Heddas elegant birthdaycard

My daughter Hedda (10 years) has made cards again. She finished this birthdaycard earlier today (sick and home from school, it's nothing else to do but cardmaking or reading).
We've found a wonderful challengeblog for kids; La-La-Land Crafts For Kids, where she found the challenge "2 different ribbons" that inspired her to make the card. Then she asked for a sketch (should think she was a pro, listening to her talking about "sketches", adhesives, colours and cutting and so on - LOL. Well, I found some sketches around, and she picked this one from Sketch Saturday.
She has used papers from Papirdesign, the stampimage is from Lalaland (rubberstamp, this one) that she has coloured with aquarellepencils. The textstamps are from Kort&Godt (outside) and Kreativ Hobby (inside). She has distressed all of the edges of the DPs. Inside she has used the Spellbinders to make the "greetingpanels" (picture below).
When she had finished the card I was sent outside to take pictures - LOL.
I think she has done a great job on this one, so I thought I'd help her putting it into some challenges:

Sanders Eastercard

I have to show you the card that Sander, my son (11) made the other day - isn't it cute - I certainly think he's done a great job with this one.

It's not often he takes the time to sit down making something (he is more of an outdoor-/ footballboy :) ) But when I asked him if he wanted to join me making an eastercard he said "yes" right away - if I'd make him a chickenimage. I did, but I also encouraged him to make one himself too. I showed him how to cut cardstock and papers, and how to use the puncher. Then he started the cardmaking, and this is how it turned out - I'm so proud of him :D !
I asked him if I could put his card in my blog, and he agreed with that, but I also had to put it in a challenge ( he likes competitions :) )
I found these challenges for his eastercard:

Stampin' for the weekend - Easter
ABC DT Challenge - Easter Card
Creative Inspirations - Easter
Die Cut Dreams Challenge Blog - It's easter time

If I have understood him right, I think this card is for Grandma and Grandpa :)

Heddas Card

When I made my card for Just Magnolias "Anything Goes with the option of adding buttons"-challenge my daughter Hedda (10) came and also wanted to make a card with Tilda, and with buttons. She has over the years got some hours sitting beside me painting, cutting, punching - doing everything that I do. I think she's become quite good, and does she want any help - no. She wants to try first on her own...
Last sunday she made this easelcard. I'm not quite sure what kind of papers she's used, but I DO recognize the Tildaimage (she likes Tilda and Edwin very much), and I can see that she's been using the spellbinder with different dies and a heartpunch :)
I also think she has been much more creative using the buttons than I was ...
So - after her wish I'll send her card to Just Magnolia, and hope they will let her enter their challenge although she's only 10...

Christmascards in February

Here's my second christmascard in February, for Hjertebodens Juleblogg.
The image is a picture I found on the internet.
Behind the picture i placed a big snowflake - only a little bit of it is showing.
I've used most cold colours in this card, most grey and silver.
All flowers are sprayed with silverpaint.
All edges are also "silvered".
I made the silverspray myself, and put it into an empty candyspraybottle I've kept after one of the kids - and was very satisfied with myself, thought I was really smart...
...until Sander came into my scraproom and found the spraybottle, with very quick fingers - luckily I were in the room and managed to stop him after only one spray in the mouth...

The last February christmascard is a JoyFold Card, in a sort of vintage style.
The image is from Stampavie Sarah Kay, coloured with aquarellepencils.
The text "The night before christmas" is from Panduro.
Inside the card I've used a text from Storyteller saying "God jul & Godt nyttår"
I've also used a Martha Stewart edge puncher and Spellbinders Petite Scalloped Circles Large.

Silly me, didn't write down what papers I used while working on the cards, so now I really can't remember where they came from... :(

White and Pink Lantern

This year I've decided to try to make more "things", not only cards (and scrappages).
This is one of those projects :)
I've made a lantern in white and pink.
It's meant to use with one of those batteryoperated tea-lights inside.
The reason why I made white and pink was mainly because I have big difficulties painting this Tildaimage in other colours than pink :), and those colours are the requested colours in the challenges at both
Scrappekammeret
and
Scrap'a'Long Utfordringsblogg

* * *

Scrappekammeret
og
Scrap'a'Long Utfordringsblogg

Size: 11X7 cm (without the handle)

Materials:
White Bazzill Cardstock
DP: Poppy Design (Vibeke Spigseth) from Panduro
Stamp: Magnolia
Aquarellepencils
Ribbons
Bling
Flowers
MS edgepuncher

My MagnoliaCalendar

This is my 2011 calendarbook. Most months are finished now, but there's plenty of place both for writing and pictures in the year to come
- a kind of scrapbookfilofaxnotebook :)
I've made the calendarpages of long envelopes, cutted and folded and then decorated with DP and embellishments (I've managed to use a lot of my scrappapers :D)
Here's the Januarypage.
Since there are 4 - 6 pockets for every month there's plenty of place to note everything from birthdays to cardmakingstuff I need.
I took the Januarycalendar out of its pocket for the picture. On the back of the calendarcard I've used a lined DP, to note things to remember for every day of the month.
A closer picture from the Januarypage.
I think these skiing Edwin and Tilda were perfect for this month. I've coloured them with aquarellepencils and a waterbrush.
I've used Magnoliaimages throughout the "book" (coloured with both aquarellepencils, ProMarkers and DistressInk refills), so I'll enter the
Magnolia-licious Calendar Blog-Hop with this one :)
