Hi Everyone, I hope you are well, it's a lovely Sunday afternoon, and I have been looking around the web and buying things, so I thought it was about time I stopped and made a Card.  The Card I made was for the Chef, where we have our Stroke Support Group.  He made us the most wonderful dinner, it was four courses and I ate every bit of it, it was delicious.  So I was asked to make him a Card to say thank you. I hope that you are all well???  I wish it would stop raining, that's all it does, rain. rain. rain, rain, rain!!!  Well, today (this is a scheduled post, so hopefully all has gone well) I am at the hospital, it's OK there's nothing wrong with me, it's my Mum this time.  She is going to have her eye worked on, hopefully it will give her some more sight out of her left eye.  She has Retinal Vein Occlusion, all I know they are going to have to inject her in her eye, I think at that point I'll be downstairs getting a coffee!!!

Willow Sketchie Challenge - 28th June - 'Sparkle and Shine'

Hi Everyone,
How are you doing today???  The weather has been really nice (for a change!!!), I was saying to you last week that I had been taking part in a Stroke Trial, well today's the last day of being wired up and doing all the exercises, I now have started seeing tiny improvements, only little ones but it's a bonus.  Still have to go for my MRI scan on Friday, this is followed by 3 follow up appointments, but I think it has been successful.  I was also saying about my Mum, that last week we had to go to the Non-Hodgekins Lymphoma appointment, well I can reveal after months / a year of worrying she is now in Remission, you have no idea that the weight has been lifted.
Now, we are looking for a selection of additional DT members to join our expanding challenge blog.What do we ask of our DT members?You will need to produce 1 card per week, you will need to have an updated blog and above all love what we do at Willow Designs.  In particular, we are looking for those crafter's who love to colour!
Willow Designs has been steadily expanding over the last few years and are excited to be exhibiting at our very first Hobbycrafts at Birmingham NEC this November. I hope your OK, I am fine.  This weather is getting me down though, I have had to pull out my old Winter clothes I am so cold.  I wouldn't say anything but a couple of days ago, it was the 1st day of Summer.  Well, they say that it got to get warmer by next week, I hope so.
Well, I have to go to the Sobell House Team's work afternoon tea party, how nice of them to treat their volunteers this way, it's lovely.  I have been a volunteer for 6 months now, and I am really enjoying it, I volunteer on a Tuesday from 10am to 2pm.  It's such good fun.

I hope everyone is well???  Well, not much has happened to me over the past couple of days, people have been so busy watching the Celebrations for the Queen's Jubilee.  I celebrated on Sunday as I went down my Uncle's and Aunt's, could of been better weather, but we carry on, don't we.  For the other two day I watched the coverage on the TV, it was fantastic.
