it to you! It was really quick to make. 

Oookay, ce n'est pas une surprise que lorsque j'ai dû choisir un motif pour mon sac en coton, la réponse fut simple: une tête de mort. Pas une fleur, pas un chaton. Une tête de mort. J'adore les têtes de mort, c'est aussi simple que ça ! :-)

J'ai reçu la boîte avec le "lot créatif" de Pentel il y a un moment déjà (je l'ai montré ICI), avec leur nouveau stylo gel pour les textiles. Et j'ai enfin trouvé un petit moment pour personnaliser mon sac :-) Aujourd'hui, je peux enfin vous le montrer ! Le créer fut un jeu d'enfant.

Pentel Arts: Fabric Fun!

Dzisiaj chciałabym Wam przedstawić dwa kreatywne zestawy zaprzyjaźnionej marki Pentel. O pastelach do zdobienia tkanin nieraz już wspominałam na blogu i wiem, że byliście nimi bardzo zainteresowani :-) Oba zestawy, choć podobne, mają pewne różnice. Przyjrzyjmy się więc ich zawartości!

J'ai déjà parlé des pastels en question plusieurs fois sur mon blog et je sais qu'ils vous intéressent :-) Ces deux boîtes sont assez proches et différentes en même temps. New In: Art supplies

Przyznaję bez bicia, że chociaż ciuchowe pokusy zupełnie nie robią na mnie wrażenia, to mam jeden słaby zakupowy punkt. Są nim artykuły papiernicze i wszelkie artystyczno-kreatywne drobiazgi. Niby wszystko mam, niby niczego nie potrzebuję, ale nie potrafię się powstrzymać. Na szczęście zakupowe szaleństwa zdarzają mi się rzadko :-) Na przykład cuda, którymi dzisiaj bezwstydnie się pochwalę, kupiłam już jakiś czas temu, ale z powodów, które wyjaśnię na końcu notki, czekałam z ich pokazaniem.

3, 2, 1, uwaga, jedziemy!

Even if I rarely feel the need to buy clothes, I can never say no to some new art supplies. I know that I already own everything that I need, but I just can't resist. Fortunately I don't go crazy with the stationery shopping too often :-) For example, all the supplies that I show you today were bought a long while ago, but for reasons that I will explain you at the end of my blog post, I had to wait to show them to you.

Même si je ressens très rarement le besoin d'acheter des vêtements, je ne peux jamais dire non aux nouvelles fournitures créatives. Je sais bien que je possède déjà tout ce dont j'ai besoin, mais je ne peux pas résister. Heureusement, je ne fais pas de folies trop souvent ;-) Par exemple, toutes les fournitures que je vous montre aujourd'hui ont été achetés il y a bien longtemps, mais pour des raisons que je vais vous expliquer à la fin de mon post, j'ai dû attendre pour vous les montrer.

DIY Monday: My little "Joulenka bag"

Dzisiaj chciałabym pochwalić się Wam niedużym, aczkolwiek uroczym uszytkiem :-) Brakowało mi torby, która pomieści różne domowe drobiazgi, a jednocześnie nie będzie mieć formy kosmetyczki lub piórnika. Zachęcona konkursem organizowanym przez Joulenkę postanowiłam uszyć "torebkę niekoniecznie na kanapki" posługując się zamieszczonym przez nią tutorialem (TUTAJ).

Szyłam z mieszanki lnu i bawełny w cudne paski. Materiał dostałam od Mamy i koniecznie chciałam coś z niego wyczarować :-) Nieco zmodyfikowałam model Joulenki dodając rzep.

Co myślicie o takim pasiaku? :-) Buziaki i miłego tygodnia!

Today I'd like to show you a small bag that I created thanks to Joulenka's tutorial (HERE). I got this beautiful textile (a blend of linen and cotton) from my Mom and I was so impatient to use it! I slightly modified the pattern by adding velcro. I thought that it would be great to be able to close the bag ;-) I use it now to store some bits and bobs at home.

Aujourd'hui, j'aimerais vous montrer un petit sac que j'ai créé grâce au tutoriel de Joulenka (ICI). C'est ma Maman qui m'a offert ce tissu rayé (un mélange de lin et de coton) et j'avais hâte de l'utiliser ! J'ai légèrement modifié le modèle de Joulenka en ajoutant une bande de scratch, car il est bien plus pratique de pouvoir fermer son sac ;-) Je l'utilise maintenant pour stocker plein de petits trucs utiles.

