Birthday Card
For those of you who are new to my blog this will be your first post of my little girls creations. From time to time my 3 year old daughter creates something and I will usually post it on here to share with all of you. Tonight we sat down to create a birthday card for my boss' daughter who is turning 15 tomorrow.
Here is Abby's card she made. She used Lili's Birthday cake, some papers from my stash, colored pencils, stickles (that girl is addicted to these) and a bow made my me (as well as a little help cutting out Lili) :) She also signed the inside and "addressed" an envelope to mail it (I'm hand delivering).

Abby's card
Abby made Brian a card for his birthday last week and I've been meaning to post it on here to share with you all.
She stamped and colored the image, cut the papers and ribbon and all I had to do was put adhesive on the backs of them. She was pretty precise on the placement of things and of course she had to add the soccer balls on :)
and she even signed it! Not bad for only being 3 :)
supplies:
Image - Motivet
Stickles
colored pencils
paper/ribbon - stash
soccer beads

Proud Mommy Moment here
I just happened to go over to the Sweet Pea stamps blog tonight and there staring right back at me was Abby's card that she made a few weeks ago. I am such a proud mommy right now.

Abby's card
It was a wet and rainy day today so we were stuck in side all day :( After hours of torturing Daddy with playing with dolls, etc I let Abby play at my table. She was pretty excited to be able to pick everything out and assemble my "mother's day" card (she seems to be stuck on this holiday LOL).
She picked out one of my Sweet Pea Stamps to color in and the papers were from my scrap pile. Of course what girl can't resist putting flowers on her card =)

My mother's day card
or at least that what Abby say's it is :) Yesterday on our day home (which she is feeling better), twice she wanted to stamp LOL So the first time she actually took out her scissors and made this card, the only thing I helped with was putting the adhesive on and the dragonfly brad. Not bad for a 3-year old :)
The image is from Bugaboo and everything else is from my stash. I am entering it in the following challenge:

One happy girl...
As you can tell Abby is very happy to have her own adhesive gun LOL She always wants to play with my ATG but it so big and bulky it is hard for her to maneuver it around. I was cleaning out my area when I saw that I had the glider pro "gun" so I went out and a refill for it since it would be easier for her to use. Right off Abby wanted to get some paper and start gluing things together and then she wouldn't give it up, she even wanted to take it to bed with her LOL

Custom Portrait drawn by Victoria Case
I know it's way too early to be thinking about Father's Day but I had to get a start on it since I wasn't sure how long it would take. I wanted to give Brian something that he wouldn't ever expect and of course he has no clue who Victoria Case is so I knew I was on the right track LOL I contacted Victoria on Wednesday about drawing up a sketch of Abby and what you see is the final copy that will be mailed out today/tomorrow.
I am amazed at how much it does look like Abby and how it captured her personality (and chubby checks) perfectly. Brian is a huge Philadelphia Eagles Fan so when Victoria said she put Abby in the Eagles shirt, I knew Brian would LOVE it!
I of course can't keep a secret so I showed Brian today and he is VERY excited to get it this week.

Abby's cards
Over the weekend, Abby stole some of my bugaboo images and attacked them with pens :) So tonight we finally had a chance to sit down and put them on cards. Since she's only 2 (well almost 3), I wanted something easy for her to assemble and the Die Cuts R Us Challenge from last week came to mind, here are four cards she made :)
