Fridays Class.......

Morning all,

What a miserable day out there today, how is it where you are?

As you know I have not had too much time lately for blogging but the design team have been bringing you some fabulous samples......
I  would like to say a huge thank you to all that attended my workshop on Friday as we had a great deal of fun. I think I worked you a little hard this month, as I know a lot of you went home exhausted!!! lol!
You all came up with some beautiful cards. here is what the ladies created in the class in case you missed it.......

This first card was using the Craftwork Cards Bow Pad, a Woodware holly punch, some Candi for berries and an embossing folder.......and of course some gold stickles, its not Christmas without glitter!!! The message is from the Christmas Post Collection that works really well with the bow pad......

The next card was using Georgie and Robin from Hobby Art, I love snowmen.... there is just something about them. I got the girls to decoupage him and paper piece his scarf and waistcoat. They coloured him in Promarkers and added some icicle Stickles of course and even got the chance to play with Puffy Stuff for snow. It has all sold out at the moment but will be back in soon and on the website......
They made him in all different colours and it was lovely to see Georgie emerging in all different shades.......

Here are the ladies enjoying the workshop, they have there heads down and working away so hard!!!

How many bows do we have to make? I hear them say......

I never seen them so focused and sounding so quiet.........

Seriously we may have to make bows again, lol!!!.......

Well Christmas is looming fast and so is the end of year Christmas Party, there are just a couple of spaces left on the day and evening class if you do want to get booked in. The date is 6th December and as usual there will be great projects, fabulous food and an abundance of fun as well as a lot of surprises!!!!! Email me at: lisabaker1@btinternet.com

I am off to set up for Birmingham Show tomorrow with J & C.Creations. I will be demonstrating Chocolate Baroque for them, we will be on stand D30 if you are attending so pop over and say Hi and get some inspiration, we would love to see you all.........

Well that's about all for now folks, back to work again.....

Big hugs Lisa.B.x

Baby Fever

Hi there blog people

Following on from my post last week, here is my card with a shadow effect

to stamp on to Neenah card.  I then stamped the word on to a paper from the
Craftwork Cards paper pack called Happy Days
After cutting out the letters, I intended to paper piece them in the usual way, however, I
noticed that it is very easy to create a shadow effect.  I coloured the letters on the Neenah card
using a promarker pen and attached the paper letters with

I then matted and layered on to a large scalloped Craftwork Card blank,
added a bow from the limited edition Paper Bows pad
and drew some dashes around the edges
In the corners, I attached some flower shaped buttons from Woodware
and attached gems to the centres

I hope you have a good week and find some time to try something new
with your crafting, bye for now

It's all about Babies.....

Hi Everyone

Apologies that I did not get to post a blog last week, but there was just so much to do for Lisa's Extravaganza Day that a few things had to be postponed
Anyway, I've been working on the Woodware Clear Magic Baby stamp
available HERE

For a quick and easy card I made a card blank using lilac pearlescent card
and scored a line / border around the edge
I used black onyx Versafine to stamp on to Neenah card and on to
a lilac spotty paper from the Craftwork Cards paper pad called Macaroon
As you can see, I cut out the spotty letters and attached them to the Neenah card
using my new favourite thing - Cosmic Shimmer Dries Clear glue.
For those of you who have not used it before, it really is strong and does not make the paper buckle
I then attached a co-ordinating bow from the
Paper Bows pad plus some card candi
I finished off with a few gems and fine liner dashes

While I was paper piecing this card, I noticed that it is easy to create a shadow effect, so
next week I will show you the card I have created using the same technique in a slightly
different way

Keep on crafting

~Suzanne~

I thought that I would let you know that whilst I was away up at Craftwork Cards I brought back some of the gorgeous new limited addition Paper Bow Pads which are beautiful and so summery. They are very limited, so don't miss out, they are available HERE....

They have 144 die-cut bows in pastel, bright and monochrome colours to co-ordinate with their Macaroon, Happy Days and Black Magic paper packs.
The bows come in 2 different sizes and are so simple to make......

Here are some card ideas using the Paper Bow Pad......

These cards were made by Julie Hickey.......
I love this card, it is so clean and simple but absolutely beautiful......

Another simple but lovely card......

Well that's all for today, I will be back tomorrow with a little more inspiration for the Time Flies collection,

Until then, Keep crafting.....
