DT Layout - Scrap It Lah

A new wonderful challenge for you at Scrap It Lah. This time you are to use the initials of the challenge, yes S.I.L. First I was lost, I wanted to be more funny, but just couldn't. However, I found a nice picture of my hubby and son sailing in Langkawi, Malaysia. Then it was clear, S.I.L, Sailing Is Life. Now take the chance and be more funny than me and check the other DTs, they where definitely more clever than me, LOL!! This month GDT is Wati from Singapore, she is a fantastic scrapper.

DT Layout - Scrap it Lah October

The word is Simple. That's the challenge at Scrap It Lah this month, just as simple as that, just like my layout. Let the photo talk, I thought. A gorgeous Orchid from my garden, one of the advantages living in the tropics, all these beautiful flowers! Pop over to SIL and join the us for a Simple journey!

DT Layout - Scrap-It-Lah September!

September's challenge at Scrap-It-Lah is to use 70% of your favorite brand, which in my case is Basic Grey, however I am bad at maths, so I am not sure I counted right, LOL! Now it's your turn to pop over there and join the fun! You do not have to be from Malaysia to enter! I used a picture of one of my favorite flowers, the Lotus! The text says; "Each flower is a soul opening out to nature" which I think goes well with the Lotus!

Happy China Man Layout!

I got my August kit from Freehand Scrap and I don't know why, but I thought direct of one of the photos from our Beijing trip this year. The military dressed old man with a beautiful smile! So here it is!

I have also received an award but from two different people, thanks so much to Omi and Roberta! You are so kind!! As always I send it on to all my readers! I have removed the image since I realized it's Disney's property, sorry!

August Challenge at Scrap-It-Lah!

The August challenge at Scrap-It-Lah comes from this months Guest Designer Irene Tan aka Scrapperlicious, you have to use any kind of SEWING on your LO! This is what I did as their DT:

Instead of a photo this time I used a postcard, I wanted to have a summer feeling (and remember it was raining in Sweden). Details are from Tilda (Norway).

I have also received several awards, thanks girls! Linda and Merry!

The challenge is called Malaysian Breakfast and you have to pick your choices from a menu with typically Malaysian food. My choices are papers, ribbons, rubons and journal around something! Chinese LO

I did this LO today for the new Challenge blog here in Malaysia, Scrap-It-Lah! The sketch was simple but elegant, however circles are not my strong side! Since I just been to China I had to use a Chinese man, hehe!

Some LOs

I did some LOs before Xmas, again very simple straight forward like my mantra - Simplicity. OK I know sometimes I do go over the top, but in my heart this is my favorite technique.

I used a postcard that came from a shoe company as a base for my Country LO.
