A little C.A.S........

Good morning all, Happy Saturday...... 

I thought that I would show you today a few cards that I made for the class last month that are C.A.S, in case you are not familiar with the abbreviation 'Clean and Simple'......

It is amazing how card styles go around and are reborn and the trend at the moment is very C.A.S...... 

Now this stamp set is also one that has been reborn as I first used this about 10 years ago when I was teaching for a craft shop and Woodware have now brought it out again in there Clear Magic Range and I was so pleased as not only is it a lot cheaper than it was before but it is one of my all time favourite Christmas sets, it is called A Winter's Day......

I love the text that is included within the designs and also the text that stands alone with the images as they are so tiny and look very elegant when stamped.....

I 

I used Versafine Onyx Black to stamp my images and embossed them with Wow Clear Sparkle Powder. I then coloured them with Pro-markers......

I added a little Fluffy Stuff and heated it with my heat gun to add a snow effect..... 

I think that you will agree that the script is so dainty and elegant.....

The designs of the stamps are so lovely that you do not need to over do it with papers, just a hint of colour in a matted layer and a hint of mirri card sets it off....

Sue Wilson with Anna Marie Designs......

 

Good morning crafters, how are we today?

 

I thought I would show you today some of the samples that I have been making with the fabulous Sue Wilson Dies and Anna Marie Designs card and die cut trellis.......

 

They are quite CAS which I don't so a lot of but I must admit I really enjoyed making these......

 

 

 

For this first card I used Anna Marie Designs Aquamarine Dottie Card with an overlay of the die cut Trellis......

I also used a matching die cut sentiment

 

I die cut the Classic 3D Bow in white and Aquamarine dottie card and mixed them, I love the look that this gives.......

 

I used the quilled leaves die and cut some white leaves to tuck in to the bow and then added some ready made flowers that I sell in the mobile shop and added a clear rhinestone sparkler to the centre of them......

 

The next card was made in a similar way just using different colours and changing the elements around a bit.....

 

For this one I used Powder Pink Dottie Card and co-ordinated it with Passion Pink Striped Card 

I cut away part of a sheet of the trellis to add an interesting border to the bottom of the card.....

 

I used the Classic 3D bow die in the pink dottie card and then die cut in white card the Lattice 3D bow and again mixed them up. I added a matching sentiment as same as the last card......

 

Again using the Quilled Leaves die in white card and adding some flowers and Clear Rhinestone sparklers to the centres......
