Merry, Merry Christmas everyone!!
I think I fell off the earth for a while. Have been having a time getting my charts the way I want to sell them and still don't have them fixed so will just work on them after Christmas. They are designed, it is just in the set up! What a time, what a time!
I do hope you are all ready for Christmas. I am soo excited. This is my favorite time of year. I just love all the music and decorations and of course.....the food!! Our grandchildren are all excited about "Santa" coming next week. We went to a Christmas program for our Granddaughter last night. She is in kindergarten. She is 5. I was so proud! She is going to the school our son went to when he was in elementary school and it took me right back. It just seemed like yesterday that I was bringing him there. Time just goes sooo fast. Of course, the school had hardly changed, except the teachers! lol And probably if I looked real close some of them would still be there. Don't you just wish you could go back in time sometimes. It would be nice.
I remember so much about Christmas when I was a child. I loved going with my Dad to pick out our cedar Christmas trees. It was always so cold outside and we would bundle up with our winter coats on and he would take me to the tree lot and let me pick out that special tree. They always smelled sooo good. The people selling the trees would always have a fire burning that you could warm yourself up by as you were looking for that special tree. Then when we would get home he would cut off the bottom and put it in the stand. I still have a lot of those decorations that we would put around the bottom of the tree that I set out each year as a reminder of times past. My Mother loved to bake pies and cakes and my grandmother always spent Christmas eve with us. I was the kind of child that could never sleep on Christmas eve because I was waiting for SANTA to come. So I would toss and turn ALL night long while my grandmother slept with me in my room ---how she slept I don't know! I couldn't wait for Christmas morning and I knew that Santa had come because the stocking would be hung on my bedroom door with a bell and filled with goodies. Mother would come in singing "Here comes Santa Clause, Here comes Santa Clause!" I carried that tradition on down to my three children and they are doing the same with their children too. It is something how traditions in families are. I know each of you have special traditions in your families. Things that you remember that are really so unforgettable and that you have carried on too. Christmas really is about families and children. Even if you don't have children and your family has passed....friends can be family. In fact, sometimes, friends can be closer than some families. Whatever the situation in your life....just rejoice this year that you are celebrating HIS birth, our Lord and Saviour, which is really what it is all about and that we have a chance to share HIS good news with someone, whether it be someone you know or a stranger. Let's all take this coming year and strive to become more like Him. I hope you have the best Christmas ever. I hope to do better in communicating with you all. Please forgive me.
Here is a free chart for you this Christmas season. I hope you like it.
God Bless You!
