Strasbourg

With a rent car we could travel a bit more around Merete and I. So we drove a bit early back to Starsbourg where we should leave the car and Merete showed me around in the town.

To tell you all…that women…she has a glued memoary :-) She had been here once some years a go going by bus….but she found the way around…I saw the Europeen Parlament

We saw the Cathedral of Strasbourg A master piece of a building

She showed me the “Petite of France”

The win route in Alsac

  It was so nice traveling around with arent car looking,stopping, driving to see more of the lovely places on te Win rout Look at all the birds ontop off the roof…they are taking place for the night::soon the roof will be full off them…and only on these three one This wonderful garden was full of flowers in all color and just a view…….
We just had to taste some ….they were so tiny and full of taste The sweetes one I ever eaten in my life

Even with plane,bus and a rent car the trip take some time…but with the GPS …and Merete as the driver in our little Bebop Renault we had a wonderful time

I don’t know why but I have a predilection for doors and details on houses. In Colmar, France there where so much of them and I didn’t have time to photo them all. But I can give you a small taste sharing with you... and look at the piano...isnt that wonderful!

Oh my, oh my what a trip…. Fabulous quilter friends and adventures it was. It was really hectic and hard day program, but I would not bee without it!!!!! Thanks Merete for lovely days. Next time Goteborg and then Birmingham…. OK?

I did some shopping … I think LOL and I will share some photo with you of my treasures Hold on!

This lady Sharon a lovely person….took photos of my pants (They are full of quiltfabric)I had to hold in my breath…LOL look at this wonderful scrapping with fabric in the frame. She shared a lot of ideas with me. I could stand there for hours.

This lovely works are made by M.Behrends-Kohl. She allowed me to take photo. She is making the must wonderful fabric of linen and handdyed with gold print on. You reach her here http://www.mbehrends-kohl.de/ They are gorgeous for passepartouts.

Another wonderful card of the most fabulous quilting I ever seen before. Of course this had won a price for best quilting!
I bought a pencil marker with thin end to use in stencils and quilting. I first read about it in Linda’s blog. At last I got his pelican scissors for machine appliqué
