Fa La La
This was my first Littlehouse piece. I just discovered LHN
and love every design. I work on 14ct or 18 ct mostly.
This was my first 2010 completed ornament.

Started on my first ornament
I've started my Fa la la ornament today on 30-count Cappucino with Venus threads instead of DMC. It will be the first one of twelve. And I enjoy stitching it.

Fa La La, Pear Tree
I finally finished my Fa La La ornament.
I stitched it on a golden color fabric with sparkles.
I put a gold bead in the lantern, decided not to stitch
the girls faces and made all the words in white.
It showed up the best.
I also changed the colors of the girls dresses.
So . . . it is finished ~ one down and 10 1/2 to go.

Not a favorite one but I am making my self finish it.
I changed the colors to variegated shades and used a piece of fabric I had that is light beige and a 32 ct.

YAY! I have a finish! FaLaLa is stitched!
I have a finish, tho it is small. Life has been so hectic lately, I rarely have time to stitch. But I have been plugging away at this first ornament, and finally finished stitching it. I am going to make it into a pinkeep, a finish I have not done in a while, but that I love.
I used a scrap of 32-count linen, with DMC threads, and seed beads. Plus a clear bugle bead and a gold bead for the lamp. I decided not to do their facial features... looks fine without.

My “Fa La La” Finish
Here is my LHN “Fa La La” finish, I stitched this piece on 32c Murano Ivory and intend to stitch them all on 32c. I used Six Strand Sweet Threads instead of the recommended DMC ones, and omitted the beads on the design for stitches, I finished it as a hanging cushion style ornament with a dark red bead trim.
