Happy Birthday

For the use Green Challenge click

Normally when I try a new techniques It comes out okay and I am happy with the results.
But I LOVE the way this card came out I am going to make a whole series of cards using
Botanical Silhouettes from Papertrey Ink
The technique I used was from Gina K Stamp TV
I tore a piece of paper and masked off a stripe of the card front
the I used Tim Holtz Pealed Paint and inked the exposed portion of the card
I stamped Happy Birthday with Momento Tuxedo Black ink
Add a paper flower from Walk in my Garden I made in 2010 for my Halloween cards
topped it with a turquoise button

Entered in
#100 Color Challenge
Use the three colours associated with Fantabulous Cricut (purple, green and turquoise

#45
Get Messy"! Create a birthday card using lots of inking, paints or mists and of course include a birthday sentiment/wording on your card front!

Hope today was the start of a rewarding week.

I find Sympathy cards the hardest to make but the most appreciated when received.
