DELICATE FLOWERS

Morning Everyone,

It is time for a new challenge at As You Like It and we are asking you to share your favourite reason to send a card, e.g. birthdays, Christmas, friends etc.

My two favourites are Birthdays and Christmas.  With Christmas just gone and having made lots of that type I decided on a birthday card and I also need to build my stock up a bit too.

I have used my Altenew Delicate Flower Bed stamp for this one and stamped in one colour. I must admit that it didn't turn out as I had intended and I had to cut the stamping in half and used my mini scalloped borders to add a bit of a pattern and added a Gummiapan birthday die, covered in glitter, in between. I've also added a few clear gems to some of the flowers.

NON TRADITIONAL CHRISTMAS COLOURS

 Morning Everyone,

It's the start of a new challenge at As You Like It and we are asking to see your favourite non-traditional Christmas colours.

I have chosen pink as I think it's such a pretty change to reds and greens and it goes well with both silver and gold.

I did have a bit of brain fog when trying to decide on the design for the card and it seemed to take me ages, but with the help of my mini scalloped edgers I got there in the end!  I've stamped my Gummiapan reindeer in silver, cut out with the relating die and heat embossed the sentiment.

CHRISTMAS CRITTERS

Good Morning Everyone,

I'm a little late with my card for the new Sparkles Christmas challenge where the theme is Christmas Critters.

I have used a Gummiapan stamp in metallic gold for the reindeer and then cut him out with the accompanying die.  I have used my dual stitched circle dies to for the middle of my dp and placed a snippet of hammered cardstock underneath.  The reindeer has been attached with foam tape and a stitched banner die used for the sentiment.  Gold twine and pearls make up the embellishments.

My cards have been like buses just lately haven't they?  None for a while and then 3 in a row!

Whatever you are doing today,  please keep safe.  I need to make a start on my daughter's birthday card which is next week so that will keep me busy for the next few days.
