12 Blessings SAL update

I haven't stitched as much over the past week. But have still managed another square - yay! Not sure what the white mark is on the green line - must have been a bit of fluff. Its definately not there (after a mild panic attack I had to check :p)

update time

On Friday I finished another Christmas Blessing, this makes 5 done

Then on Monday I did not cross stitch at all, I had to have

a procedure done called a Colonoscopy.

Not very fun but necessary in our family. It took a lot out of me

so I slept most of the day after I got home.

I decided that I would make Tuesday my LK day,

but I had my little grand daughter all day so while

watching CSI last night I started a new LK that I have

been wanting to do.

Some done is better than none. I love cross stitching

Update on my 12 Blessings piece :) At the rate I'm going with this one, I'll definately have it finished and framed in time for Christmas!

I managed to finish “Hope” last night…whilst glued to the Great British Bake Off…lol

lastest blessing

I finished blessing #4 last night, had a few problems with this one. First I decided to start with WDW whitewash, ok tried to pull out two  strands and it knoted  up. cut another piece of floss and off I go stitching I get the top of the roof and beside the church done and realize I did them in white and they should have been gunmetal.I figured I would keep stitching and decided later if I wanted to take the stitches out and redo it. After I got it all done I decided to leave it. And I am a half of a stitch off somewhere and I think it is in the lower left hand corner.

I completed 12 Blessings number 2 this evening…and started on number 3…

Stitched on 32c Murano Taupe with DMC’s as charted…but jiggled round a little!

Since I took this photo, I've finished the charity square, so now its two down and ten to go. Must say I'm loving this pattern! Can't wait to get it finished and framed (hopefully just in time for Christmas this year).

I am still around even if I haven't posted for awhile. For the past 3 weeks I have been fighting bronchitis and it is still not much better. I have another Dr. appointment on Tuesday and hpefully they will get me on the mend, I am so tired of coughing!
Any way on Friday I got one more of my 12 Christmas Blessings done.

I know it's not the greatest picture, but you can see that I completed it.

One down... Eleven to go!

I've finally made a start on my 12 Blessings piece. My fabric arrived on Friday so I've spent a couple of days stitching it. I'm going to do it as one big piece rather than ornaments.

I've just noticed by looking at the photo that I haven't finished that horizontal line properly yet.. Funny how I can look at it while i'm stitching and not notice.

The downside of starting this one is I suspect my Cat Lessons will take a back seat for a while. While I'm here though, I'll post a pic of the progress.

Finally a Start

I have finally made a start on my SAL “12 Blessings”, I am stitching it as 12 separate pieces to make up as ornaments…I chose “Love” first…

Friday's SAL

I decided to the 12 Christmas Blessing, and I started on Family on Friday and finished Friday evening. I also decided that I will be making them into individual ornaments as I do them.

Not sure what I will work on this evening when I get back from running my errands.

Maybe I should work on finishing some stuff that I all ready have stitched.

That sounds like a good Idea!

Official SAL Project is.....

Well, it's a tie really!  LOL.  So our official SAL project will be.....both of them!  You may stitch either or both of the designs if you choose :)  I will start the SAL in August to give us time to order the charts/supplies needed.  If you would like to join please leave a comment on this post and I will add your name to the list. 

**Please note**- this SAL is different from our L*K Stiching Day, this is where we all stitch one of the projects above and report our weekly progress for all to see.

I will be stitching both projects, I already have the charts and supplies for the 12 Blessings but I need to order the last half of charts and fabric long enough for the Halloween Rules.  Thankfully Canada Post has been ordered back to work starting tomorrow so I just put my order in at 123stitch!  Hopefully the backlog won't take too long to clear and I will have my supplies by August.