DIY Monday: Léopold le Chat

Panie i Panowie, poznajcie Léopolda! Léopold jest kotem z przypadku. Tak, z przypadku - bo miał być bałwankiem :-) Zachwycona tutorialem Agaty (TUTAJ) postanowiłam spróbować swoich sił w tworzeniu świątecznych ozdób. Okazało się jednak, że w całym naszym przytulnym domu nie ma ani jednej białej skarpetki ;-)

Ladies and gentlemen, it's time for you to meet Léopold! Léopold is a cat, but he was supposed to be a snowman... I loved Agata's tutorial (HERE) on how to create a snowman using an old sock, but all our socks are black. So instead of a snowman, I created a silly black cat :-)

Mesdames et Messieurs, il est temps de vous montrer notre Léopold ! Léopold est un chat, mais à la base il était censé être un bonhomme de neige... J'ai adoré le tutoriel d'Agata (ICI) sur: comment créer un bonhomme de neige en utilisant une chaussette... mais toutes nos chaussettes sont noires ! Ainsi, au lieu de créer un bonhomme de neige, j'ai fait un petit chat noir :-)

DIY Monday: My first bag!

Pierwsze koty za płoty, a pierwsza torba borba, o! Nadszedł czas, aby pokazać Wam nad czym ostatnio pracowały modenferowe ręce (i rozgrzany do czerwoności mózg!). Ale zacznijmy od początku...

I made my first bag! And I'm so happy :-) But, let me start from the beginning...

J'ai créé mon premier sac ! Et je suis si heureuse :-) Mais permettez-moi de commencer par le début...

Inspiration: Knitted scarves

Nadszedł grudzień, mróz powoli zaczyna szczypać w uszy, czas więc uzbroić się w ciepłe dodatki! Ja (zaraz po czapkach-uszankach!) najbardziej lubię szaliki. Koniecznie duże i mięsiste. Mam więc dzisiaj dla Was inspiracyjny miks szalikowy :-) Źródła wszystkich zdjęć znajdziecie, tradycyjnie, na samym dole wpisu. Który model najbardziej Wam się podoba? Mnie na łopatki rozłożył kot (10.), choć najchętniej nosiłabym pewnie musztardowy komin (9.).

A dla tych z Was, którzy lubią samodzielnie pomajsterkować, mam dwa przydatne linki: półgodzinny szalikowy tutorial TUTAJ i jego skróconą, piętnastominutową wersję TU. Gdyby nie to, że moje zapasy włóczki kurzą się w Sosnowcu, już brałabym się do roboty :-)

Grudniowe buziaki!

Okay! So it's already December? How is it even possible? Well, looks like it's the best moment to show you some winter-themed inspirations! Personally, I love wearing huge, warm scarves, so I prepared for you a little photo mix. Which model do you like the most? I love the cat one (10.), it's so funny! But most likely I'd wear the mustard one (9.).

And for those of you who like to DIY their own accessories, I have two useful links: 30 minutes infinity scarf tutorial HERE and its abbreviated version HERE. I wish I could make myself one of these, but all my yarn stayed in my hometown in Poland...

On est déjà en Décembre ? C'est fou ! Eh bien, on dirait que c'est le meilleur moment pour vous montrer quelques inspirations hivernales ! Personnellement, j'adore porter des écharpes, alors j'ai préparé pour vous un petit mix de photos d'écharpes :-) Quel modèle est votre préféré ? Moi, j'adore l'écharpe-chat (10.), même si probablement je porterais plutôt celle de couleur moutarde (9.).

Et pour ceux d'entre vous qui aiment les DIY, j'ai deux liens bien utiles: le tutoriel pour créer une écharpe-tube en 30 minutes ICI et sa version plus courte en 15 minutes ICI. Si toute ma laine n'était pas restée en Pologne, je les aurais faite, c'est sûr !

Hej hej! Pamiętacie moje przygody z pastelami do tkanin firmy Pentel? Ozdabiałam nimi między innymi torby, o, taką i jeszcze taką. Natomiast marker do tkanin pozwolił mi na narysowanie tego oto radosnego flaminga. 

