Unusual coloured snowflake, and exciting news!

Good evening all!
So if you popped by last night or earlier today, you will have seen me mention the new Spring/Summer catalogue, which launches tomorrow! You will also remember that I said I would have more news today? Well I have!

But you'll have to wait until after I show another of my Christmas cards. I was asked to make some 'different' coloured cards, and this is just one of them...

I decided that I would try Hello Honey and Rich Razzelberry...can't get much more different right?! I die cut a snowflake from the Snowflake Card Thinlits Dies into my top layer, and stamped my sentiment from Endless Wishes, also in Rich Razzelberry and Hello Honey.

I coloured some Silver Glimmer Paper using a Rich Razzelberry Stampin' Write Marker and popped it behind the snowflake...it's very sparkly in real life! I finished with a Basic Rhinestone.

You have until 10.55pm tonight to order from the Autumn Winter catalogue, so do get in quick if there is anything you have your eye on!

Ok so you want to hear the other awesome news right??

Well here goes...
Along with the launch of the Spring/Summer catalogue, I am also very excited to tell you about the best time in the Stampin' Up! year!

More Kinda Eclectic

Hi everyone!
As I promised yesterday, here is another card I have made using the Kinda Eclectic stamp set.

First of all, I stamped the leaves in Mossy Meadow, stamping off in between each stamping, to give some depth to the colour. I then added a Bermuda Bay butterfly, for which I used the Elegant Butterfly Punch to punch out.

The split sunburst was created by placing a piece of card onto my card blank, then stamping onto the card front, then when the spare card was taken away, there was room for the sentiment!

I finished with a few gems and there it is!

So last night we went to play on the 2p machines and discovered that we could also win prize tickets, which got Keiran very excited! Guess where we're off to now?? ;)
Enjoy the rest of your evening!

I Love Lace!!

Hello!
It's Thursday which means it's time for a new challenge at CAS-Colours and Sketches, and we have a fabby colour combo this week, given to us by Louise...

I do love this colour combo, but I haven't used it for a while so I initially struggled with it. Then I remembered my new background stamp...

This stunning stamp is I Love Lace and I stamped it in Basic Black...doesn't it look full of texture??

I then wrapped the Hello Honey Stitched Satin ribbon around my stamped panel and added a bow. The sentiment is from Lots of Thanks and I punched it using the Label Bracket punch. To create the matting, I punch two shapes from black card, cut each in half through the points, then placed one piece at each edge...isn't it effective? I finished with a little pearl.

This is what I used...

Wondrous Thanks!

Hello everyone!
Did you have a good weekend?? Although I was working, I had a lovely date night with Mike on Saturday...it's lovely to spend quality time together after a busy week!

Last week I had a very productive day playing with some of the new Autumn/Winter catalogue products, and here is another one of them...and it's not a Christmas card!

Don't you love the way the light shines through the sentiment??

I wanted to use the Wondrous Wreath bundle for something other than a seasonal card this time, just to show how versatile it is. And it is a one layer card!

I used So Saffron for the first stamping and Hello Honey for the second. I did stamp each colour off first to give a more subtle effect. I then stamped the little flowers, in Blackberry Bliss, several times with one inking before die cutting with the matching Framelit. I also cut the middle out of the wreath and then stamped the sentiment, from Lots of Thanks, in Basic Gray, positioning it perfectly using my Stamp-a-ma-jig.

Here is what I used...
I am entering my card into the challenge at Colour Q this week...

I hope you have a lovely Monday planned...I am working, gym, school meeting then teatime! Haha it's fun to be busy! ;)
Have a good one!

Pretty engagement using Everything Eleanor

I had a request for an engagement card last week, so I dug out my Hearts Framelits and this is what I made...

One of my favourite stamp set is Everything Eleanor, simply because it is so girly and has such a soft feel about it. I stamped the swirls in Lost Lagoon onto some printed vellum from my stash before adding a strip of Soft Sky Seam Binding.

I then printed a sentiment in MDS and die cut it and another heart, then embossed the bigger heart with the Pretty Print Embossing folder, which is still available in the Clearance Rack for only £4.49! It is, and probably always will be my favourite ever embossing folder!

The flowers were stamped onto Vellum in Hello Honey, then I used my fab, super sharp Paper Snips to fussy cut them out. I also tucked a fussy cut swirl between them. I finished with three pearls for elegance.

What do you think of this one? Pretty isn't it? I do love the softness of these two colours together.

Here is what I used...
I was sat in my craft room the other day, making thank you gifts for my lovely customers, and I realised just how many lovely customers I have! I thoroughly enjoy making them something to say thank you...a little pressie or just a card...just something to let them know how much I appreciate them! That is one of the best things about being a demonstrator...all the lovely people I get to meet! :)

Have a wonderful Tuesday!

Hello Love in the Moonlight!

Hello and happy Monday!
I have a change from cards made using Christmas stamps today, and it's a lovely fresh colour too!

This card uses the very sweet Hello Love Hostess stamp set and some of the designer paper from the Moonlight DSP stack.

I used Hello Honey, Lost Lagoon and Smoky Slate inks for the stamping. Inside I stamped 'it's your birthday', also in Smoky Slate.

I used the sketch at Create with Connie and Mary for my inspiration...

Here is what I used...

I do love using the hostess sets...they are such a bargain when you consider that they are free when you place an order or host a workshop with orders over £150. If you would like to know more about hosting a workshop, please do contact me...I will be very happy to help!

Have a lovely evening and see you tomorrow!

In This Together...

Good morning!
Have you got over the excitement of yesterday's catalogue release yet? I have, just about! I had loads of orders, especially taking advantage of my BOGOF sale! If you would like to know how to get your FREE stamps from the brand new catalogue, please click here.

Today I am going to show you something using the brilliant In This Together stamps set, with a little bit of water colouring and some of the new In Colours! I made a magnetic shopping list...

The new colours I used are Blackberry Bliss, Tangelo Twist and Hello Honey...aren't they lush?? See the brand new ribbon too...it's really luxurious!

I used Stazon to stamp the image onto Watercolor card, then used my Watercolor Pens to colour the image. I do rather like it!

This stamp set is now available to buy through my online shop, and if you choose one of my retired items you could have this set for FREE!

Also, anyone who places an order with me before the end of July will receive a copy of the new catalogue for FREE, as long as I haven't already sent you one.

Have a lovely Wednesday and see you tomorrow!
