CVS Health Stuff

I did an early shopping at CVS today. I was not looking for anything in particular. I was just planning to see what are the stuff in their clearance sales. I drove to CVS for the first time by myself (with daughter in the back). This was the second time that I drove the car without another driver.

Anyway, I was excited to snag these bottles of fish oil and cinnamon. They were all in CVS clearance sales. They are all 75% off from the retail price. Expiration date is still Year 2017 so I know I can stock up on them.

All the items above were retailed at $ 46.03. With 75% off the price was only 11.51. I used $10ECB which I earned from previous trip. I basically just paid $1.51 (+tax) on all of these. I am a happy with my snags for today!

Huge Crayon

My daughter and I went to the mall just to walk around, window shop, play in the mall's playground and do our usual Red Mango trip. Going to the mall means eating Red Mango yogurt with my daughter's choice of toppings. Red Mango is a treat for her.

We also went to different toy stores to look around and play. When we were at Toys 'r Us she wanted me to take a picture of her holding the huge crayon. She has always been fascinated with this crayon because she keeps wondering how can she ever use it to color.

We had fun that day and we were also able to snag some cheap clothes for her.

Less than $1 Shopping Trip

Last night, hubby wanted to go to Walmart to look for a kid movie for Andrea. He gave me extra time to peruse the clearance section of Walmart. I was happy to be able to find some steals. Here's my less than $1 trip last night.

Black Friday Tradition

Black Friday is fun. I was one of the many people who braved the cold weather and the long lines at the mall just to get the deals that are irresistible. Last year, my friends and I went to the Black Friday Midnight Sale and we had a blast. We started early as we expected that there will be long lines. Despite the very cold weather, my friends and I still was able to enjoy the event.

This year, I plan to shop for a bigger TV for our new home. I waited for the Black Friday sales event because electronics and other stuffs are priced low around this time. With the budget that I have, I know I can buy a bigger TV. I need a TV which is at least 60". Our living room is big and the ceiling is high so I need a bigger TV for better viewing experience. I just hope that I will get lucky and be able to grab the TV deals in stores.

Just in case I won't be quick enough to grab a TV deal, I have to make sure that I can grab and take advantage of the Cyber Monday TV sales. If there is a black friday, there is also a cyber monday. Surprise Shopping Trip

Hubby is on leave for the Thanksgiving holidays. He is not working starting today. He will be back work on Monday.

We didn't plan anything big but to spend some time together. I was surprised when he told me that he was going to his work for a while. Little did I know that he was just gonna bring me to the mall to shop. Isn't that sweet?

He gave me time to check the stores that I like without having Andrea to tow around. He and Andrea went to kids stores and played in the mall.

I took time to check the specialty stores of my liking. Found great deals but really didn't buy them. I contented myself in looking at them and admiring them. I went to Coach to buy purse for a friend. I found a great deal and was happy about my purchase.

Then I went to Vanity Fair to buy something else for hubby.

I really enjoyed shopping by myself knowing that Andrea is well taken cared of and I don't have to rush as I was given time to (window) shop all I want.

I am a Sucker!

When it comes to clearance items, I am a sucker! This is one of my latest finds and steals. A DKNY long sleeve shirt for hubby. Isn't this chic?

Guess, Guess, Guess

I went to shop at Guess the other day. I bought some Guess goodies for a friend. I am glad that there is a Guess factory outlet near me because I can buy some good stuff for a lesser price. My friend is excited to get her Guess goodies. I am excited too because I love the stuffs that I got for her!

The Frog and the Kids

Going to the mall is something my little girl loves to do because she can play at the food court. They have a little play area there where there are animals that they can play. We always make sure that they can play for a little bit before we go shopping.

Black Friday Craze

Black Friday Sales at Walmart starts at 12MN. We were there earlier because we wanted to be part of it. I was thinking of checking out their laptop which was priced at $198!

We know there were a lot of people because it is hard to find a parking space. When we got inside, people were already in different sections where the supposed to be sale items were located. The pictures above shows how crazy it was and to think it was not midnight yet. We decided to skip and just go home and leave the Black Friday Craze to them.

Dressing Up Your Little One

I am so blessed to have a baby girl. I like having a girl because it is always fun to dress her up. Having a baby girl is like having your own live doll. I enjoy dressing her up and putting some ribbons on her hair and I also like making different hairstyles for her long hair.

Purses for my Collection

My birthday is coming up and we decided to celebrate it early because Dave has to work on that day. We went out for a date yesterday. We were supposed to watch a movie but we both decided to just hang around, dine out and shop. Dave bring me to shopping because he knows that I love it. Thanks to Mom and Dan who kept Andrea so we were able to have time for ourselves.