Dzisiaj chciałabym opowiedzieć Wam o fajnym projekcie, w którym miałam możliwość wziąć udział i w którym pomógł mi Olivier :-) Stworzyliśmy pięć tutoriali. Zobaczycie w nich jak łatwo i kolorowo ozdobić bawełniane torby, koszulki czy worek na kapcie :-) Możecie je znaleźć w "Katalogu inspiracji" dołączonym do kreatywnego zestawu produktów Pentel, w którego skład wchodzi duże pudełko pasteli, marker do tkanin, katalog, koszulka i szablony. Hello everyone! Do you remember my DIY projects that I made using Pentel products? I've created some personalized bags with their pastels for fabrics, like this one or this one. I also decorated one little flamingo bag using their textile marker! Today I'd like to tell you about a cool project I was able to participate in together with Olivier :-) On the Pentel Poland website called PasteleDoTkanin.pl you can see five DIY projects that I prepared using their products. Tutorials are in Polish but I'm sure that you will be able to understand them, since they're all illustrated with nice photos! You will see how to create simple and fun, colorful designs on bags and tee-shirts :-) Just take a look, it's HERE. We have created these tutorials for Pentel's catalogue. It is sold together with their pastels, textile marker, a white tee and some stencils. So cool!

DIY Monday: Stamps! vol. II

Problem z wycinaniem pieczątek polega na tym, że ciężko przestać :-) Za każdym razem, kiedy wytnę nowy kształt, w mojej głowie pojawia się pełno pomysłów na kolejne... i kolejne... Mam wrażenie, że może to w niedalekiej przyszłości doprowadzić do zapieczątkowania każdej gładkiej powierzchni w moim otoczeniu :-)

Dzisiaj chciałabym Wam pokazać dwa projekty. Jeden to motyw kropli, do którego użyłam tej samej "łezkowej" pieczątki, co w TYM wpisie. Zastemplowałam spory kawałek czystej bawełny, na zapas. Nigdy nie wiadomo, kiedy będzie potrzebny :-) Drugi projekt to torba, ozdobiona według pomysłu mojej Mamy i przeznaczona na prezent dla Niej. Kiedy ogarnęła mnie pieczątkowa mania, Mama podrzuciła mi pomysł na wycięcie stempli z logo Atari i Commodore. Było przy tym trochę dłubania, ale efekt końcowy bardzo mi się podoba :-)

Próbowaliście już wycinać własne stemple? Jeśli nie, to gorąco Was do tego zachęcam, to naprawdę świetna zabawa! :-)

Buziaki!

The biggest problem with making your own stamps is that you can't stop, you just need to create more and more of them :-) Every time I finish one stamp, I already know what shape I can create next. 

Today I'd like to show you two separate projects. One is a simple raindrop pattern I made using the same "teardrop"-shaped stamp as HERE. I decorated a quite large piece of blank cotton with colourful drops :-) The second project is a personalized cotton bag that I made for my Mom. She asked me if it would be possible for me to create stamps with logo of Atari and Commodore! Such a cool idea :-)

Have you already tried to create your own stamps? If not, I really think you should!

Le plus grand problème avec les tampons encreurs, c'est qu'ils sont si faciles à faire, qu'on ne peut plus s'arrêter :-) Chaque fois que j'en termine un, j'ai déjà une idée pour le suivant. 

Aujourd'hui, je voudrais vous montrer deux créations différentes. Avec mon tampon encreur en forme de goutte d'eau (déjà utilisé pour créer CE motif), j'ai tamponné un grand morceau de coton blanc pour créer "une pluie arc-en-ciel" :-) J'ai également personnalisé un sac en coton pour ma Maman. Elle m'a demandé s'il serait possible pour moi de créer des tampons encreurs en forme de logos d'Atari et de Commodore ! Une bien chouette idée, n'est-ce pas ? :-)

Avez-vous déjà essayé de créer vos propres tampons encreurs ? C'est tellement facile et fun !

DIY Monday: Stamps!

Ostatnio ogarnęła mnie mania stemplowania! Stawiając pierwsze kroki w szyciu korzystam ze starych prześcieradeł i poszew, ale taka biała bawełna jest przecież nudna :-) Jakiś czas temu udało mi się uszyć prototyp bluzki. Całość wyszła na tyle sympatycznie, że do momentu znalezienia odpowiedniego materiału na "właściwy" ciuch postanowiłam nosić również moje poszewkowe cudo. Trzeba je było tylko ozdobić!

Stamps, stamps everywhere! Since I don't want to use too expensive or nice textiles for my sewing projects (I'm just a beginner and it would be a pity to destroy nice fabric), I tend to use old sheets. But the white cotton is boring! That's why I started creating my own stamps to decorate it :-) A while ago I finished my first blouse and I decided to stamp some funny shapes on it!

Mon nouveau hobby est de fabriquer des tampons encreurs ! Comme je ne suis qu'une couturière débutante, j'utilise des vieux draps pour mes projets de couture. Mais le coton blanc est trop banal ! C'est pourquoi j'ai commencé à créer mes propres tampons. Récemment j'ai fini de coudre mon premier haut en coton et j'ai décidé de le décorer !

