Page Maps!

I am SO excited - this month, one of my pages has been published in the May newsletter for www.pagemaps.com! It's one of my favorite sites, and to get to create one of the samples was a huge deal for me! I'm super excited about it, especially about the picture I used. It's of my grandma, my mom, me, and my sister, and it's one of my favorite pictures in years. (it was taken in 2004 at my sister's engagement party)

Disney World

Well, even though we went to Disney World 4 years ago (yikes!), I am finally finishing up our album! This is the final page for the trip. I love this picture - I figured it would be the perfect end to the scrapbook! Oh yes - I am also just now learning how to use our scanner to scan pages (I usually just photograph them, but with the rainy weather, it's hard to get a good picture!), so the edges of the page are even all around, even though they didn't scan that way!!! :) And the challenge for this page was to do a layout in black and white with just a splash of color.
