:: Top Ten Layouts and Cards 2017 ::

One of my goals for 2018 is to create more layouts again! I only created 12 layouts during 2017 and that is way too few! This post is a mix of card and layouts. First five layouts I liked the most and then five cards. Hope you like them all :)

:: My very first project for Wild Orchid Crafts ::

I´m so happy to show you my very first dt project for Wild Orchid Crafts! I decided to make a layout with purple and lilac colors because they are Viggos favorite colors. I used a paper from Bo Bunny called Garden Party Fragrant. For my background I used two different stencils. One is from Prima and called Poppies and the other is from Tim Holtz and called Stripes. I used Prima Heavy Gesso with the stencils. To get more color at my background I used Glimmer Mist Pop Rocks and Fully Purple from Tattered Angels. I also used Distress Paint Shaded Lilac. The stamps are from Prima and Darkroom door. For my stamping I used Archival Ink Jet Black.

 In my first kit from Wild Orchid Crafts I got a lot of beautiful flowers and some cute embellishments! 

The flowers I used for my layout are called:

 I love to use thread or Sissal together with flowers! Here I used both black and gold thread.

 I painted my white doves called GST-172 with black Gesso and the nwith my fingertips I added Prima Metallique Wax Vintage Gold. The black twigs behind my flower are chipboards from Wycinanka painted with black gesso. 

:: More Than Words and Scrapki September Challenges ::

 I made this layout for a challenge over at More Than Words and Scrapki. This months at More than words the creative challenge was Grunge style and the word was Fearless. A very fun challenge and I really love how my layout turned out! You can see the board image here and follow the LINK to find the challenge.

At Scrapki the challenge was the word Journey. I was thinking about the journey in life my very beloved boy will have to make. I will give him all all my knowledge and a fundation of love. I hope that will be enough to make him a good person!

 I started by using a grey christmas paper from Papirdesign called Vinterstrikk. I added Gesso with my brayer and also more Gesso with a stencil called Sunrise Checker from Prima. I used different stamps from Prima with Archival Ink Jet Black.

Then I added different strips of Washitape. I wanted it more narrow in the middle so I cut them a bit shorter there. I added even more stamping to get a really grunge look! First I was thinking about adding some red color but I ended up with teal instead. I found a really nice spray from Tattered Angels called Glimmer Mist Frozen Lake.

 I wanted lots of texture and layers and used different die-cuts I found in my studio. To get the same color and add more of the nice teal I stained my edges and sprinkled the mist here and there.

 I used both twine and thread to clarify the messy style. I also sprinkled with both white and black to get more contrasts. Framing the words with some doodling makes them pop a bit!

 I wanted to play with my title a bit and get the word fearless included in a fun way. I ended up with using some stickers and this chipboard from Blue Fern Studios.

:: Prima MIP June ::

As always I love to create after Primas challenges! This is my take on the June Make It Prima Challenge. I´m so pleased with my layout! I actually love it! And that´s an amazing feeling!

I made my background with Gesso, a Stencil, Stamps and Mist all from Prima.

I found some older flowers and I also used some from the latest collections. I really like how you can combine different collections so well!

My fishing nets is actually a authentic fishing nets! The fishing nets and the seashells are the only things that are not by the brand Prima Marketing. I love my Art-stones and here I used the medium size. I got the small and this size a while ago and I think I need to try out the mega ones also!

:: Make it Prima May Challenge - Smile ::

Only a couple og hours before bedtime I made this layout for Primas challenge Make it Prima in May. I had no absolutely no good light so my photos is really bad. Well, well I´m happy I finally made one of Primas challenegs that I like so much!

This is the Mood board I was inspired from.

 For My background I played with my new Prima Watercolors I got from Viggo at Mothers Day and I really loved them! After I was done with my Water colors I used some stamps from Prima in different colors and black.

 I used lots of different flowers from Prima both from brand new collections and a bit older ones.

 I just love this photo of Molle smiling! Look at his teeth.

 After adding some Art Stones I painted them with my Prima Water Colors!

:: Layout for Pysslotekets April challenge ::

We´re having a challenge at Pysslotekets Facebook group and I made a inspiration layout after my own sketch and color scheme. I always think it´s harder to create after my own sketches than others?

This time the colors made me leave the romantic flower style for a bit and work with lots of contrasts.

The photos are from Instagram and a day when Viggo, me and Molle played in the garden.

I started with a black cardstock. I used two different stencils from Tim Holtz called Striped and Splotches. For the stripes I used Gesso and for the Splotches I used Dylusion Paint Sqeezed Orange. Then I cut strips from Bo Bunny Life in Colors, Kaisercarft Hanami garden and Bo Bunny Petal Lane. I played a bit with a black and a white pen. I did some fussy cutting with the paper called Posies from Bo Bunny. I colored some parts of the flowers with a Copic pen. I painted my chipboards from Blue Fern Studios with the orange paint I used with the Stencil. Last I sprinkled Distress Paint Picket Fence and Dylusion Paint Sqeezed Orange over my page.

:: Just Embrace Spring - Layout ::

I totally love this layout! I have worked with Prima Love Clippings and Prima Wild and Free. It´s DT work for Pyssloteket. 

This photo is so cute! My boy deep in the Lilac bushes and totally embrace spring!

Lots of layers! Flowers from Love Clippings and Wild and Free and also flairs from UmWow Studio. I also used black mini doilies from Doodlebug.

I build my page with lots of paper strips. Some with one edge run throw a Martha Stewart Edge punch called Doily Lace. I have used stamps from Darkroom Door and Prima. As usually I used my Archival Ink ink pad in Tuxedo Black. The embrace spring is printed on my computer and then I used one Copic Marker to get almost the same color as the word JUST. You find most of the supplies at Pyssloteket.

From one of the papers I cut out this word and then built the whole layout from that style.

I used Prima Gesso and different Mists to get my backgound as I wanted.

:: A bit grumpy but still so darn cute ::

This photo is one year old and I can´t belive how fast he grows! He looks so grown up!

I love to play with my titles! Here I used different fonts and Thickers from American Crafts.

I used flowers from Primas collections called Wild and Free and Love Clippings. They go very well together! To get some bling I used Primas Druzy Stones and I also find some feathers in my stash.

To get some contrast I sprinkled some Acrylic Ink from Liquitex in Carbon Black.
