The river Bed..

Yesterday A friend took the Robbie and Garrett to a car show and Shelly was at work so that left me with Ben, Madie and Mylissa.. I thought I would be a good mommy and take them out to eat when I told them where we were going they said I would rather go to MCDOLALDS so I gave in got it to go and drove down to the river to eat our lunch..

It was really to windy to eat out side so we ate in the car..( yes Dale we ate in the car)After lunch we walked down to the river to toss rocks in to it and just enjoy the nature around us.
I tottaly wore the wrong shoes... (Yes I am in desprate need of a new polish on my toes..)Mylissa found this Awsome heart shaped rock..
We then headed back to the car to go home..

When the rest of the kids heard we went to the riverbeds with out them they were a little jealous. We will have to by some kites and go again soon.

How to throw rocks By Madeline..

Madeline , Mylissa, Ben and I went to the river flats this afternoon to skip rocks in the river.

I picked out a rock and started throwing them.. Madeline said thats not how you skip rocks. She said you need the perfect flat smooth rock. I then said well maybe I was not skipping rocks I was just throwing them.. She then with all her attitude said well thats not how you trow rocks in the river . "let me show you how it's done.

I love the quote Always kiss me goodnight.. I have been wanting to put it on my wall for along time... So today I finally did it, I put it on my wall and I love how it looks.
Now I just need my husband home so he can kiss me good night..

I also did some fun sewing stuff that I will show you all later.. It's still raining here so not much else to do except create. I hope you all are haveing a great day today..

It's raining

So what dose this mean? It means a good girl flick and a cup of hot coco.. What girl flick do yo think I am watching? Well let me tell you...

I could watch this movie a thousand times and never get sick of it.. Noah and Ally make me fall in love with them over and over again. I think I love them so much because this is what I picture Dale doing for me if I ever lost my mind. I fell blessed that I have found my Noah in Dale he is truly my best friend and the one and only Love of my life.. I think that is why I am haveing such a hard time while he is gone my other half is missing. I can't wait until he is with me again then I will feel whole.

Short and Sassy

So I had my 8 week hair apointment, I told my hair stylest that I wanted bangs and shorter in the back..After she cut the bangs I hated it so did she, so I said well lets cut it shorter..
This was the end result.. Once she was done cutting and styling it She smiled and said I think you are going to like this..I do it's fun and sexy and sassy.. It's a little bit shorter than I am comfotabel with but I still love it.. Who knows maybe I will go shorter and blond next time..

Grilling and Chilling

Our neighbors and I decided to BBQ today so we put on my aprons and started up the grill.

Mike was our grill master for the evening sporting one of my Cleo dot apron, Robbie was close by for morel support.

The kids all went on a short walk around the block while the food was cooking.


When they got back they where thirsty so they put their names on their cups so there would be no mix ups.
After dinner we all chilled out
and played a little

Garrett had fun going down the rocky hill on Ben's tractor

And Ben had fun on Garrett's skate board.

Then it was time to head on in for the evening.

Dude I mean mom I am not ready yet can we have to 10 more minutes..

And that concludes our day..

A time to rember..

I found this writing in Mylissas room yesterday. I was very touched by her words, and thought it would be fitting to share this memorial day weekend.
I love and miss you baby boy ..
I hope you all have a nice memorial day weekend..

William's Baby Blanket

The deep warming memories of that tiny blanket lay silently in my head. I can't keep those winter memories that I had with the blanket out of my head.
I have the memory of holding my baby brother in my arms with the silky.soft,baby blue blanket.
It was Williams blanket, my youngest brother,he would be turning four this year but he has passed away. I rember in every picture my mother took that same blanket was attached to William. Those sweet memories with him were so precious. This blanket makes William closer and clearer, so that is why the blanket is so special to me.

Today the blanket is still the same; my second youngest brother keeps it safe with him. Ben sleeps with the blanket sometimes, and the other times it is in the linen closet hanging around the house. Every chance I get, I take the blanket and hold it in my arms and partake of those same precious memories that I have had before with the same child who once laid upon that blanket. If the blanket isn't in those previous places, then it is most likely in the wash. I dont think I would be able to fit in to the washer to hold the blanket.

I hope in the future that I can keep the blanket. If I am able to keep it, I would make sure my children would have it as babies. When they grow older, I want them to know the importance of the blanket. Maybe when I die I can be buried with the blanket, knowing the importance it was to me. All I know is that it's going to last forever. No matter where it is, it will still be in my memories.

schools out for the summer!!

Today is the last day of school!!! I think I am just as excited as the kids... Tonight we are going to celebrate and have fun and stay up as long as we want and eat junk and watch movies..
I love summer vacations it is always fun at our our house we never really go anywhere we just have a lot of fun being together. I always hate when summer comes to an end and they have to go back to school.Here is a pic of mylissa she graduated from middle school and will be in high school next year.. It's going to be crazy when the kids go back because all of my kids will be in school. Benny Boy will be in kindergarten and Shelly will be a senior.

I wanted to share these super cute bracelets I made tonight but after taking 50 pix none of them showed how fabulous these baby bracelets look.

So I guess you are just going to have to take my word. I promise they are super cute! I can hardly wait to see them on my friends baby girl Noella sweet little wrist.. I am haveing so much fun makeing pink baby girl stuff.. Well I am off to make more . I will have to show you it all later..

I have referred to this deployment that Dale is on as a long vacation..

I guess this picture proves it.. Ok maybe not because he is in his uniform, the truth is I am just really jealous that I am not there with him.. He looks just so handsome standing under a palm tree .. I have always been a sucker for a man in uniform.. I love and miss you..

I love good things in the mail.

This is the Emiline apron.. I have loved this pattern since the first time I saw it a year ago. I tried ordering it shortly after it was printed but it sold out befor I could get my hands on it. So I hmmd and hodd until saturday when I received this an Emiline apron in the mail from a swap that I was in. Miss Monica made this for me . I was so so happy when I saw it I just squealed with delight. So of course I had to order the pattern today.. I have the perfect fabric to make my self one..

I dare you!!

This is to prove I am securer in my self and who I am.. My girls took this pic last Sunday . When we saw the pic we all started laughing and Mylissa pointed out that I looked like a witch. Rochelle then said well we know that pic wont end up on your blog. I said you are dang right it won't. Then Kadie said I dare you.. Well those who know me know I love a good dare...
Well I do look quite stunning if you squint your eyes just right.. LOL

Moonlight kisses

I love this purse... The fabric I used is from Heidi Grace Midnight kisses line and the pattern is one I made up..

I lined it with fun polka dot fabric and added a cute pocket and used a magnet snap to fasten it.I think the rounded shape of the handles and the fun button accents..

It was fun and easy to make, I like easy. I also like the size of the bag it's not to small and not to large.. Plus it's my favorite color combo.
