Willow Sketchie Designs - 6th October

Hiya,

Gosh can't believe it's that time of week again, it's time for another Willow Sketchie Challenge!!!

Firstly, we have to congratulate the Winner of last weeks Challenge, and the Winner was Sandra, yeah!!!  Although you were all winners.  Sandra you card was amazing and the image was fantastic, once again, well done.

Anyway onto this weeks Challenge, our lovely host is Hazel.  The Design Team had to us the new CD, Walter and Winnie does Christmas.  Which is available to pre-order on the Willow Designs Website.  Well our host, Hazel designed this Sketch, she added another component that we had to interpret into the designs.

Before we get to see my card, it's a fantastic prize again, lets take a look:

Well its on with my card:

The Image I chose to do for this card was Underneath the Christmas Tree, again I used the Pre-coloured version, but I finished off with Pro-markers and Glitter!!!  The Design Papers came from the CD Walter and Winnie Does Christmas.  I added a embossed round circle, it was placed in a folder then placed on the Big Shot.  The Sentiment was in my stash, I'm sorry.  I also added a Ribbon which came from Create and Craft.

I then added some Snowflakes, as Hazel suggested!!!!

Now remember
  1. We do not discriminate anyone for using their Crafty Stash, but if you have any Willow Designs we would love to see them.
  2. You can rotate or flip the Sketch, re-size the elements as long as the original Sketch Layout can be recognised.
  3. The Challenge runs from Thursday at 09:00am (UK Time) until 20:00pm (UK Time) on the following Wednesday.
  4. You can enter up to 3 times per Sketch / Layout.

Sketch Saturday - Week #175

Hi ya Everyone,

I've been meaning to post this one, but never got round to it, good job it's before Saturday.  Been busy today, as I went to my Stroke meeting, I met someone new and to here his story was fantastic, it's hard to believe people's story's can be so different to mine.  Again blew my mind.

Well this card is for Sketch Saturday, so I need to get on with it, here's my card:

The Image is from The Stamping Boutique, it was a freebie, fantastic!!!  I coloured it in used my Pro-markers, finished off with a little bit of snow and Glitter!!!  The Design Papers I can't remember where I got those from as they came out of my Stash.  The Sentiment came from Kanban, as did the Pearls.

You can see the snow that I put around the window, and the glitter on the candle, and also the lovely felt snowflakes in the corner.

I would like to enter this in Sketch Saturday - Week #175

Well I had better go

Fab 'n' Funky - Challenge #92

Hi Everyone,

Wow!!!  You did it again, so many brilliant entries, you make it hard to pick the three favourite entries, gosh I don't know how they do it.  Well congratulations to the 3, but you are all winners!!!

And so on with the next challenge, this challenge was a Recipe, the Recipe was as follows:
  • 1 Ribbon
  • 2 Patterned Papers
  • 3 Buttons, Brads or Gems
Well our Sponsor this week is Di's Digi Downloads, this is the most fantasic store.  Everything is downloadable, I could spend all day just looking around (not sure Mr Bank Manager would want me to).

Di's Digi Downloads

And so on with my card:

The Image I used was one from Di's Digi Downloads, it is coloured in in Pro-markers, and finished off with a tiny bit of Glitter!!!  The Design Papers I used, I was only allowed to use two, how difficult was choosing the two.  I decided upon my two, I think they came as a free sample within a book, but sorry don't know for sure.  I then had to pick three things, like buttons, brads or gems, I picked three gems, but it seemed to develop more and I tried to keep it down.

Here is a close up of my three choice.

Now it's your turn to create a card / project.

But the main thing is to have fun!!!

Sweet Sketch Wednesday - #119 or #120

Hi Everyone,

This morning, I've been up dale and down!!!  That's if we have any dales where I'm from, doubt it!!!  No I've been to the Doctor's and then to the job centre, and then a quick walk round the market then home, that was my morning, was your's the same???

When I got in I went onto the tintinet and so I picked to do Sweet Sketch Wednesday and when I went onto their blog, they've got another great competion running, so go over and try and win one.

Anyway onto my card:

The Image is one of those Sugar Nellie stamps that is totally lovely.  She is coloured in using Pro-markers and just a little Glitter Pen.  The Design Papers are a combination of Papermania - Temptations and My Mind's Eye - Bohemia.  I then added a Ribbon through the centre which came from Create and Craft.  The Gems came from Kanban.

I then added some flowers, which seemed to go.  I decided to leave out doing a Sentiment and so you can send it for any reason.

I would like to put this one into the Challenge Sweet Sketch Wednesday - 119 or 120 (confusing cause on your diagram / sketch it says 120 and then in the writing it says 119).

If you would like a go at Winning a Miche Bag then go and visit and play along too!!!

Bye

The Image for this one had to be one for the summer, so I chose a Tilda from Magnolia, a lovely image.  It is coloured with Pro-markers and finished off with a Glittery Pen.  The Design Papers came from Papermania - Temptations.

You can see a close up of the Flowers that I added, I cut out the leaves using a Woodware Punch.

Willow Sketchie Challenge - 15th September

Hi Everyone,

Well it's Thursday, two things it's nearly the weekend and more importantly, it's time for another Willow Sketchie Challenge  and the worst thing is it's my turn to host, talk about nerve wracking!!!  Firstly we must congratulate the Winner of last weeks Challenge, Teegs so congratulations to her your entry was lovely.  As all your entries were, and you are all winners in my eyes, but there has to be one.  So here goes (no turning back now!!), and have you seen the prize, a prize like we're giving makes me want to enter, I know not now.  Oh well.

Well as I mentioned before it's my turn to host the event, so I came up with the Sketch below, the drawing isn't that good, but hey I'm still learning, and it's my first ever time hosting an event.  And the Design Team as well as working with my Sketch had to work with All I Want for Christmas is...... from Willow Designs

And so on with my card:

The Image I used was All I Want for Christmas is....... from Willow Designs, you get both a pre-coloured together with a line drawing.  I chose the pre-coloured version.  At this point, I decided to do something which I hadn't seen done, a Shaker Card.  So inside the shaker element I used some Flower Soft and also some Glitter!!!  The Design Papers I can't remember where they came from.  I added some Gems just to the top of the Design.

I added a Ribbon and a Charm, which I think looks really good.

Remember you don't have to use Willow Designs but we would love to see them.  You have until 20:00pm next Wednesday 21st September to get your entry in.  You need to post it on the Willow Sketchie Challenge.

Well it's over to you.

Anne-Marie x x

P.S Have you seen the prize for next week, wow!!!!  Makes me wish I was you.
