LHN/CCN Stitching Needlework Round Robin

I had a wonderfully fantastic mailday when my RR arrived home safely on Tuesday. This has travelled inland to 4 cities over 3 states and took a flight to South Carolina, USA before coming home sweet home. The journey began on January 2011 and it came home before its due date in October 2011
Charts: A Stitcher's Prayer ( Lillie), The Sampler Girl (Diane), Curly Q Ewe ( Margaret),
Quilting (Joanne), Embroidery Guild (June)
All chart except A Stitcher's Prayer has been cropped to fit in the 100ct x 100ct square
Fabric: Lakeside Linen 32ct Pearly Barley
Stitched two over two
(the fabric color is actually a bit more tanned rather than looking grey here)
Floss: All DMCs
All OD Conversion to DMC - my choice of colors to compliment my fabric

I can't thank all the ladies enough, its how I had envision it to be. I hope to put up an update of all the ladies RR in my blog when everyone received theirs sometime in October 2011 and hopefully by then I have completed the border for mine and sent it for framing.
In the meanwhile I am still on cloud nine.

Ain't it lovely?

I think so. As I've said in previous posts, some of us have been stitching the gorgeous design "Embrodery Guild". The deadline is today and although for several reasons some members have not been able to finish on time, here you can see what some of us have done. I love to see them all together in this gallery; it's great to see how different they look depending on the fabric and floss used. As I get new pictures I'll upload them to the gallery. Click on the image to open the gallery. Enjoy it!!

Embroidery Guild SAL

Hi everybody, a few of us have joined to stitch the gorgeous LHN Embroidery Guild. It's not very big but, since some members are really busy, we decided to divide it in three parts; each part has to be stitched in fifteen days. We started last Wednesday and here you can see my first part; now I'll have to wait until next week to start with the second one. I hope you like it.

I'm using DMC linen 32ct and the suggested threads (DMC+ Crescent Colors).