We dine out at a Japanese Restaurant. It was the first time that we went to a Hibachi-style dinner. We had a great time. After the dinner, we went to check out The Fresh Market. It is a store that sells very fresh products and the place is a little pricey. We also checked out the pet store because we planned on buying big fishes for our aquarium (Andrea just love to look at the fishes). Then we went to some other stores and I was able to buy two purses at a very reasonable price. I was ecstatic! I haven't purchased a purse in a little while and finding a good buy is really exciting. Suffice to say, I have two more purses to add to my collection.

Yesterday was a great date... I can't ask for more.. good food, shopping, and most of all we spent some quality time together.

Shopping Frenzy

Last week I had a "shopping frenzy". I bought seven long and short sleeves for my dear hubby. I shop 3 pairs of boots for myself. That was the first time that I let myself buy more than 2. Well, valentines is coming up and that was my excuse. I bought it as a gift for my hubby and for myself.

Shopping online can be addicting because of its convenience. I admit, I have a grand time browsing different websites looking for good deals, sale items and discounted items. I was even able to take advantage of shipping promotion. On one of the websites where I bought two dress shirts for Dave, I only paid $.99 shipping. Not bad, huh?

Anyway, I opted to buy clothing as my gift for hubby this Valentines because, I think it is practical and he can really use them for work. While I was on "shopping frenzy mode" , I looked for everything from men's clothing to women's clothing, shoes, children's outfits and even large mens clothing. Shopping online is really fun. I just have to limit the frequency of my shopping because my funds are limited.

When I got here in the USA, I was so tiny! I was a typical Filipino who is short and petite. I can hardly find clothes that fit my size. Most of the times, I shopped at the teen section. But, things changed. I got comfortable living and eating American food. All those sweet desserts and greasy stuff, I gained weight. Adding to the fact that I got pregnant, my size increases. I think the only consolidation that I got from the all the weight that I put on is the fact that I can now shop easily.

Although, I gained weight I still shop for trendy clothes. I am still proud to say that even though I am not as sexy as I used to be, I still dress with glam! To Shop or Not To Shop

It is freezing cold outside and I don't wanna go out because it is a lot of hassle. Going out this cold weather means to bundle up in order to be warm. It always takes a while before we can be ready to get out this cold weather because I have to make sure first that my daughter will be warm enough while we are outside. I have to make sure that she is well bundled up and I have some extra coat and warm clothes with me. There is so much to prepare when going out in this cold weather.

Most often than not, we just stay inside our little abode. Staying inside will definitely ensure that we are warm. Sometimes though it gets boring to be inside the house for a long period of time. When I get bored, the shopper on me kicks in because I have all the time to look for internet deals. Since it is cold it makes me think of shopping for a Jessica Simpson Clancey Boots. Customer in Training

Few days ago, we went to shop at Whole Foods and found a very neat thing. While looking for a shopping basket or pushcart, we found a small shopping pushcart that has a "Customer in Training" on it. These shopping pushcarts are designed for the little ones to use while shopping. Obviously, Andrea was so excited to shop and push the pushcart. She was on the go pushing the cart everywhere. Of course, her daddy has to guide her so as she won't run over everybody. While I was shopping for fish and veggies, father and daughter are busy pushing the pushcart all over the store. They will just come back to get the things I picked and put it in Andrea's pushcart.

After I was done shopping, we were ready to go but Andrea was not! She still wants to push the pushcart around. The store is somewhat expensive but they have a variety of fresh fish (with heads on) that is why we shop there every once in a while. Perhaps next time, we will give Andrea more time to do her shopping....

New Year... New Boots

Something new for new year... new boots! I have a few pair of boots but I wanted a new ugg boots because, I don't own a pair of ugg boots yet. I have a mini collection of boots in different style and most of them are in high heels. Sometimes, wearing high heeled boots is not practical especially if you are running errands. An ugg boots will be perfect for me doing some things with Andrea outside during these cold winter days. I love winter and we are taking advantage with it as much as possible.

I love dressing up during winter. Everyone can still be dressy and yet comfortable and warm during winter. With a proper winter wardrobe from warm clothes to warm boots, one can still enjoy the outdoors in its windy and chilly glory.

When I saw ugg boots sale, I got another excuse to buy a new boots. I can't pass the opportunity to buy a comfortable boots at a price that is very affordable. So, for this new year, I got a new pair of boots to start off my new year shopping!