DIY Monday: Reuse your pendants!

Hej ho! Dzisiaj przychodzę do Was z prostym pomysłem na wykorzystanie osieroconych zawieszek. Jestem pewna, że większość z Was ma zachomikowany zapas nienoszonych wisorków, zepsutych bransoletek czy rozparowanych kolczyków, które żal wyrzucić :-) Ja postanowiłam ozdobić nimi torbę. Wyszedł radosny misz-masz, który bardzo mi się podoba :-) Jeśli jednak wolicie bardziej stonowane dodatki, wybierzcie zawieszki w jednym stylu.

Hello! Today I'd like to show you a simple way to use your old pendants. I'm sure that most of you owns some old broken bracelets with charms, earrings or necklaces that you don't wear anymore. I decided to use my pendants to decorate a bag :-) The result is fun and silly, but if you prefer more classic accessories, use pendants that are all in one style.

Bonjour ! Aujourd'hui je voudrais vous montrer comment utiliser vos pendentifs que vous ne portez plus. Je suis sûre que la plupart d'entre vous possède quelques vieux bracelets cassés avec des pendentifs, des boucles d'oreilles dépareillées ou des colliers qui ne vous plaisent plus en tant que tels. J'ai décidé d'utiliser mes pendentifs pour décorer un sac :-) Le résultat est fun et amusant, mais si vous préférez des accessoires plus classiques, optez pour des pendentifs d'un seul style.

Oprócz zapasu zawieszek potrzebne nam będą również:

- igła z nitką w kolorze torby

- nożyczki

- torba :-) Najlepiej materiałowa lub z innego tworzywa, w które łatwo można wbić igłę, chyba, że nie macie nic przeciwko mozolnemu szyciu przez grubszy materiał. Ja wybrałam czarną plecioną torebkę, chociaż i na eko-torbie zawieszki prezentowałyby się zacnie.

In addition to pendants you will need: a needle and a thread (in a colour of your bag); scissors; a bag! A cotton one would be perfect, or one made in any textile that isn't too thick to sew through. 

En plus de pendentifs, vous aurez besoin: d'une aiguille et d'un fil (de la couleur de votre sac), d'une paire de ciseaux, d'un sac ! Un sac en coton sera parfait, ou un fait dans une matière pas trop épaisse pour pouvoir coudre à travers.

Przed rozpoczęciem przyszywania najlepiej jest spróbować kilka ułożeń zawieszek i wybrać to, które najbardziej nam odpowiada. Na szczęście nawet jeśli po zakończeniu pracy okaże się, że chcielibyśmy przesunąć jakiś element albo z niego zrezygnować, prucie zajmie sekundy ;-)

Jak widzicie nie ma w tym żadnej filozofii. Mnie ozdobienie torby zajęło pół godziny, pewnie dlatego, że robiłam to powolutku. W przypadku mniejszej ilości elementów będzie jeszcze szybciej :-) Pamiętajcie jednak, aby każdą zawieszkę przyszywać oddzielnie. Zajmuje to więcej czasu, ale jeśli zdarzy Wam się zahaczyć o coś torbą nie będzie ryzyka zgubienia wszystkich ozdób na raz :-)

Dajcie proszę znać jak podoba Wam się ten prosty pomysł i napiszcie koniecznie o Waszych ostatnich przeróbkach, jestem ich strasznie ciekawa!

At first try to compose the pendants on your bag to see which composition pleases you the most. Fortunately, since you're going to sew them on, you will always be able to cut them off and change their place.

As you can see, it's really easy. It took me half an hour to sew all the pendants onto my bag, probably because I did it slowly. If you decide to use less pendants it will be even quicker :-) But remember to sew on each pendant separately! It takes more time, yes, but if one day you hook up your bag on something, there will be no risk of losing all the pendants at once!

Pour commencer, essayez de placer les pendentifs sur votre sac pour trouver la composition qui vous plaît le plus. Heureusement, vous serez de toute façon toujours en mesure de couper les fils et de déplacer vos pendentifs ultérieurement si vous changez d'avis.

Comme vous pouvez le voir, c'est vraiment facile. Il m'a fallu une demi-heure pour coudre tous les pendentifs sur mon sac, probablement parce que je l'ai fait lentement. Si vous décidez d'utiliser moins de pendentifs, ça sera encore plus rapide :-) Mais n'oubliez pas de coudre chaque pendentif séparément ! Cela prend plus de temps, mais si un jour vous accrochiez votre sac quelque part, il n y aura ainsi pas de risque de perdre tous les pendentifs à la fois !
