Review and swatches of Darling Diva Holiday, Material Girl and Bitchcraft

*PR sample

Hello lovelies,

What about some indie swatches today? I have here three pretty Darling Diva polishes that I'm sure you'll enjoy :)

Holiday - multicoloured round glitter in a clear base. I've applied one coat of Holiday over Barielle Banana Drop. Some of the glitters are quite big so I needed to play around with the placement. It applied well and dried fast but I needed an extra coat of topcoat to smooth out the surface.

Material Girl - pink jelly with pink, magenta and silver holographic glitter. So pretty and girly shade! The formula is a bit sheer because of its jelly base so I needed three thicker coats for full coverage. It applied well but I did have to play a little with the glitter placement. I've applied topcoat to smooth out the surface.

Bitchcraft - dark grey jelly base packed with holographic particles and duochrome glitter. I love this polish so much! Not only does it have such a cool name that makes me giggle but it is also absolutely stunning! It might seem like regular holo in the sun but when you get into shade the duochrome glitter (just like in Ozotic Elytra) shows itself and creates an interesting colour. I have applied one coat of Bitchcreaft *giggle* over A England Camelot. The polish by itself is on the sheer side so I would need maybe three thick coats for dark colour. Layering is much better option. It applied well, dried fast and gritty so I'm wearing topcoat as well.

Here's one picture in the shade but it truly doesn't show off the beautiful glitter which changes from purple to blue to orange.

You've probably guessed it by now that Bitchcraft *giggle* is my favourite of the three but they are all beautiful creations! You can buy them at Darling Diva Etsy Store. For updates visit Darling Diva Polish Facebook page.

Barry M Nail Art Pen Silver over Darling Diva Catherine - Nail art, review and swatches

*The nail polish and stud wheel were provided for a review

Hello lovelies,

This post will be a bit longer and picture heavy as it basically features three products. Yay for effectiveness :D

This particular manicure features Barry M Nail Art Pen in Silver which I've tested for the first time. The silver colour nicely opaque and flows well. It was actually very easy to work with and I hope I'll see some more shades of the nail art pens - but don't forget the need for excellent pigmentation, Barry M!

The Black and White pens are not fully opaque and it bothered me quite a bit as I needed to draw twice. But this one was better. I've done just an 'abstract cobweb' design over Darling Diva Catherine. The ring finger has been decorated with square metal studs from Born Pretty Store Stud wheel.

I've used the metal square studs from this particular Stud wheel and there will be many more manicures coming as there is a wide range of studs. You can choose from black, silver and gold finishes and from different shapes and sizes. I like the small studs the best as my nails are not wide and the big ones tend to stick out.

The second half of this post is dedicated to the Darling Diva Catherine because this polish deserves it!

Catherine - red-based holographic base with blue iridescent glitter. This polish is absolutely stunning and you need it if you like purples! it has a very good formula that applies easily and two coats were enough for good coverage. I needed topcoat to smooth out the surface but I would use the topcoat anyway. My pictures don't do it justice, it's much prettier in real life.

Darling Diva Care Bear Stare, Caramel Martini and Grumpy Bear - Review and swatches

Hello lovelies,

I've got some more Darling Diva polishes to show you today! You can find the previously reviewed shades here.

Caramel Martini - milky white base with orange, brown and gold glitter. The colour combination reminds me of Autumn and Halloween a lot. The formula is easy to apply and I got this coverage with two thick coats. Next time I'll apply one coat over white nail polish. It dried quite fast but gritty so topcoat is necessary.

Grumpy Bear - blue-green shimmer base with white glitter and pink heart glitters.Umm nope...didn't like this polish at all I'm afraid. The formula is on the thicker side, little bit glue-ish. It has low pigmentation so it's better for layering than worn by itself but even layered it has its problems. I've had to apply two coats over white nail polish as the first coat was very patchy and streaky. Second coat did even the colour. I have applied one coat over black on the ring finger. The result in the photos doesn't look that bad but the I wasn't happy with the application. If the formula will be improved in the future than I'd be happier with the polish.

Care Bear Stare - blue iridescent glitters mixed with white, translucent yellow, pastel blue and pink glitter, all in a clear base. Now this one is a winner! I have applied one coat over England Camelot and over OPI My Vampire Is Buff and I love how the glitter mix looks so different! Care Bear Stare over OPI looks very 'Eastery' with it's pastel shades and it drastically change when applied over black. The white and blue iridescent glitter create very nice contrast.

I had no problems formula-wise. It applied nicely, I got very good amount of glitter in the first coat and it dried fast. I had to use topcoat to smooth the finish.

Darling Diva Ménage à Trois over A England Camelot - very sparkly layering :)

Hello lovelies,

Just a quick post today as I'll be swatching and doing nail art whole day. It's very snowy outside so no chance of going out!

I have here Darling Diva Ménage à Trois layered over A England Camelot. Ménage à Trois is a part of the 2013 Valentine's Day collection and you can read the review here. When I've had the polish on it reminded me of a ring so I've decided to wear it in the photos.

The ring is crazy sparkly and it's a Schmuck-art ANTONY from Zalando, UK e-shop selling clothes, jewellery, accessories and beauty products. I've received the ring to feature so hope you'll like it :)
