A Spooon Full of Sugar. Week# 20

I don't want to say anything in the morning until I don't tell her first , but I made this card for my dear friend Hanne. Today it's her Birthday!! Happy birthday Hanne!!! Love you!!


Hi Everyone,

Here comes another great week for "A Spoon Full of Sugar" Challenge Blog. This time you have to make a card using pink and green colors... it is this easy. Please check out the DT creations because all of them have incredible ideas.

The stamps are from Magnolia-Heaven Collection. And talking about Magnolia ...I know some of you had problems in the past buying the stamps directly from the original store. The same happened to me also, and I am still waiting for a summer kit that never arrived. For those of you who might be interested, I found an on line store to purchase Magnolia stamps in which, importantly, they have an excellent customer service. I ordered some Magnolia stamps and 3 days later I was receiving my stamps. How cool!! The name of the store is ROSES ON PAPER.

Getting back to the card...the punch is from Martha Stewart (Don't forget that I'm offering that punch in my Blog Candy)
Embellishment: Prima Flowers, Drew Drops, a little piece of lace, brads and a lot of stickles, of course :))
Ink: I colored all the image with Distress Ink from Tim Holtz.

Inside the card I use Prima Flowers and also two of the stamps of the Grunge Collection from Stempelglede.

I can't believe it ...I did it!!!

Oh wow... I'm still jumping on my chair and dancing around the house!!! I can't believe I was picked to be part of the Silly Monkey DT. WOW!!! And the good part is that Bryony decided to take not just one, but two people... she was so generous granting this great opportunity to Fran and myself too. Congratulations Fran!!!

I can't wait to work with Bryony, Nikki, Marlene and Fran. It is so exciting!!!
All of them are very talented and have amazing creations, so for me is a real honor to be part of this team. Thank you!!!

I know Bryony had a tough decision because all the finalist were incredible talented and had gorgeous cards and projects.

Silly Monkeys DT call...

I made this card for a DT call at "Silly Monkey". I was so glad when I saw my card in their website today because that means that I made it through the first round. I think there will be two rounds in total. I know is a tough decision to pre-select among so many talented ladies applying for this position. Anyway, whatever happen, I am enjoying making this card for them.

For the first round you have to design a card following the wonderful sketck provided by my dear friend Nikki, who belongs to their DT.













I used one of my favorite stamps from High Hopes, this cute Elephant Ellie. Inside I use one of the stamps of the "Grunge Colection" from Stempelglede.
The papers and the butterfly punch are from the Martha Stewart Collection.
Flowers from Prima and the rest of the details from stash.
