Tuesday Morning Sketches #118 & Papertake Weekly Challenge

Hi Everyone,

This morning I started off fine, tidying and cleaning, and then, bang, I stopped.  So I have half a tidy craft room, but I soon messed it up again while making my card.  Try a bit harder tomorrow, but then again, it's the anniversary of my Stroke, and I said that everything would be fine, but it's not, I still have to gain the movement back in my right arm.  But I am not down.

I was looking at the Web today and I came across Tuesday Morning Sketches and also Papertake Weekly Challenge, and I thought that I'd have a go.

Well onto the messy room's card!!!

The Sweet Stop Sketches - SSS128

Hi Everyone,

I'm here with my second (to see the first please scroll down) post of today.  Well how are you all doing in this heat, October can't be, we must be living down under!!!  Well for the second post I chose to do a favourite of mine The Sweet Stop Sketches, they are going back to last October getting the Sketches from there.

On with the show then, this is my card (anyone hungry!!):

The Image I chose to do for this one was a lovely Cupcake, and it came from Kanban.  It had been lying around for ages and I had never made a card with it so I thought it was time.  It is coloured in in Polychromos Pencils and then blended with Sansodor.  Of course I finished it off with Glitter!!!  The Design Papers, again I'm sorry I can't remember where they came from, they were in my Stash.  The Sentiment came from the sheet of Cupcakes.  I also added a piece of Ribbon, which came from Create and Craft and also, I added some pink Pearls from Kanban.



I also added some flowers that I already had, and also I punched two sets of leaves, from Woodware which were also added.

Fab 'n' Funky Challenge - Challenge # 91

Hi Everyone,

Wow!!!  It's amazing, actually your all amazing, I have never seen so many entries.  In my eyes your all winners of the challenge, but 3 had to picked.  Congratulations to the 3.

And so on with the next Challenge, this Challenge is all about those hard cards you have to make, for example male birthday, sympathy and good luck.  The ones you have to make at the last minute.

Well our sponsor this time is The Stamping Boutique, they are a company which provides Digi Stamps as well as Stamps can be brought and sent to you.  Go over to their website, your get hooked, I know this for a fact as I did.

And onto my Card:

The Image I used was one from The Stamping Boutique, it is basically one like Noah's Ark.  I coloured it in with Polychromo Pencils then blended it together with Sansodor, and I finished it off with the odd dab of Glitter!!!  The Design Papers I used were from Create and Craft, it doesn't say what it is but looking at it, it looks like it's paper for a baby girls. I then added a Patch with a Giraffe on it, I have to say it came from my Mum, and was in my Craft Box.  I think it looks fantastic. 

I then added 2 Ribbons to the card, and to the bottom Ribbon I added 3 Buttons.

Now its your turn to create a card / project.

Tuesday Morning Sketches - #112 and also Nutcrafters- Challenge 1 - Autumn is in the Air

Hi All,

Time has flown past today, I actually told my Mum that I wasn't feeling well and so sorry the cards would take a back seat.  But hey I made a card, still feeling ill though....  Today I looked at Tuesday Morning Sketches and also Nutcrafters were having their 1st Challenge, so combining the two was a good idea.  Well onto the Challenge.

This is my card:

Wow!!! I really liked doing this card.  Now for the Image I used the Free Digi which Nutcrafters

were giving out, thank you!!  I coloured in the Free Digi with Polychromo's Pencils and then blended together with Sansodor.  The Design Papers came from Papermania - Antique Cream Creative Tones.  The Gems came from Kanban.

The Flowers came from QVC.  I punched some leaves using my Woodware Punch.
